  • Welcome to the BGGT Maker channel!
    In this video, I show you the setup process and the first test print of the Anycubic Photon Mono 4K resin 3D printer. This is my first 3D printer and I am just getting started with 3D modeling and printing. The original resin and original parameters were used to print the test cube model, but there is a problem, you can see it in the print pictures. Anycubic, why???
    You can see the unboxing of this printer on my channel!
    Thank you for watching!

    I was following along the instructions that came with it, and it said that was the resin vat. Didn't believe it, shit looks like it's pulling the model out of the void. Not at all what I expected, but pretty cool

      Volume of resin? It depends on what model you want to print... But I recommend filling the tray with the maximum volume, this way there will be fewer defects from bubbles)

    • @bggtmaker
      @bggtmaker  11 месяцев назад +1

      When you save a file in a slicer, it writes the print time and how much resin is needed, but it's better to pour the maximum, so there will be no bubbles and fewer print defects. But do not pour above the MAX. mark. 👌💚

    Watching this machine pull an object out of goop blows my mind. How does this stuff work??

    • @bggtmaker
      @bggtmaker  Год назад +1

      Hi!)
      The essence of a 3D printer is as follows. The platform is lowered into the bath to a depth that depends on the thickness of the printed layer. Then a layer of the future model is projected onto it with a laser. Under its influence, the photopolymer hardens, that is, the formation of the part begins. The platform is then lowered to begin forming the second layer. And so on until a three-dimensional model is obtained. After printing is completed, the product is treated with special compounds to remove excess material. At the final stage of work, the part is placed in an ultraviolet chamber, in which it hardens.

      @@bggtmaker Hey so I just got the printer and it is showing issues with recognizing my USB drive (it didn't come with one for the printer). I formatted my USB to FAT32 for it to recognize my .pwma files (which I sliced from the Photon Workshop slicer. Yet, the printer does not recognize anything. Have you had an issue like this before?

    • @bggtmaker
      @bggtmaker  10 месяцев назад

      The kit should have included a flash drive, mostly red... It’s strange that you don’t have one(
      I transferred files with my other card, there were no problems, the printer saw everything. Did you take a good look at the set? There should be a slicer installer and a test model of the cube for printing on the flash drive...
      Also, if you are already using another flash drive, make sure that the printer model is correctly specified in the slicer settings!
