* Three Years Ago*
"My sides were burning and water was getting into my nose but I didn't care, I needed to beat Carter.
Carter: teasingly "You can't beat me, Lace, I'm a professional."
Lace: "You - wish!" I yelled as I dived forward, headfirst into the sand, sliding across my belly.
Carter: "What the - You never win!"
Lace: It's just what I like to call... Skill."
Carter: "You think you're skilled?"
Lace: "Oh, I know I am."
He chuckled and I frowned at him, not appreciating his attitude. But before I even had a chance to respond, his hands pinned me to the sand. His face was mere inches from mine.
Carter: "Skilled, huh?"
Lace: "Ye-s..." I trailed off as he brushed his lips against mine. Although it was only a peck, it felt amazing to me.
Afterwards, we towelled off in silence before I grabbed his hand, and interlaced our fingers as we strolled over to our hut. My relationship with Carter had always been complicated, we basically grew up together because our parents are best friends and we live next door to each other. My parents built a hut for us when we were six and over the years, we expanded it into practically an apartment now. For years, we would always race across the water, in battle. This 'hut' was our Haven, basically. It was the place, where we would go if we wanted to hang out, or were upset, it was our tradition.
There was nothing that I loved more than being here with Carter, I could see us together for the rest of my life.
Lace: "I promise...".
Carter: "That we..." he continued without hesitation, already knowing what I was going to say.
Lace: "Will be..."
carter: "Best friends, forever." Carter wrapped his arms securely around me. Being in his embrace, I believed Carter would never hurt me, but I was completely wrong..."

This is video so cool! I really hope that Carter becomes a better person and they get married.
I am excited to have my video featured here as I went through a lot and I’m hoping to inspire others who went through/or are still enduring abuse. Growing up I was abused by certain family a lot and bullied in school as I was often bullied and mistreated because I was autistic as certain Family members did not want to except that I was autistic, so they i’ll see use me as their personal trashcan to dump all their toxicity onto me.
At school it wasn’t any better as when I was in middle school I was severely bullied and the Director of the inclusion program that I was in not only did not stop the bullying but encourage the bullies to pick on me even more
Including one day that she told one of the bullies that I said something behind his back and he pushed me down the stairs and then the inclusion director threatened me that if I told the principal what happened I would be in trouble.
I never really got along with her as every time I got in trouble for getting into altercations even though I never started them nor was I the aggressor and after I accused the inclusion program Director discriminating against me for being autistic and Middle Eastern she only treated me even worse.
I actually submitted my story of what happened to me and where I am now with my goals of becoming a broadcast meteorologist I just hope that it will get aired on this amazing channel.
We need a part 2 😩

Guys this story teach me alot .💞💖
Really great story but I wish it didn’t seem unfinished and there wasn’t any end result to the conflict would of been nice to know what happened with the 2 Protagonists and what happened with granny. The artwork was really detailed and perfect it was like a comic strip witch I really liked those my grandmother who passed away used to get the newspaper all the time and I would read the comic strips that were in them. Overall besides a story being on finish I really enjoyed it

my grandmother had a stroke as well. i was 4 at the time but shes living in a wheelchair and is so lost in alternate realities with this imaginary person called bridget that we never really see the real her when she is focused most of the time shes caught in mood swings, i know its sad but at least shes still here, shes also paralysed in one leg and one arm
