Just some added info ,you can push the preview lever up and down one gives you 135mm framelines the other way shows the 90mm framelines. I have a m3 double stroke, luv it.

Hey Jimmy. Thanks for this video. Quick questions
What you said about not being to shoot at f/2 and slow shutter with 400 iso, has me nervous.
Are there any general guidlines you follow when you shoot with 200-400 iso, that you can share? would appreciate it. Thank you

Hi and thanks for the comment! Because the M3 max shutter speed is 1000, if you are in shooting on a bright sunny day and want to shoot at F/2 aperture (depending on film ASA/ISO), just add an ND filter on the lens. No problems 👍👍

I own a 1960 M3. Focusing via alignment of the two horizontally offset 'images' is understood. My viewfinder appears to have a consistant vertical misalignment. How can this be adjusted via CLA, could it be my vision, or is this considered 'normal'?

Hi Jimmy! Just got done doing my wood and coal. Was out all day taking a friend for meds etc. I hope you don’t mind how did you get so knowledgeable about camera’s. Are you a professional photographer or cameraman. You make it so interesting. You’d be a great teacher instructor. Thank you for the great lesson. I don’t mean to be nosy. I’m just curious.

Hi Nancy, Glad to hear you got all your heating supplies sorted out. 👍 Photography has been a passion of mine for quite a while now. I have taught a few classes and have been published before. It's definitely something I love to do.

@tommyschmitz4145 Probably around f/5.6 at 1/125th of a second. But download a metering app on your phone, and you can find out for sure.

Friends making great photos but not knowing a analog camera ........?
How about the Continental viewers in Europa; they set the DIN speed.
Leice shooters do not believe in bokeh.
    Streetphotography can not always be done at f/11;
it depends on the film speed, the amount of light,
the aperture, the shutterspeed, the filter on your lens
and the type of film developer.
    A 400 ISO and a sunny day need (1 /400) >>>1/500 sec
and aperture between f/8 and f/11. I would prefer f/8.
Electronic flash and "normal" buring bulbs have a max speed of 1/50 sec.
The other port is probably for normal bulbs at shorter speeds than 1/50
the Guide Number will go down as the exposure time shortens. Probably
named FP synch ( focal plane)
You forgot to show your fight with the Leica take up spoo
    do not be afraid !!!

Hi Jaco. All your points are well taken, however, you should try shooting from the hip. And let the chips fall where they may. You may be very surprised at the outcome ! 📷
