This was one of my first videos, but it is not a part of my Final Fantasy review series. FFXV will receive a re-review when I inevitably get to it in that series. Check out my more recent videos… they’re a lot better!
I think this video was pretty good, it seemed a majority of the reviewers just rushed through it without really giving it much thought. It was refreshing to see somebody dig beneath the surface a bit, looking forward to the re review.
Great review. Every game has flaws. There's not a game that is perfect to everybody. I'm so glad that I went against the popular opinion and tried this game myself as it became my favorite in the series... Or at the very least it's in my top 3. I got into the franchise when seven was first released.
Played it back in 2016 with high expectations, was very dissappointed and didnt fully understood the story 8/10. Played it again in 2023, fully understood the story and played all dlc 9/10. I even enjoyed chapter 13 now, playing as gladio. The game had so much potential to be one of the best in the series, it could have been even better if they included more story bits and improved upon the story. Still a flawed masterpiece in my mind. The game has so much soul, fun gameplay system, interesting world and story (even if you have to figure some things out for yourself), great element of friendship between the characters and beautiful graphics.
The great thing is a game doesn't need to be perfect. Flaws are part of human nature and to love something despite it's flaws is a testament to how great something is. I really like FF15 and don't really care if it is universally praised. Great review.
The production is this... amazing, you managed to put everything I thought about this game into words and articulated it stunningly. I hope to see more of these wonderful reviews.
this very well made, good job. "some of character felt weak and underdevelop" yeah that's were the DLCs come to the rescue. you should give them a try all of them, specially Ardyn's.
Great review, you nailed it! Definitely not a perfect game but its one of my favorite FF titles, I find something new everytime I play. Sidebar: I didn't find the combat easy at all, it took a while for me to get the hang of it but getting good at it is what makes it fun for me. Also, you can craft way more powerful spells with the items you collect, I've had a flask of 200+ points for up to 12 uses before. That makes gathering items fun if you like to gandalf your way through battles lol. I like the freedom of this game the most, you can let the open world part play out however you want. If you don't rush quests and try to finish them, the whole thing becomes pretty epic... except chapter 13, which I agree is agonizing haha
I only finished royal edition on pc and love this game. Just got steelbook original version for PlayStation just to play the original worse version to compare… and that steelbook is so nice!
Great content man!!! I definitely don't agree with a lot of your points but I also have played twice through the original edition, not royal so you most certainly had a better experience than I... quality content tho!!!
Oh FFX is your favorite too? same here! and i also love XV one of the top 7 mainline FFs for me my top would be X IV (yes 4 not 6) VII XIV IX VII-Remake and XV the combat and difficulty had its issues but that game got me to care more than lots of the others through the story
It's only flawed to those that expected more but weren't happy with what they got. This game is perfect to me. The story. The fighting. Everything. So. There is my opinion.
Bruh the combat can be fun, buts it’s not fukin perfect. The combat feels like it’s a bad version of kingdom hearts combat. You either kill everything easy af or you get oneshotted, there is no inbetween
@@thommsen8158 Okay now that I can respectfully agree with hahaha. I love the fighting but I do know exactly what you are talking about and I cannot deny it 🤣
@@thephoenix6237i just replayed the whole game for the second time. I learned 2 new things , use the parry mechanic with holding square 80% of the time when you fight large numbers. And the second thing is , there is no right way to beat a coeurl
@@thommsen8158 oh absolutely not those cats are mean hahaha. And yeah dodging and the square thing really help out. I replayed it a while back myself and did you even know about the Armiger ultimate thingy? Yeah I sure didn't hahaha. It was a super refreshing moment to realize I had skipped something so awesome.
@@thephoenix6237 I found about it after I reached insomnia , that caught me by surprise too. I also really enjoyed playing as the boys , especially Gladio

So glad I found this! It's good to know that someone else likes FFXV. It's one of my top FF games, and likely always will be.
with final fantasy its always the "flawed" games that have the most emotion to them at least for me.

Its strange how we love this incomplete game. It is just MEMORABLE ADVENTURE❤
I agree, im playing FF15 at the moment and having a good time.

Bro your reviews are some of the best they're so well done and really detailed too. Keep going!

Great job man! Really good review. The quality of everything here was better than the MGSV one if you ask me.
I feel the same way I love this game. I only just started playing it too haha

Best minigame ever! The fishing is even better then another fish Sim!!
The production was top notch in this video 👍
If you cried at least once during or near the ending of FFXV, me too
I got teary eyes like 3 times in XV that game really got me to care the game might have had flaws but it had heart
This game, had sooo sooooo much potential T_T, it hurts
The algorithm has blessed me
Got sucked into this review man...need more of these videos in my life!!!

Even at launch this game was too legit.
I really need to play more of this game lol good review 🍐
This review is absolutely amazing PNGCblu
To this day, I don’t know why fans of the franchise hated it, played 7 remake.
And to me 15 was way better, it’s not even close.
"you guys are the best" gets me every time

For me the worst offender is how easy the game can be.
There's never been a difficult FF though
lol to both these comments
13 was good.
alot of unnecessary filler content thats for sure but i still love the game.
I'll put it this way, I would only recommend FF15 to die hard fans of the series. It has some good, not much great, and a lot of meh.
It's still a good game, gorgeous world
