The face of Ryan Beach at 14:41 is how I always remember him. Great video!!

Great video. I am humbled. I am from a previous generation when our sound was unashamedly more distinctive and less homogenous. Play principle in multiple distinctive but smaller orchestras. Early adapter for baroque trumpet. However the last thing in the world is for those students to be rough on the high notes. Have a flyer if you must but never on the big one. Air focus and mental confidence

This is truly a great video and should act as an important pedagogical tool. I hope that this circulates to high schools and colleges from coast to coast. Could have come in handy for myself at that age.

Just to add more comments, those students were out of tune all the time ....they need to spend more time on Ear training also

You're the one that needs to focus on ear training. Not all of the time was it out of tune.

They are actaully quite out of tune in a few places, but that is not too strange. I guess they haven't played much together, maybe didnt even tune together? I mean, they are great players, for sure they just need to find each other more

You know how difficult it is to transpose stay I tune all together and still sound musical? They are transposing from F to their C trumpets
