    For 1 hour they kept telling me that their numbers where more accurate & up to date than mine ( blah blah blah). Stood up told them I needed to leave, told them they had a hard job and really did appreciate all their time (reached out to shake their hands bye). At same time told them that until I went to 3-5 dealers and had a No at "my" price/max budget on the vehicle I had to be moving on since they where just the first dealership in my journey.......They instantly folded like a house of cards before I got but about 3 steps away from them.

    7:48 It’s interesting you say that, because at a Dodge dealership in Oklahoma City, they have every single car, even the BRAND NEW Hellcats, Scat Packs, Durango 392s, etc. selling for up to $11k UNDER MSRP.

      Already got my redeye but looking for a friend. Was surprised when I searched their new inventory. They do have alot of challenger and Durango cats. And they are taking 3 or 4k off. Thanks for the info! Nice to find a dealer who's ready to move cars. Best prices I've seen in awhile

      @@rrpence21 Just make sure you mention the online price and show them when you speak to them, that way you can get the deal.

      Try going in and say you got it down to 2 dealers, them and someone else (making sure that there's a car over there). Tell them point blank you will be buying a car. So what will they do for you to get your business?

      Try Desert 215 superstore in Vegas, I just bought a 21 scat with 12k miles for 38+tax no funny business, They have brand new scats for way below MSRP. Give them a look Cal/Nev dealers have reciprocal title and reg.

      The brand new Challenger slim body Scats are around $46K at a couple dealerships in the Phoenix, AZ area. They got them set below MSRP.

    I just bought a new Jeep Wrangler and they got me for $299 for window etching. I had them give me $500 off towards a dealer-installed trailer hitch. So it was almost a wash-ha, ha. These guys must lie awake at night looking for ways to beat you down!

    Knowledge of the product youre looking to buy ahead of time is key, no matter the brand or product. They'll play all the games of "dealer spec" this and that and special wax and sealer or a dealer installed spoiler pin stripes etc to upsell the price up a few extra bucks for them.
    I had an interaction with a Dodge sales right when the SRT8 Challenger were new.. I was maybe 21 then. Nice guy talked to him about it, told him I wanted to look at them up close without looking at someone's personal one in the parking lot and freaking them out. Of course he immediately asked if I would do a trade in etc and tried to get me on "oh its got the Hemi with 425hp" I start asking questions to educate myself and see what I already knew was fact or if he would blow smoke... Sometimes old fashion boots on the ground knock on doors mentality is the best. A phone call email or text they can ignore until 4:55pm and their offices close at 5pm. Face to face interactions and a good repour is the best way. But in person interaction can work to their favor as to "you came hre so you'll buy it" LEARN WHEN TO SAY NO AND WALK AWAY.

    I bought my 2024 gmc sierra 2500HD using some of your advice..they tried to low ball me on my trade, and add ons..but i had my own finacing before I walked in...did the same with my hellcat..

    good stuff...things I always think about but don't always ask. After markups I heard you say there's 4 more questions but only counted three. Can you list them? I got markups, add-ons, financing, and trade-ins.

    Was in “ The Business fora while , Good Tip , last few day’s of the month they tallying up for the monthly bonuses . They will stretch to make the numbers work ! Also , the end of the day on a Saturday these guys are worn out from the 60 hour weeks they put in . Your best move when U don’t like the deal I to WALK TOWARDS THE DOOR ! Good Luck

    I wouldn’t trade no gas vehicle for an EV….especially when we know the price is going to be TGDH plus dealer mark ups too

    Would you ever consider one of the maintenance/warranty packages finance offers at the end of the deal? They offered me full factory maintenance for the next 10yrs/100k miles for $1500. All oil changes, spark plugs, etc.

      I have in the past but I heavily counter their offer on the price and generally can get them down by 30% or more depending on what it is they’re selling. I also weigh out how long I plan to keep the car and what my actual cost of maintenance would be.

    My experience has been that what the dealer will tell you over the phone to get you on the lot has no basis in reality.

    I'm getting the "they aren't making these cars any more" after I say they have a 300+ day supply. I'm not in a hurry. I'm looking at everything all across the country. I took a test drive, I told them I'm not in a hurry and they gave me the OTD price that was higher than when I first came in.

    My prediction apr cut in half and normal depreciation of 10-15 percent by early 2025. Making an 2023 challenger scat pack right around 40k.

    I have a guy who’s selling a garage kept Hellcat Redeye challenger used at 10k miles on it! 1 owner, no accidents!
    Should I got for it? It’s cost 71k

    They are 2023 & 2022 models , even if they are new they have depreciated. They need to take $5000 off minimum or they can sit on lots and in showrooms.
