Great job, Ryan! Looked like a fun time and your lines looked great generally. As for the tires, you should be able to find the max pressure on the sidewall. Also, what I used to do was put a spot of white shoe polish on the tire in a few spots near the tread/sidewall interface to see how far over the tire was rolling. Generally you want the scuff mark to end right where the two meet, so it appears yours were way too low. An air tank is a good thing to bring, HF sells them. Glad to see you really enjoyed the day! Thank you Bill! Yes, I need to do a little better job of checking my tire pressure and definitely should not have aired down my street tires. It was a good lesson learned. I have a Milwaukie cordless air pump and it worked pretty well to air them back up at the end of the day. I will keep bringing that with me. It was a great day and I learned a lot.
@Mclovingarage eh, it was your first time out, you did great. The first year or so will be a constant stream of "I need to bring that/do that next time".
Thank you for putting that together, Ryan. Awesome video! Happy that you thoroughly enjoyed your experience at our WMC Novice School and Driver Skills Clinic! Share, Share, Share! 😉
I’ll do my best to share it all over! Feel free to share it as well! Thank you for the hard work and putting it together. It was a super friendly way to get started in Autocross. Thank you for watching!
Great video! Thanks for sharing your first autocross experience! You did a great job of getting more aggressive and smoothing out your inputs. You improved your line over the course of your runs, too. It was clear that you could feel how the correct line and the right input timing allowed you to find more speed. And you got more comfortable with the car on every run. The fundamentals you learned at the school will serve you well going into your first points event. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your autocross videos!
Great. I autocross these Mustangs also.
Cool experience, something I've always wanted to try. Thanks for a great video.

Thank you very much! Appreciated all the help all day long. It was a fantastic day with good people.
And you thought your days of parking lot cone patterns were behind you! 😂
Great video Ryan, thanks for sharing!
Haha! I am glad I am not done in the cones. Some of my favorite times!
