Poor Garabaldi. He was captured and brainwashed into turning against all his friends and allies. Into believing Sheridan was the enemy. And then when he got his mind back he had to live with the guilt of what he'd done :(

For those not aware, this song is by Christopher Franke, a german musician. Babylonsounds has a high quality version. The song is "Bar Background Music" from Babylon 5: The face of the enemy OST.
As for the singer, people have contacted him to ask and he's not answering.

Christopher Franke was also in the classic 70s lineup of Tangerine Dream, one of the biggest electronic music bands out there.

Dude’s got future tranquilizers in his blood and it still takes an entire bar to bring him to his knees. Say what you will about Sheridan not having much of a character arc, he made up for it in spades by being one of the biggest badasses in the whole show.

@@Slopmaster I mean, I could see what they're saying. Sheridan wasn't supposed to originally be there, but Michael O Hare had to leave. Sheridan definitely has an arc, but it isn't one of self-revelation in the same way Sinclair's was. Sheridan is pretty much self-actualized from the outset. His main internal conflict is getting over the death of his wife.
I'm not bashing on Sheridan. He's a stark contrast from Sinclair but both share a strong sense of patriotism and love of their home, but clearly not to the point of jingoism or blindly following orders. They just get there in different ways. I would say that that Sinclair has more internal character development as that's where a lot of his conflicts stem from. Sheridan mainly faces a lot of external enemies and conflicts that define who he is. But that's just how I look at it.

This was by far THE best sci-fi series EVER. It was so much better than star trek; the story telling was gripping and intelligent. Personally, I would love to see the scene where Bester and Sheridan with Lyta go to Za h dum to see if there is any technology left behind by the shadows, but when they arrive it explodes.

I was also partial to Bester's little confessional to Garibaldi while on that train, and just leaving him to ponder this. Only to have Garibaldi suddenly recall everything he had done and snap

What made Babylon 5 better than STNG or DP9 was it showed all levels of society. Star Trek was all uppity with artsy fartsy music and plays. Even the Klingons had Opera. That's fine but how about a little on the edge music. Babylon 5 had it.

@@Fuzzytiger-el4ep Eh, I mean you can say the Federation pushes for cultural conformity for the worlds that join them (this is explored in DS9). But they do BENEFIT from the technological advances that the Federation shares with their member worlds. So, it's give and take.
You can argue that the Federation understands it's better to help try to lift post-warp civilizations up and entice them with goodies to keep them from becoming warlike and causing problems in their territory. Basically trying to nice and benevolent and saying "hey, we can give you all this cool shit if you just play nice and follow these guidelines". That, of course, doesn't always work out. Eventually you run into the Borg or Dominion that simply can't be reasoned with like the other races can and then your entire model for operating hits a brick wall.
The Federation can do what they do because they're essentially post-scarcity. So instead of needing money they focus more on what they want to do with their lives as being fulfilling. That being said, I think the show was probably a little too optimistic with portraying how humanity would behave in the future (not that I'm slamming it for that). This is why I liked B5 more overall. Humanity doesn't change, just the setting and technology. We remain very very familiar....

@@Fuzzytiger-el4epye, which is quite funny since the writers and producers made me off of it through capitalist means all the while preaching that socialism is somehow better. Not only is it hypocritical but it reveals that socialists are some of the most greedy people around. They will deny this of course, all the while blaming capitalists for the very thing socialists love: money. LONG LIVE CAPITALISM!

Long story, but it involved him getting captured by the shadows, then turned over to Psi-corps to be programmed as an sleeper agent for their use. However as The shadows quite unexpectedly left the galaxy, Psi-cop Alfred Bester decided to use him as means of uncovering a genocidal plot against telepahts. To gain to conspirators trust, Garibaldi had to arrage Sheridan's capture(As the conspirators were also tied to earth alliance) to make them spill the beans of their plans, which they promptly did.
