I bought one from amazon for $169 I had pay someone to put it on. Plus it has rear reverse camera. My camera did not work. I replaced it and now it works fine! 2013 jeep patriot latitude 2.4 cyl. WiFi bluetooth its awsome!
One year later, please tell me you have Apple CarPlay or Android Auto as that’s the future. Either Wired or Wireless doesn’t really matter as I am mainly looking for an upgrade to my Jeep to have CarPlay or AndroidAuto.
I just installed the Fortdows 10.1" 4g+64g android 12 version of this, same screen and everything. It's pretty good but the "Vehicle Information" app doesn't show anything and there is no theme option. Besides those issues it's very nice and only took 20 mins or so to install (no backup camera yet). I have a 2015 Patriot 2.0l FWD Sport.
Did you ever get your camera issue fixed? I know i got a factory backup camera retaining wire for my sisters 13 Chrysler Town and Country. Same piece of poop Chrysler radio as you removed. It was nice to keep the factory camera.
Well it was a little complicated as far as the stock camera wiring goes so I decided not to use a back up camera considering it’s a pretty small car but the camera that comes with the head unit has pretty easy instructions on how to wire it up
I didn’t use any of the other ports like usb or camera but the main plug and antenna should be plug and play if it doesn’t work I would try to get a refund or replacement

Is it plug and play, or did you have to reposition the wires in the harness? 3. Does the Apple CarPlay work through USB or is it wireless? Thanks a ton if you could help me out! Just a bit nervous because I haven’t done a lot of technical stuff like this before.
There is instructions on how to install and im not sure about the apple car play because mine wasn’t apple car play but it was plug and play should be pretty simple install
I have a '14 Compass Latitude with the satellite radio and steering wheel controls set up. Any idea if this radio can use the oem satellite antennae on the roof for the GPS? If you have the stock touchscreen (or upgrade to it from the non-touchscreen unit) with gps + Sirius thats where it pulls the gps signal from.
If you still have the car, does this unit have SIRIUS/XM? Does the unit work with your steering wheel controls? After having the unit for a while, are you happy with it and would you choose it again?

If I leave the car for more than a day and a half or so without driving it the battery is drained. Changed battery recently and it has plenty of life. Have you had any issues with your battery since install?

Haha yea it’s pretty nice I didn’t use any backup camera just cause I didn’t want to run one but the kit I bought did come with one

It is definitely better than the OEM stereo and it would work very nice for you considering it is in kmh from factory

Iv seen some videos saying you need an antenna for the radio do the newer ones come with the right plug now
The one I bought plugged into the stock antenna but I’m not sure on the newer ones

Mine did not come with vents I used the original ones however one of them doesn’t clip in secure so I’m going to have to glue it
I looked at my Jeep Compass 2015, it has screws for the Vents. Looks very simple and easy to swap

mine came with like 8 wiring harnesses,no instructions. fkkk does alot this stuff just hook up in between radio and original harnesses
