- I've taken all the drills I've ever used to practice Petrouchka's ballerina dance and made a downloadable PDF to go with this video (and part two, also available on youtube), where I talk through and demonstrate each exercise.

Awesome !
Excellent recorded trumpet sound!
It would take a little extra time, but in post, if you could bring up the level of your voice it would help.
Can you play the solo on a Bb trumpet
Hey Ben! Thanks for this guide, very helpful!! What is your opinion about number of breaths in this excerpt? Should you always breathe at the same places and the same number of breaths or does it depend? I feel like I some times can do it in 2 breaths, some times 3 and sometimes 6. Not sure if I should stick to one and make it work everytime instead of alternating between them hmm..
Hey Michael- I used to have set places where I would breathe and now just have a couple of places where I DON’T breathe! There is a great quick breath exercise in the stamp book which helped me a lot to fix this issue. Glad this was helpful!
@@BenWrighttrumpet Thanks for answer! Stamp's quick breath is very good. I do them in my daily routine. :-)
In the last part of the video, you can hear the harmonics in the echoes.
