Luke my friend every time I watch any of your adventures you make me feel that life Is well worth living thanks so much brother god bless you and your lovely wife and family 🙏❤️🙏
I really enjoy your channel .I'm 80 years old and not able to get out and camp .So I watch your channel it brings back a lot of great memories. THANK YOU
I picture Luke’s house as just a sea of outdoor equipment, tent/tarp drying racks, and the smell of campfire soaked clothing. How he keeps it all going, I have no idea. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I am the guilty party in my household. My husband is so fed up with me, so I purchased a caravan to store all the tents and kit in. Apparently he isn't happy with that either. I have parked it next to the (full) double height trailer.
Thank you my friend for the phonominal adventures. Cancer is wicked. My Mom died from cancer. I watched her suffer day and night. It was heart wrenching. I never knew anyone could feel that much pain for anyone. I would cry my heart out when I was alone or in the shower 🚿. I had to feed her baby food and sometimes she couldn't keep that down. Maybe I'm sharing to much but I'm just saying take care of yourself Luke. You and sweet Susie are the only badass adventure campers I know and love. Thank you both.🙏🏿❤️ Ms Ann
Sorry, I gave you wrong title of Luke's ASMR secondary channel--it's actually called A Quiet Place Adventures, not The Quiet Experience, like I first said.
I’m an older woman, have never been camping and probably never will but I enjoy watching you, I worry about the weather you may encounter. Sometimes I have to get under my blanket when you encounter snow. Brrrr…Also, I appreciate that you bring all your trash back with you. Keep it up, I’ll keep watching.
I don't have skin cancer but i do have stage 4 adenocarcinoma in my liver and your videos give me the opportunity to vicariously experience the outdoors through you as I'm not able to get out there myself. Hopefully one day I'll be able to camp again but until then thank you for all your time and hard work it is appreciated.
I love a great thunderstorm. Never witnessed a tornado and hope I never have to. But, love a thunderstorm. Just got into camping out. Started small Ozark Trail Tent 20 x 8 just learning right now. Didn't think I would like it but, I love it. There's just something about sitting inside a tent. A sense of solitude and peace. Totally didn't expect it to be so comforting and peaceful. So far so good.
Off the wall and outside of the box thinking. Add a tennis ball to your kit. Cut a 2" slice on one side and put it on the top of your center pole tarp stick to protect the tarp. Plus, should wild coyotes approach you could throw the ball. What canine doesn't like a good game of fetch. Thanks Luke for taking us along, stay safe and God bless.
I do this with solid rubber dog balls from the local supermarket. Drilled small hole about halfway through the ball & force the tip of a tarp pole into the hole in the ball. Will not fall of but easily removed when you need the pole tip or for dog games. I have two of them in the back of the truck always ready to go. Your tarps will love you for it!
Sleeping on a thermarest foam sleeping pad underneath the tent works great. A lot of us do this in the desert to prevent damage to tent floors from rocks and sharp vegetation.
I was a wild child as a young girl and thinking back the many times i camped out and that was my favorite time, i,m 72 now i ,m not healthy enough to do that anymore, but i enjoy watching your adventures.i hope you will be able to conquer your illness, lovely campout ❤❤

I love watching your videos because, while I'd never go solo hiking/camping, I LOVE watching people be great at things, whether its your line of work, woodworking, or even roller skating. Keep up the good work.
Cancer does suck. I’m so sorry. I must’ve missed the video where you mentioned you have it. I’m a cancer survivor as well. It’s not fun. But there is hope, especially when you have a support network. I’m glad you have one. I’m also glad you’re able to go out and enjoy yourself on these adventures. Keep up that hope and optimism. I swear, it really helps.
When I was younger I wish we had tarps like we do now, because it would have made camping out a lot better and the fire pits now would have been great back then but when you live in the country you learn to use what you have at hand.
this jump in quality of camera use & editing from last week alone is insane! i look forward to your videos & appreciate the time/hard work you put into these videos. thank you for your time!
Luke, i really enjoy your camping adventures . The recent death of our 28 yr. Old son SPC Cody Ross Gray brings back our camping memories with our 3 children . My out of the box idea came from the sticker shock of those meals. So...I make my own. I dehydrate soups, meats, etc and make my own concoctions and love it. I spend way less money that way and get the taste I want from my food. Example is I dehydrate jams and break a piece off and add hot water, just a tad, then I have warm jam to spread on bread or crackers. I dehydrate everything..lol. I refuse to pay 20 bucks a meal for food that I don't even know if I will like. thank you for this great channel. I always know I am getting the straight facts about gear and learn from your channel with every episode.
Thanks, Luke. I'm sorry to hear about the skin cancer, and am wishing you all the best from South Africa. I have struggled with skin cancer myself and I know it is not an easy thing to deal with sometimes. I love getting to go outdoors with you via your videos and see your corner of the world.
Blessings 🙏 to you and Suzie and prayers. I'm a two time cancer 🦀 survivor so I know where you're coming from Luke and I've had skin cancer 🦀 also. Your in my prayers 🙏 y'all. Beautiful scenery. Had to opt out of my hunt camp lease this year because of health reasons been watching you you for eight years and a patron for two years you fill the void when I can’t be there myself in the woods thank you.
I just want to tell you that I’ve been watching for a few years now. Another Great Adventure from Luke on the Mountain to Our Homes. TY Brother Luke. Stay Safe Healthy & Positive. God Bless you and your Family and All of Us . Praying 🙏 for Word Peace. - Big Jim New Hampshire USA aka Boston Strong Amen.
Wow that looks like a good morning to have just hunkered back down and went back to sleep for a while. I love it when it's raining like that. Had to work out in it many times. Always loved being up high in the mountains, especially when a storm rolls in like that. It's actually the most active time for bears. One of best videos I've seen. Thanks Luke.
Luke, thanks for sharing your camping adventure. As you have mentioned before, wind is a big threat. Good idea to go for the protected camp site. Nice to watch you cover the tent, then lower the sides and tighten guide lines before bedtime. Your effort to keep your camp fire small is smart in many ways, easier to tend, burns clean, smaller fuel, and is finished much sooner. Yep, the commercial freeze dried and dehydrated meals cost too much. As usual your camp is clean, quick and smooth…way to go!! We appreciate your videography skills too. I wish you and your family well…from East Tennessee.
Glad you shared this fine adventure with us. Glad you like the little tent and yes, very good you put the tarp up over that tent. Glad you also had a wonderful meal. Thanks for the virtual outdoors fun.
Hi Luke and Susie, I like that area you are located. Of all the tents you have tested. This one is one of my favorite. God bless you both and your family.
WOW / WOW / WOW......Day TWO since cataract surgery. Your channel is showing FANTASTIC COLOR. LUV the size of your tent.....Room to move around. JimInCincy.....
What a beautiful place to camp. I would have pitched the tarp between the tent and the rocks. Also, with a storm on the way I would have kept it a bit lower. To each his or her own. Thanks for the video.
Idk why, but even if I'm not really paying attention to the video as soon as he says he's making coffee I hone in like my dogs when they hear the treat bag.
Love the storm camping adventures, thank you Luke for taking us along for the adventure and chat beautiful area your in this time the set up looks comfy cozy amongst the trees at the rock wall. Maybe you had the dreams because you watched Aliens. Thanks' again for an enjoying outdoor adventure.
Sometimes I watch your videos in the morning so I can drink my coffee with you cause I know that's the first thing you're going to do once you set up camp.
To help combat the food costs , why not purchase a freeze dryer and make your own meals. You also control the ingredients that way. That being said thank you for all that you do. I'm sorry you're still dealing with the skin cancer. I had a melanoma removed a year ago and so far, so good. Blessings to you, Suzy and family.
Hey Luke. Glad to see you again. Don’t blame you on this idea. Looks like a great place to camp. Taught me something new (About the rock wall). Just never gave that a thought. Looking forward to some storms.
It's been exactly 20 years since my last back packing trip. The meal pouches back then were $6-$10 each, none being memorable. At $20 a piece, I do hope the ones you're eating now are every bit as delicious as you say. That's pricey. This is my favorite camp site I've watched on your channel so far with that rock wall wind and sound blocking, the tarp over the tent, accessible firewood, sound of rain, etc. Five years ago, I had an aggressive skin cancer removed from my face. The surgeon did an amazing job... no skar. Best of wishes on your healing journey with it.
Yeah, I know a little about cancer. I've had it twice and beat it twice. I still love to camp. At 65 my wife and I don't as much anymore, but Lately I've been getting back into it. I get some really good information from your videos regarding equipment. Thanks very much for that. It has been very helpful. With all the tic problems you have You should try out one of those Haven Lay flat Hammocks
Love the reviews my bro... You are accurate and honest.....thanks so much. Wish I had you job! At 41 I wouldn't know where to start with the technology..... I'm more hands on. (Didn't have tech or as a younger outdoorsman) its expensive as we all know. I just bought a tent based on your reviews. Thanks!
Just a note to recommend reviewing the Firemaple Petrel pot. It's a 600 ml heat exchanger pot with 3 slots that mate perfectly with the Windmaster Triflex to make an ultra efficient stove setup.
You need to go back to that spot where something was following you and camp for a night. I think that would get alot of views. So many of us want to see that one. 😊
2205/18Apr24 - just finished watching this adventure. Thanks for sharing it with lil ole MEeee. It never ceases to amaze me how you almost always get your tarp set up just right. I always stay to see the long & growling list of "supporters" at the end. Warm Regards from Reno, Nevada.
Hi. A french dude living in Sweden. Keep up the good work. Really like your unbiased review. If you have the time / will to do it, I would like to have your "lightest winter setup".
awe that's sad but kinda sweet that people watch who haven't camped much. I'll rephrase- definitely a feather in your cap for sharing for those that ( maybe?) can't. Enjoyed the video. big blow up mattress suggestion made me smile. cheers
I will use this rare opportunity as the first comment to thank you for everything you do for the outdoor community.
Lol you made a comment about your coffee. I’m sure everyone remembers Foldgers’s add. “The best part of waking up is Foldgers in your cup!”

I bet he either has a very large garage or a separate outbuilding for his gear. He does seem very organized, which helps a lot!

No hunting no fishing just go up on a mountain to have some coffee and something to eat, you got to love this man🤷
😂😂😂
On Scottish hills we do that, no Bears, however methinks it's colder,
I think he may take photos. Doesn't he have a sideline selling beautiful atmospheric pictures?
Yet he gets thousands of viewers.
It's in his Channel name what he does. Should he go hungry or thirsty to please you? 🙄
Im 73 and love watching your amazing videos xxxxx
You need to make a long video of the storms in the mountains with the rain falling on the tarps. It is so soothing to help people with sleep problems
Luke does that kind of thing--has an ASMR channel called The Quiet Experience as his second channel. Check it out--good stuff.

Nice videos thanks for sharing
You need to go back to that spot where something was following you and camp for a night.
I think that would get alot of views.
So many of us want to see that one. 😊
The North Carolina landscape is beautiful

2205/18Apr24 - just finished watching this adventure. Thanks for sharing it with lil ole MEeee. It never ceases to amaze me how you almost always get your tarp set up just right. I always stay to see the long & growling list of "supporters" at the end.
Warm Regards from Reno, Nevada.
Hi. A french dude living in Sweden. Keep up the good work. Really like your unbiased review. If you have the time / will to do it, I would like to have your "lightest winter setup".
Nice setup. Thanks for trying it. Good story telling!
awe that's sad but kinda sweet that people watch who haven't camped much. I'll rephrase- definitely a feather in your cap for sharing for those that ( maybe?) can't. Enjoyed the video. big blow up mattress suggestion made me smile. cheers
One of your more interesting videos, nice work!
