Nice video and great product again. Brands like WLtoys makes this hobby really affordable (while everything else is getting more and more expensive). It would be nice if these would also be offered as a "Kit" since I like to assemble this kind of stuff on my own instead of having it RTR. I do have a question though: How does it make you aware if the battery is low? My WLtoy buggy just "stops" and starts blinking - that would be somewhat inconvinient on a lake LOL
The remote beeps to warn you of low battery and out of range.

Damn, im gonna have to get one of those. I bet changing the prop size you can get more speed out of it if you can handle it lol. I have a 1/10 scale truck i built from scratch that does like 80 mph. Not 80 as in scale speed, 80 as in if a real car does 80 I can keep up with it. I use it mostly for show since i have tons of money invested in it. All I'd need is a boat trailer. Either i could buy one or build it. I did however build a 1/10 scale car trailer from scratch. Needs finished when i get the time, but looks kool all at the same time. I even bought some diamond plate styrene for the floor. Lol, i get all into the major details like i do my model cars

After watching ur review on this cool boat I ordered one for myself but due to extra dollar rate it costs 150$ for me In Bangladesh.
$110 is a great deal,but i had a seller offer me a brand new one for peanuts... That never happened before...i can't wait to see its potential ... i heard electronics don't even get warm on stock... finding a better prop will be my first improvement . thanks for sharing

They are pretty decent. Only downside is finding parts for them
You need to tease some knee-boarders next time out. That boat could have some purposeful panic value. ;o)

Honestly maybe a few drops, it was sealed tight very well
How waterproof is it? It would have been nice to see how much water was inside the boat after 10 minutes driving...
I forgot to add that part but I did film it, the inside was dry, not a single droplet 👍
I just ran mine in choppy windy conditions ... Ended up submerging the boat several times and also flipped it. Inside it was BONE DRY.

Is it possible to install the 11.1v battery 3300mah? If not, how many mah batteries are available?
anything is possible ,but a 3300 is way to big and would turn this boat into a submarine.. maybe try a 2000-2200 first... you never want to run boats over 8 minutes with out checking for heat and water in the cabin...boats are fun but use common sense or you will ruin it very fast...
how would you compare this one to a cheerwing arrow?

I have had this boat for like a week and the first few days it would go straight to its top speed. Now it takes a little while for it to and then it finally kicks in and goes fast.any suggestions?please help.

@aprivrt129 Yes this one does come with battery and charger, there's couple choices you can select from, you can get with two batteries and charger. The expensive boats and cars most of them sell without battery and charger. This a great entry level boat to get started.

Is this a rebranded ft012? The answer is NO. I've had the ft012 for a while and just got the wl916. The outer shells are very similar. However the internals are very different. You cannot use each other's controller. ie. the protocol is different. The feilun ft012 is the better boat. It is faster and has the better controller. The wl916 was more water tight.
PS. Also the wl916 has an unexplained habit of diving under the water and becoming fully submerged and then after a few seconds popping back up. D’Oh!

When you turn over, when the battery alert sounds, you can't come back without returning to the original. At that time, there is no choice but to enter the water and go get it. (I am experienced)

I got one. No chance with the stock battery tray. The battery tray is the same size as a 2s wltoys 2100mah battery trays on the new 124016-124019 RC car. With Velcro.
@@davidtruelove5022 I’ve found that you don’t want to put too much extra weight ( battery) in these, or the performance will suffer.
