ive always owned GM, but im not necessarily a brand loyalist. The ford and ram are really badass as well. if im going purely on looks, the Ford takes the cake. that is a beautiful truck
Hey TFL, could you not make videos with misleading thumbnails? Sure, the title was on point, but for those who clicked on the video just because of the image expected something related to "HD Wars." This was a Ford Commercial, pretty much. The trucks were not compared enough for the video to have "HD Wars" in the thumbnail. Most of the video glorified Ford and did not show any specs on the competitor trucks. Thank you.
+X___V1cT0R___X thanks for the comment. Please note that we don't "glorify" trucks. This is a Ford program so of course it's skewed to their products. It is almost impossible for us the get all three competing HD trucks at the same time so when we do, we try to be fair and objective and make the most out of the opportunity. There are HD Wars now and this is Ford's salvo so the thumbnail is appropriate.
V1ctor's point is valid. I was expecting to at least see the 2017 hp/torque numbers from the three trucks in the thumbnail. If you only have numbers from one truck, then maybe only put that one truck in the thumbnail, or at least make that one truck prominent in the thumbnail. Otherwise it does seems like "Click Bait"
+The Fast Lane Truck I think it speaks volumes that when ford does a media event, they make sure to bring the competitors' best of the best to compare. No one else does that. like how Nissan compared the 5.0 coyote f150 to the cummins because it was a "more common and fair." bs.
85 and the sales person says tax, tags, title are extra and "would you like to see any of the many options we offer ?". A bunch of jokers. Eat 'em for breakfast .
I went and looked at one a week ago. 2017 F350 Lariat SRW 6.7 4x4 with the all the fancy stuff $68,900+$390doc fee+$15 tag transfer,+ taxes+title,+license+ the great options they wanted me to get as well as some stupid hard wax stuff that I have on my Ram and it didn't make a difference for things wiping right off. Out the door I was at around $73,000ish.
Nice review Andre! Can't wait to see the new 2017's on the dealers lots!! Ford is knocking it out of the park in 2017: 2017 Ford Raptor 2017 Ford Super Duty
I'm a ford guy and I love the raptor but the ecoboost engine is a joke. the timing belts start to go bad at around 100k and when they break at high rpm u can kiss everything in your engine bay goodbye. I think they should correct that problem and make an ecoboost 6.2 or ecoboost 5.0 good mileage and a lot more power
agreed but this isn't a battle between which truck is the cutest, it's all about power dude. powerstroke or Cummings for power & GM if you Wana look pretty, BTW nobody cares how the truck looks when your pulling 30,000lbs down the road there thinkn that truck is a fukn beast
+Ravi Singh Man you must really hate GM? They're all good trucks.. it's just a preference of what you think of the brand. All companies have there good and bad vehicles a certain year.
+Levi Sherman nah dude i hate foreign trucks lol I know I sounded bias from my first comment but I got nothing against gm dude, I like all 3 (gm, dodge & ford)corvettes are badass & I'd get a 1500 silverado over the f-150 & ram but diesel trucks is a different ball game you said it best they all have there bad & there good vehicles
Dont get an xl. Base models are absolutely not worth the money unless you enjoy manual windows and clock displays in 2016. Spend the extra 5-10k and get something that will leave you proud of what you own. The fully loaded model will most likely hold its value better anyways
All of their videos are commercials. How do you think they get access to the trucks? They get invited to test and film trucks, and they say nice things and go along with it or they don't get invited by that manufacturer and the channel goes under. It's the way it is with anything these days, my friend.
I personally have a 95 chevy s10, and I tow a 20k gooseneck with Hay bales on it. Sure I upgraded the 4.3 v6 to a 5.9 cummins, and the rear leaf springs, but it still has the same frame, and it pulls great. I wanted something that was small and Nimble around the farm, to move around tight buildings and be able to pull a heavy trailer. Its a regular cab, long bed 4x4 with the manual trans for the 5.9 cummins.
If you're pulling 20k using any of the aluminum parts, you're a moron. Gooseneck is on a steel crossmember connected to the steel frame. No aluminum involved. Doesn't even touch aluminum at any point.
Seeing as everyone missed my point I will explain myself. It's like seeing a beautiful dump truck with a aluminum dump body. Looks great. Have you ever seen one in accident? I have. Looks like fat kid stepped on a pretzel. Yes frame is steel double frame steel but the bed was unrecognized afterwards. My point being I don't want to be inside of a aluminum body. I'm sure it's very strong just my view point.
YeahNo101 ? I understand that point, but the design is just as important as the material. Even though Aluminum is less rigid and fatigues more than steel, hopefully this is overcome with the alloy they used. You are correct to be worried a bit because they do not specify which alloy they used....
Ford Rep say 2017 SuperDuty frame is 24 times stiffer than previous model... either he means 24 "percent" or the previous version SD frame was made of wet lasagna ...
With the debut of every new truck, comes the engineers stating that the frame is x times stiffer than the outgoing model. Pay attention to that when the new Duramax comes out, and you'll see what I mean. As long as significant changes to the chassis have been made, you'll hear engineers flaunting the stiffness associated with them.
No kidding! Before you know it, these beasts will be at the $100K range. That's why the HD market is so competitive- there's lots of profit to be made.
The different cabs between the 150's and super duties is what I really liked. Basically they're saying "we got really cheap and just used the same can from the 150's"
+SteelCity1981 tundra is light duty... so technically they would call their "HD" call it something else. Since we don't know what though it would be toyota HD like ford's super duty.
+juan cacer Well Chevy calls their light and heavy duty trucks both Silverado. It's possible, and likely that it would be called Tundra HD. So you're wrong.
And to add another thing. That's definitely what you want in the rear end of a rwd truck... Less weight. Hah you'll be spinning the tires at 1/4 throttle
It actually is. There are videos out there showing them hitting the bed with a hammer. It makes a divot right where it got hit but thats all. With the steel bed it makes a dent then the metal will have a couple creases pretty far from the point of impact.
+Jason1Pa depends on how bad the damage is. I've made a great career out of PaintLess Dent Repair. Alot of damage can be fixed but it is certainly much harder working with aluminum.
The power stroke is not better. The duramax has countless reliability awards as its over 10 years old. The 6.7 has tons of problems or had which isn't good for reliability
best part is how he went to test the Ford for acceleration and it took awhile to get moving. These trucks are claimed to have all this power/torque, but infact the trucks that are tested for the "horsepower race" vs the ones you buy are different. They are all tamed down, have bad tunes/throttle response from factory. The truck not locking up properly is happening in all trucks. I have that same problem as the new 2017 Ford on my 2015 Ram and so does a buddy of mine who got a 2015 GMC w/duramax. They feel sluggish on take off and dont give you much power on the bottom. Very simple to fix though, just add a simple tuner box and a map for it. presto you can get great lockup and make the transmission/motor work much better together
Has anyone else noticed that ford only talks about the f450? They don't say anything about the f250 or f350 because they can't compete with the Chevy and Ram. All they ever show is the top of the line f450. The platinum or whatever. IT IS A BEAUTIFUL TRUCK but I would still take a Chevy before this f450. Instead of paying that much money for the f450, I would buy a brand new one ton duramax and put a solid axle under the front
The vid was highly misleading. For all of Ford's "class-best" stats, you must get the F450, which is not a competitor to a Chevy 3500 or Ram 3500. Even that hitch that they showed was for F450.
So they added 3-6 inches to the cab, but did they take that from elsewhere? Or is the truck longer? I like my Crew Cab with 8 foot bed, but I really can't handle anything longer!
And when you hit 61 mph, you'll find that our new super duty comes with the death wobble option. We like it so much that in a few years we're just gonna call the truck the Tremor.
I'd like to see that adhesive at 2:25 take to weight of the front of the truck! There's very little weight in the back compared to the front with the engine and trans..!
THEY WILL ALL FORGET ABOUT IT OR LIE THEY NEVER SAID THAT.NOTICE HOW MANY TIMES FORD IS FIRST WITH AN IDEA OR TECHNOLOGY, AND EVERYONE BASHES THEM UNTIL THEIR BRAND COPIES IT? THEN ITS COOL.
+fobxman actually an aluminum f150 full of marines ran over a land mine in Afghanistan and all walked away without a scratch. I bet you chevy or dodge isn't mine proof.
HD truck owners don't want TPMS. Check out any Superduty forum and you'll find tons of complaints. Plus it adds to to the cost and complication of tire replacement/rotation.
Andre, would you contact Putin, and tell him to cut it out? And, if he doesn't, you're going to buy an atomic foot long burrito at the truck stop, and mail him an atomic fart in the box.
+john edwards All that meddling in international affairs, only the U.S. is allowed to do this. That's our gig. He should go back to providing charity to the world, where he is at his best.
+john edwards Maybe, this world should be renamed "Insanity", because the inability of the people of this planet to get along because of false and real cultural issues is counterintuitive to life itself. Pride, even to false ideals above all else, is a historical status quo. Us and them to the bitter end.
+Hunt Guy yeah, I know your point. But when you actually buy a truck, some guys probably just gonna go for a F450, just because it's not that much more expensive. So from a point of a truck buyer, comparing two trucks that have similar but different capability is totally OK. And BTW, F450 is not dramatically different from the F350. They have very similar suspensions, engines, transmissions, brakes, etc. it's not like the difference between F450 and F550.
+Bigtruck Bob they are also comparing the Ford's new gen technology vs gm and dodge last gen technology... who knows what gm and dodge are about to put out for their New gen trucks... it could be that their 2016 are less equipped but their 2017 Will make the Ford look like child's play... and to me regardless of how many and how significant the difference is from 350 to 450 is the fact still stands that there are some changes that benefit it in towing so they should still use a 350 and not use a 450 to get another toe ahead by doing something as stupid as comparing a 450 to 3500... if your better just prove it with he same tier truck. they kinda hurt their bragging rights by doing this comparison in my eyes
i love how they put some serious emphasis on something so pointless. AKA the "adaptive steering" in the handling course they did the whole 2nd part of the video on the trucks going thru the test course and determining which truck had to steer less. lol in my Ram its barely 1 and half turns to go full lock either way. When are you going to need to turn soo many times in that short of a distance? if you get fatigued from turning a wheel too many times then you need to think twice about driving a truck, obviously you arent in good enough shape to use the vehicle. It's not like the old days where you were turning the steering wheel a few times around to make a turn
Remember the frame twist video when the ford's tailgate couldn't even be opened? All the ford guys were talking about how much better that was, because you don't don't want a really stiff frame. The new super duty's frame was made to be much stiffer, because that's how it should be.. Hmmmmm 😂
Concerned about the steering...i couldn't drive anything if i know it'll try to correct my turning with a trailer...i been in so many situations where you gotta jack it around.
Why are the towing specs for a 2017 F250 SRW CrewCab 4X4 Power Stoke fifth wheel less than the 2016 model? 2016 is 15,100 and the 2017 is 14,700. I had understood that the 2017 had more tow/haul capacity.
The new super duty is great... If your buying it just to tow a camper two or three times a year. If you need all those assists you don't have any business towing large trailers. I will commend them on the actual improvements they have made to make this truck perform better though.
Awesome trucks just too darn expensive! The new diesel motors also scare the tar out of me. I own an irrigation company and operate 2 3/4 tons and 1 single wheel 1 ton and I stick with gas because I need my trucks to last 10+ years and don't want the high repair cost I would have had with these current diesels once they were out of warranty. Currently operating a 99 f350 with a 5.4 and two Chevy 2500s, a 99 classic with a 350 and an 06 with a 6.0. A few very minor repairs on the ford and literally zero repairs on the Chevys.
Good points. I love the way a diesel tows but for most fleets, the gasoline still provides the capability but with lower overall cost of ownership that results in higher net profits.
Ford might of finally done a bullet proof truck. The body won't rust I hope the frame doesn't the 6.7 powerstroke is very reliable and it's been out since 2011.
Actually salt is very corrosive to aluminum, yes it won't rust, but the aluminum will get eaten away really fast if they don't coat it. But what if you get a rock chip in that coating?
Aluminum oxidizes. It turns into a hard shell that prevents corrosion. What is sand paper made of? Aluminum oxide. Steel rusts unless coated, then you get chips and it rusts under the paint. There is no winning
i still prefer the old door handles & front look too , why couldn't they just keep these 2 features at least & why no information on the 6.8 V10 ? i think it should be available as crate engine too .
+Drace Provost didn't they used to have a v12 too Also my uncles v10 with a shift kit and a chip is awesome and he can work it to get decent gas mileage
+Dodge 318 Cummins as I always say when you buy a pick up truck you don't care about mpg too or in first place much specially a heavy/super duty trucks but I just wanted to know the specs specially with that new 7 speed auto transmission
Many of us are life long Ford guys that understand how we are being extorted by the UAW and EPA! There is no reason for a truck cab to be made from Aluminum. We have to have the lowest cost maintenance possible to pass those savings onto our customers the poor and the middle class. It cost 3x as much to maintain an Aluminum vehicle and the only reason Ford did so was actually because they are losing their asses on the F-150 sales. The last 2 years GM has outsold the F-Series when adding the Silverado and Sierra together as Ford does the F-150 and F-250 thru F-550. By 2020 Ram will outsell Ford F-Series and Ford is going to lose their asses on these trucks.
Wow. Glued aluminum panels and cameras all around with a little more power and tighter steering. All things Ford should have done years ago. I wonder how much these super dutys set you back. I
Why does the Super Duty look so much narrower than the Ram and the Silverado at 0:13? Also, the Super Duty just isn't as good-looking as either the Chevy or the Ram, but especially the Ram.
Thanks for showing the base model even if it was only for a few seconds. Very few of us can afford the fully loaded versions.
and the base model is still a nice looking truck for sure.
The base model is still $45,000 lol
+max bob yep but if you need a heavy duty pickup 45 grand is half the price of the ones they usually test.
+BUILT DIESEL MAFIA 1 I like it more than the platinum's and king ranches. You can get so many options on them now and there so nice
ive always owned GM, but im not necessarily a brand loyalist. The ford and ram are really badass as well. if im going purely on looks, the Ford takes the cake. that is a beautiful truck
Hey TFL, could you not make videos with misleading thumbnails? Sure, the title was on point, but for those who clicked on the video just because of the image expected something related to "HD Wars." +Derek Ortiz I've seen many Ford videos with a F-450 paired with a Ram 3500 and Chevy 3500!!!!!!!! Where u been!!!!!!
The one with the f 350 still whooped em.
for the low price of $85,000
and $900 destination fee
85 and the sales person says tax, tags, title are extra and "would you like to see any of
the many options we offer ?".
A bunch of jokers.
Eat 'em
for breakfast .
Out the door I was at around $73,000ish.
for the platinum. That's still just a maybe tho, if you're getting worked by the salesman.
JBLIZ Within a year and 60k miles it's worth 40k lmao
Nice review Andre! Can't wait to see the new 2017's on the dealers lots!!
Ford is knocking it out of the park in 2017:
2017 Ford Raptor
2017 Ford Super Duty
Very true like always ford leads the sales battle. Chevy will make some kind of come back? But dodge on the other hand will be left far behind.
+Landon Goynes true
I'm a ford guy and I love the raptor but the ecoboost engine is a joke. the timing belts start to go bad at around 100k and when they break at high rpm u can kiss everything in your engine bay goodbye. I think they should correct that problem and make an ecoboost 6.2 or ecoboost 5.0 good mileage and a lot more power
I'll take that Race Red one he was driving. What a good looking truck.!
Seriously, that truck looks real good.
That may have been your best review video yet - thorough, multi-story lines, lots of details
Yo dawg, we heard you like fenders so we put fenders on your fenders so you can fender while you fender.
I was using this channel originally to find a truck because I'm turning 16 in 5 months. Now i watch regularly just because i like the videos! :)
Boy Titan and Silverado are just looking better. By the minute
Funny how the Titan looks a heck of alot like an F150. Coincidence.?.. LOL
agreed but this isn't a battle between which truck is the cutest, it's all about power dude. powerstroke or Cummings for power & GM if you Wana look pretty, BTW nobody cares how the truck looks when your pulling 30,000lbs down the road there thinkn that truck is a fukn beast
Cute? I wasnt talking about cuteness? Are you gay? lol

Almost afford! Almost
+thegreatga ouch!

+iinventedrunescape I love manual windows and door locks. If only they still offered a manual transmission...
Awesome truck for sure
As if we don't get enough ford commercials on tv already or any other brand
Clickbait, HD wars my butt this is a Ford commercial.

+fordrac1ng81 I don't mind
At least it's not a Transformers movie, which is a 3hr chevy ad.
Yea he knows that he's beaign a fucking moron
+Kent Llemit lmao
Ram played GM and Ford on this next gen, I'm excited to see what they're gonna do with the 2018's
It's still a Fiat, or Dodge,,the Fiat of America ;)
I personally have a 95 chevy s10, and I tow a 20k gooseneck with Hay bales on it. This is the baddest truck on the market just ordered 2017
Nice. Don't like the all aluminum though. Something about pulling 20k on a gooseneck and being surrounded by aluminum makes me uncomfortable.
I'm sure it will be fine if you stay within the engineering specs, plus they still use a steel frame which is really what matters
Aluminum Alloy*
If you're pulling 20k using any of the aluminum parts, you're a moron. Gooseneck is on a steel crossmember connected to the steel frame. No aluminum involved. Doesn't even touch aluminum at any point.

I broke at "wet lasagna." I didn't think I would be wiping iced tea off my screen tonight, yet here we are.
wet lasagna lolzzzzzzzzz
Great move making the Vinyl floor a option across all the trim levels.
The HD truck wars are hilarious! Trying to justify a $60K+ price tag for a Freaking pickup truck makes me just laugh.
No kidding! Before you know it, these beasts will be at the $100K range. That's why the HD market is so competitive- there's lots of profit to be made.
I'm taking the Silverado
The different cabs between the 150's and super duties is what I really liked. Basically they're saying "we got really cheap and just used the same can from the 150's"
Great job Andre! I always enjoy watching your reviews, keep up the great work.
This is growing on me! Very attractive truck!!
best truck on the market at the moment , haters gonna hate !
They forgot to compare the Tundra HD. Oh wait, nevermind. lol
toyota* at least be semi right
juan cacer makes no sense
+SteelCity1981 tundra is light duty... so technically they would call their "HD" call it something else. Since we don't know what though it would be toyota HD like ford's super duty.
+juan cacer Well Chevy calls their light and heavy duty trucks both Silverado. It's possible, and likely that it would be called Tundra HD. So you're wrong.
+Cory R has 2500 badging i rhink idk enough to care and I'm not wrong nor right because we just don't know.
that guys shirt is the best. looks like his interpretation of what a truck guy wears.
you guys should do 1500 work truck wars get the cheapest trucks they sell and compare them just like these
Also hilarious to say aluminum provides better dent resistance. Compared to what, butter?
And to add another thing. That's definitely what you want in the rear end of a rwd truck... Less weight. Hah you'll be spinning the tires at 1/4 throttle
It actually is. There are videos out there showing them hitting the bed with a hammer. It makes a divot right where it got hit but thats all. With the steel bed it makes a dent then the metal will have a couple creases pretty far from the point of impact.
Not to mention it's about 25% more expensive to fix a dent on aluminum
+Trevor Thomas They normally just throw away parts and replace them these days.Gone are the days of a actual body man that fixes..
+Jason1Pa depends on how bad the damage is. I've made a great career out of PaintLess Dent Repair. Alot of damage can be fixed but it is certainly much harder working with aluminum.
I feel like if I had this truck and tied it to my house, I could have a mobile home.
edi.wow
Succ
Boys and girls, this is the logic of a Ford guy in action.
logic of a chevy guy is to come to a ford video and talk shit
this originally wasnt a "ford" video the thumbnail fucks you up
I'm digging that F450! Love the new look. They are practically make these new trucks idiot proof.
Bout time Ford stepped out of the 1920s and offered a fully boxed frame.
GM hasn't changed in forever either.
+Logan Anderson sometimes that's a good thing as the 6.6 Duramax is a far more reliable engine the a 6.7 power stroke.
+snooplikesbacon look it up and you'll see the power stroke is better
The power stroke is not better. The duramax has countless reliability awards as its over 10 years old. The 6.7 has tons of problems or had which isn't good for reliability
+snooplikesbacon fuck government motors and their Isuzu built durashit.
I'll stick with the Cummins because of the fact that it's the most reliable and longest lasting diesel in it's class
Ford is the best truck and car company out there no on can comes close to them
Chevy
+Andrew Draxlar why because they can't stay afloat them selfs so they need to take tax payer money
best part is how he went to test the Ford for acceleration and it took awhile to get moving. These trucks are claimed to have all this power/torque, but infact the trucks that are tested for the "horsepower race" vs the ones you buy are different. I'm more of a GM guy but I really like the aluminum body Ford put on this generation F-150. I wish my rusty Pontiac had an aluminum body lol
Has anyone else noticed that ford only talks about the f450? They don't say anything about the f250 or f350 because they can't compete with the Chevy and Ram. Instead of paying that much money for the f450, I would buy a brand new one ton duramax and put a solid axle under the front
GMC SIERRA lmao yet the f350 beats the chevy 3500 at towing test
I love this Channel cause I live in Denver and I drive over Eisenhower a couple times a month
The vid was highly misleading. For all of Ford's "class-best" stats, you must get the F450, which is not a competitor to a Chevy 3500 or Ram 3500. Even that hitch that they showed was for F450.
So, the amount of times you have to turn the steering wheel determines weather or not a truck is good?
So they added 3-6 inches to the cab, but did they take that from elsewhere? Or is the truck longer? I like my Crew Cab with 8 foot bed, but I really can't handle anything longer!
I like the ran, silverado and the f250 . Would buy all of them.
Ram*
Once again Fords competition is left in the dust!
Lol that's a funny joke
You do realize that Ram hasn't introduced their 2017 yet. You cannot compare a 2016 to a 2017.
TheTypicalGamer
Redundant. Ram isn't due for a major update till 2018 with the heavy duty models.
As usual
Thats an awesome truck. Looks great.
Can you guys do a video on SRW 1 ton 4x4 trucks max towing for gooseneck and bumper pull
guess what I was at the Mile High Stadium while you guys were filming this
Would like to know what they have to say about Galvanic Corrosion and if they are doing anything to prevent it.
And when you hit 61 mph, you'll find that our new super duty comes with the death wobble option. We like it so much that in a few years we're just gonna call the truck the Tremor.
congrats ford, you finally redesigned the cab after 20 years
I know this is a video on ford but that duramax took off like a rocket
How fast did the Chevy go in the acceleration area?
I'd like to see that adhesive at 2:25 take to weight of the front of the truck! There's very little weight in the back compared to the front with the engine and trans..!
waiting to see the ike gauntlet and MPG testS (yes, plural. please do one unladen and one with a load!) that will be coming out!
Glad to get power numbers but what's up with the trans? Still a 6 speed auto?
but does this truck have locking differentials? or even lsd just as long is its not an open dif
Lol... what are all the aluminum Ford haters gonna do when their brand finally gets aluminum in 18 or 19?
THEY WILL ALL FORGET ABOUT IT OR LIE THEY NEVER SAID THAT.NOTICE HOW MANY TIMES FORD IS FIRST WITH AN IDEA OR TECHNOLOGY, AND EVERYONE BASHES THEM UNTIL THEIR BRAND COPIES IT? THEN ITS COOL.
+fobxman actually an aluminum f150 full of marines ran over a land mine in Afghanistan and all walked away without a scratch. I bet you chevy or dodge isn't mine proof.
+Jake Bergren Give me the article my man.
im calling bullshit i what pics
+austin gunter I can't find the link to it but I recall seeing something about it recently
HD truck owners don't want TPMS. Check out any Superduty forum and you'll find tons of complaints. Plus it adds to to the cost and complication of tire replacement/rotation.
Hated fords since they started putting 6.0s in em but god damn that's a beautiful truck and those specs are that of a damn semi
is it true they are putting the fuel filter in the gas sending pump now?
The true king Ford is the best
Andre, would you contact Putin, and tell him to cut it out? And, if he doesn't, you're going to buy an atomic foot long burrito at the truck stop, and mail him an atomic fart in the box.
what did putin do?
Putin is the man. Fuck Hillary
+john edwards All that meddling in international affairs, only the U.S. is allowed to do this. That's our gig. He should go back to providing charity to the world, where he is at his best.
+Troy Strain yea shame on russia for moving such a big country close to our military bases. lol. its insane.
+john edwards Maybe, this world should be renamed "Insanity", because the inability of the people of this planet to get along because of false and real cultural issues is counterintuitive to life itself. Pride, even to false ideals above all else, is a historical status quo. Us and them to the bitter end.
so we compare a 2017 f450 vs 2016 Chevy/dodge 3500? most fair comparison yet
F450 is only about $3000 more than a similarly- equipped F350.
+Bigtruck Bob not talking about price bud. Different towing numbers power numbers etc
Hmmmmm 😂
But will it last pas 60,000 miles without a complete rebuild?
finally, some freakin numbers. go ford!
@1:10 Why didn't call him out on the aluminum dent resistance ?
Concerned about the steering...i couldn't drive anything if i know it'll try to correct my turning with a trailer...i been in so many situations where you gotta jack it around.
Love Fords Progressive Program.
That's a beautiful truck
Why are the towing specs for a 2017 F250 SRW CrewCab 4X4 Power Stoke fifth wheel less than the 2016 model? 2016 is 15,100 and the 2017 is 14,700. I had understood that the 2017 had more tow/haul capacity.
Chevy and Ram have a TON of catching up to do
Tfl i want to know why Ford doesn't use a one piece bed like dodge and chevy do?
That aluminum is going to be a major problem here in a few years with major wrecks because it tears apart
The new super duty is great... If your buying it just to tow a camper two or three times a year. If you need all those assists you don't have any business towing large trailers. I will commend them on the actual improvements they have made to make this truck perform better though.
When will those videos for new 250 be out? I know you said very soon so wondering if you guys know when you are getting one.
Just saw some RUST at 1:41. Maybe Ford should've powder-coated the entire under body of the truck as well?
Ford's new pet word: "Reinvest"
the 6.8 v10 needs to be in more trucks
nice truck, love it
does Toyota have a heavy duty truck in the works?I know they are in with Cummings, so is Nissan, but does that mean a HD is in the future?
Ford might of finally done a bullet proof truck. The body won't rust I hope the frame doesn't the 6.7 powerstroke is very reliable and it's been out since 2011.
Just better hope that adhesive holds up!
haha
Actually salt is very corrosive to aluminum, yes it won't rust, but the aluminum will get eaten away really fast if they don't coat it. But what if you get a rock chip in that coating?
Yeah the ones 2000-2010 weren't great.
Finally beginning to like the fords better, I always did like the v12 though
Aluminum oxidizes. It turns into a hard shell that prevents corrosion. What is sand paper made of? Aluminum oxide. Steel rusts unless coated, then you get chips and it rusts under the paint. There is no winning
Is there a market for electric motors in trucks? hybrids?
i still prefer the old door handles & front look too , why couldn't they just keep these 2 features at least & why no information on the 6.8 V10 ? i think it should be available as crate engine too .
Why do you want the v10 it's bad on gas the 6.2 is better or the 6.7 is better if you can afford it.
+Dodge 318 Cummins because 10 is bigger then 8 and no one else has one in class
+Drace Provost didn't they used to have a v12 too
Also my uncles v10 with a shift kit and a chip is awesome and he can work it to get decent gas mileage
+Dodge 318 Cummins as I always say when you buy a pick up truck you don't care about mpg too or in first place much specially a heavy/super duty trucks but I just wanted to know the specs specially with that new 7 speed auto transmission
+Tmanthekid no they didn't have v12 however the V10 makes 470 torque & 360 hp
That red is nice!
The last gen super duty trucks looks sooooo much better. The only thing that looks better is the tail lights
A Ford test facility highlights what it's truck will do better correct?
Cant wait to see one of those fords on a the back of tow truck
Haters guna hate but Ford will always have the better truck
Very nice ad for Ford, compare 2017 Ford against 2016 GM and Dodge. That's 15 minutes I'll never get back.
Thumbs up!! Nice truck
getting one next year.
This wasn't a showdown! It was just a big damn Ford commercial.
if you drop a tool box in the bed will it make a hole like f -150 bed
That's a damn nice truck
seems like the bed would be the spot you wouldnt wanna skimp on weight. traction is already hard to come by as it is.
