Awesome reaction to this one....The big open mouth with the tongue flat is how we all are when she sings...lol So Hyang.... the "Mix Master"...lol One guy who reacted to her rap song, which is rap/singing, was done so quickly, and he was just shocked at her precision on hitting those notes as fast as she was singing them, and he called her a VOCAL Technician. Now this is just my opinion, and I am not a singer, but have been a musician for most of my life, I am 57 and again in my opinion, and due to her super technicality, she is the best female vocalist on the planet. She is not just a singer. She has been very well trained, and has put in the hours and years to be as perfect as possible. There are many other great singers and a few VOCALISTS, but to me, she is just beyond awesome. One other I am a huge fan of, and mainly due to her tone, is Lara Fabian. Both of these women put loads of emotion in each and every performance like they are living it and telling you the story as if each song was written about them and for them. I never realized until last week, but just found out that Lara Fabian wrote the song Broken Vow, which everyone who is anyone sings this song. Oh, and I am glad to see more than one Vocal Coach who reacts that actual shows they can sing also, and explain in detail what the singer is doing. You are the second one I have found that I like for these reasons.

The difference between what Mori and So does with this song is important. Mori went "look what i can (almost) do", while So changed the song to make it fit her, and what she wanted to express. And it is that in reality her interpretations are an adventure of emotions through which she guides you through her interpretation, technique and precise ornaments of her. And also I understand that Sohyang can also do the 'whistle', but he does not use it in general (not only for this song) because she does not see it as aesthetic. But as you say, it is also a matter of taste ... they are both spectacular singers.
