This is not the best version of this song she did, in the other version her vocals so stable, arrangement is bit different (better) and tone/color changes she did fit more than this... nice reaction....

in this she played with the timings and riffs.... felt some changes are done at the moment, how she felt or something, this version is more passionate and involved than other version which is technically more superior...

This is not the version that we are referring to..but still..her consistency still stun everyone...try You Raise Me Up..the one in goldie hair version...she was nearly hospitalized before the performance but she insisted to finish the whole performance to praise GOD...so you will see a stronger inner spirit instead of monster skill arrangement performance..

As you probably know by now after watching the entire video, this performance wasn't autotuned. We can hear at least couple of pitch inaccuracies, which makes it even more impressive that number is low, considering the demand/difficulty level of the arrangement. In general, I consider 95% pitch accuracy in a live environment is acceptable, though preferably 98% - 99% if it's a "regular" song. Well, Sohyang isn't "regular" for sure, but she's still human like the rest of us, no matter how many "She's not human" comments made when she performs. 😁

I really, really want to recommend Sohyang's performances from the _"King of Mask Singer"_ series (KOMS for short). These truly were in my view the best showcase of peak maturity of Sohyang as a vocalist and as an artist. However, I'm wary about making a recommendation, because MBC, which is the station/channel responsible for KOMS, is notorious for being strict on copyright.
(Unfortunately, nobody told their higher ups that in this internet age, social media like RUclips is the new *_word-of-mouth,_* and reactors/influencers represents the new *_social proof_* concept. Or, these higher ups are stubborn old school mules who don't listen or capable of comprehending new paradigm. RUclips reactors basically work pro bono marketing and promoting their product, sometimes even *paid* them when there's a claimed copyright.)
Ranting aside, I want to offer a few methods that may increase your chance to be able to successfully publish your reaction videos (including those for Sohyang's KOMS run):
1. Editing
You probably know this already, whenever someone uploads a video, RUclips automatically scans and makes comparison to its massive database of Content ID, audio and video, to seek a match. If there's a match, then the uploaded video is usually blocked. So, to avoid a match, *extra work* is required, to chop or alter the source video (blurring, use of overlays, slides, etc), whether the entire reaction video, or just the video of the performance being reacted to. Either way, it's extra work in editing.
2. Premade dynamic video source
Wouldn't be nice if instead of the original performance videos. which will immediately matched by RUclips, there are pre-edited videos of those same performances for reactors to use? 3. Pause interval strategies
This can be done mid recording, as you've been doing, just more frequently, and also post recording, where you *edit-in* your commentary/analysis of what the singer (Sohyang in this case) is doing technically in that particular part of the song. Or, combination of both. The advantage of post recording insert is you don't have to remind yourself constantly while recording to remember to pause, but instead enjoy the performance as you would if you're not recording, aka more natural. You can always still pause whenever you want while recording of course, to lessen editing later.
4. No video and very-low/zero volume audio
Yes, as nonsensical as it sounds, people do watch reaction videos even without the video/audio of the performance attached. It's a smaller viewership obviously, but I had watched a couple of these myself, and will continue to do so, depending on the singer/song. 😁
5. Patreon
Since you've already made a Patreon account, you may chose to upload there. I've seen reactor who publish the video behind the pay wall, or made the video public, or made it public for a certain period, then move the video behind the pay wall. Whichever method you choose, remember to post a teaser in RUclips, even if it's a video using method #4 outlined above.

Omg i love her so much, the song that truly love a lot is her cover of a South Korean song "Where are you" so much emotion, everytime i hear it i literally start crying.
I would recommend "hug me" and "Home"
Hug me is extremely emotional, while home is angelic.
My personal favorite is Home. She doesn't uses her signature high note, but she uses ANGELIC, and I truly mean ANGELIC, pure head voice that takes you somewhere.

The 2016 version you are watching isn't the best version she performed for Bridge over troubled water but nonetheless still a fantastic performance. The Immortal Songs 2 version ruclips.net/video/C6iHh4yBxCo/видео.html was the first time she performed and arranged the song in 2015 as she "competed" with other singers so I recommend you give that watch behind the scene because you will enjoy it seeing how you enjoyed the 2016 version too.

Lean on Me ruclips.net/video/GvsgCllcNPE/видео.html was praised by Micheal Bolton himself towards So Hyang for being a virtuoso through this performance.

A few interesting things I've learned about her, she is a scince fiction author. She is a cancer survivor and devout Christian which gives her a powerful testimomy. She studied voice at University, which is more than obvious. She is a wonderful , compassionate person. I have thoroughly enjoyed becoming acquainted with her music.

Immortal Songs does provide unsurpassed production quality - staging, lighting, sound engineering, video editing, musicians and background singer quality - so that performances are great entertainments if not epic. However to perform so well in an outdoor event with normal staging and videography is more amazing. The a cappella moment in Everyone was so astounding because it was stripped down to just her voice and words. Similarly Masked Singer performances impact so strongly because the stage is bare, the singer unidentified and it comes down to just the voice. So no I don't think this was the wrong performance.

In an out door live performance that was actually quite spectacular, than say in a TV studio setting where sound stage and echo is more easily controlled and less of a singer's distraction.

How wonderful she is! I had not heard this version. Her version from KBS K-Pop, is about twice as good and may very well be one of her three or four best performances of any kind, though she is always out of this world. Her rendition of "I Have Nothing' is amazing as is her version of 'Misty' from the BeginAgain concerts during the pandemic. She also has a song where she raps and harmonizes with some of the very best Korean musicians. The song is called 'Day Day'. She is simply the best female voice on the planet! Almost anything from her is great to watch. For something a little different she was on a series that featured a small group of talented artists busking throughout picturesque Europe, mostly singing Korean and an occasional English song.
If you are getting goosebumps from the songs you've reacted to so far please try and find Sohyang performing on Begin Again Korea and singing 'I will always love you.' This is a series of musicians touring Korea singing and performing to the public in different locations. There are no big orchestras or effects so she brings the big movie sound and gives it the simplicity of the original by Dolly Parton. The effect is totally stunning.

She had pneumonia for the first time in 2016 and it was a very difficult time to her. At that time, she wandered for a moment and was debated herself whether should keep sing or not.
But she thought about the purpose of her singing and take a grip herself, and then mentally overcome, but still not free from pneumonia.(She had pneumonia about 10 times so far)
It seems to be exactly the performance at that time.

Nah. Ilike this performance is better. The echo effect in the audio of the original preformance makes it hard to listen to. Her performance here was just as flawless

I don't know, but I love this one more than the phenomenal Immortal songs version, perhaps because I see her as more "human" here, aside those off-pitch here and there, she sounds more beautiful (probably because the background music wasn't too loud, not like that Immortal song performance).
In here she looks and sounds so perfect yet vulnerable, this is how the song must be treated, and she did justice. How I love her very much.
