Hands down one of the best Mustangs ever produced. An absolute legend.
the best **
THE* best
What they said, not one of, THE best
I agree, but the dash is ugly though.
Not a real mustang 😂
This is 100% the best display of this car on this website. No talking and straight to business
Thank you sir!
No lie
Have you had any issues with yours dying when you come off of a load? My idle will lope when I’m not on the throttle especially when coming to a stop sometimes it will catch itself but many times it will die. It always starts right back up. I heard other say there could be an update to the ECM so I had that done at Ford but it didn’t change anything. No check engine lights or any other issues that I can see.
maybe your air idle control valve needs cleaning or replaced?
@@KyleSVT hey, I appreciate your quick response. This was already replaced. It didn’t make a difference. If I find out what it is, I’ll be sure to return and comment. Thank you.
32 valves, dual exhaust and a blower, the ultimate symphony.
One of the best cars I have ever driven. Damn, the stick, the supercharger, the exhaust, you actually feel like you are part of the car. I can still imagine my feet as I downshift giving a quick little rev and throwing it back in gear. One of my favorite parts of driving this car. This car needs no music, it has its own soundtrack.
Not lying when I say this. You and your channel are the reason I got into the new edge mustangs especially the Terminator, and its the reason I own one today so thank you
Thanks for watching my videos man!
@@KyleSVT Anytime Kyle! You make great videos
Thanks I really appreciate it
You had to watch a RUclips channel to get you into new edge mustangs? It took that much?
All it took for me was sitting at a stop light and a sonic blue Terminator rolling up and driving right in front of me...a 3 second interaction ruined me! Lol.
All joking aside, it's great to hear people still love the New Edge and especially the Terminator.
This dude is probably the most popular terminator owner on RUclips due to the sickest , I mean meanest RUclips vids I've ever seen...Doope😊
I sold my 2003 terminator and bought a 2013 GT500. Both amazing vehicles but the terminator was just pure raw power and it felt so damn good!
One of the best-sounding cars of all time. Old school iron block 4.6 with a supercharger.
4.6 4v
@@JayNayMayOk
@@JayNayMayit’s still a 4.6 the engine people love to hate
03 had iron block and 04 was aluminum??
both years Iron block
That shifter looks crispy asf. Everytime you shifted there looked to be absolute 0 slop, beautiful
MGW shifter in the car and the T56 the shifter is directly bolted to the trans no extra linkages
@@KyleSVT Gorgeous man, thing looks and sounds fantastic!
Thank you sir!
Ok, this has got to be the best POV car video I have ever seen.
Thank you!
I'm new To Mustangs and this channel. What is POV stand for?
@@anythingadrenaline4515 Point of View. Its a style of video. As if you are driving/riding first person in a car
one of the best sounding cars ever made. i was in love with these when i was young. no fancy shit. just basic controls a steering wheel and hella juice.
You sir, showcased the variety of lovely sounds the termi makes very well. Pure, raw nostalgia.
Thank you
Me with a terminator watching someone drive a terminator
I bet it makes you want to go out and row some gears
Music to my ears. Took delivery of my 1st one back in 12/02, but had to sell within about a year. Got my 2nd, 03 DSG in 2012 with only 15k on it, 100% stock (never pullied). Just did a tune, exhaust, intake and springs, along with AFS chrome replica 18s. Daily drove it for two years. Drive it once in a while now. Sits at 50k miles. Turns heads whenever I take it out. Favorite car of all time, not even close.
I have driven two of them. They exceeded my expectations. One of the most fun and engaging vehicles ever produced. This is coming from a Mopar guy.
That rev matching makes my heart pitter-patter.
Heel and toe downshifts are an art form when done correctly. This guy can obviously drive. Good call. 🤙
@@graysinclair6572 fr dude aint miss a shift might as well be driving an auto how clean he is with it
I really can't express how great the audio is in this video. I firmly believe that if you did this style of video for many other cars people would thoroughly enjoy it!
Thanks for noticing! That would be fun to film other cars too
That first pull onto the highway was a thing of exquisite beauty. Like angels singing! Huge grin on my face :)
Those 4.6 DOHC engines are the best sounding generation of Mustang! I'm a Windsor guy too.
The 5.4L from the Ford GT and GT500s are my favorite sound
Nice to see someone drive a Mustang without silly burnouts and failed sideways moves👌
That's going to be a very expensive car one day in the fairly near future if it's kept at least close to original.
I'm not a Mustang guy but cars from '90s including this one are growing on me, this one is beautiful🤩
End of the 90s. More of a 00's car
This has to be one of the best videos I've ever watched. The first word that comes to mind is "peaceful". No talking, no music, just engine, exhaust, and that beautiful supercharger whine. Thank you.
When the 03-04 cobra came out i was 17-18 years old and absolutely fell in love with that sound! To this day it is the most unique sounding mustang you will ever hear from its time! To this day i still yearn to have one but now ive grown old and see it as a beautiful piece of history and a fat waste of money lol
You’ve “grown old” in your 30s? Wow.
Mate you’re 40
Nothin compares to the Eaton blowers in those cars man. To me they are one of the best sounding superchargers out there
I do love the heaton scream. The Kenneth bell 2.2 sound good too.
Idk man, the 3.4 Whipple sounds absolutely mean. Wish i had the money for one, but the ported Eaton will work lol
@@CoiledTermi I think the gen3r is a badass blower. If you got it pullied fairly aggressively making at least 18-19 psi or better yet 20+ if you got fuel good enough to do so safely they also sound very good. It doesn't scream as loud as the stock Eaton because it's way more efficient but make no mistake they let their presence be known lol. I'm pushing 20 psi on my 07 gt500 with a gen3r I need to get some nice in car videos like this done. I got some with the stock m122 but haven't gotten any good videos since the gen3r. They're badass blowers that can make some big time power while fitting under the stock hood without mods. For the money the gen3r is the best blower available imo. It's great on stock motor cars and can make 1000+ on built motor cars.
@@KyleSVTagreed. 2 best sounding blowers.
This may be the best POV driving video I’ve ever seen. So well done man! Absolutely perfect.
The GOAT, the early 2000's Ford was was stone cold kicking ass! John Coletti and the boys engineered a beast.
I can see that brake kit piles on the stopping power quite well lol. Great vid Kyle, love these!
Thanks dude!
this man is doing gods work shooting in cabin driving footage with a RED camera. more please
Still remains my dream car to this day. Great sound man! My Roush axle backs and o/r x pipe sound mean for sure, but nothing comes close to the tone of a 4v 4.6.
Thanks man!
15 seconds in this went on my favorite POVs playlist lol. Audio & visual quality are incredible. Sick video.
Thank you!
I rode in a gently modded 96 mystic for years and I owned a 01 GT drop top and this video was an excellent reminder of what that life was like.
I could watch this video all day and it always puts a smile on my face. Love my 2004 Terminator Convertible
Always wanted an 03-04 cobra as a kid in high school but couldn't ever afford one. I ended up finding an 01 bullitt and drove that for a few years until I blew it up. Did an SLP lm2 exhaust, H&R SS springs, Steeda short throw shifter with a pistol grip Hurst handle. Was a blast to drive with just those mods...especially as an 18-22 year old kid.
Thanks for the great ride along! I drive a 2012 Boss 302 with Borla pipes, which is an amazing ride, but totally admire the performance and supercharger whine of the 2003 and 2004 Terminators.
I listen to this in my headphones while doing mechanical design at work daily. Better than ANY music.
Thanks brother!
The terminators were by far the coolest cars Ford ever made. Raw, visceral, extremely powerful for their day. As a teenager, a Ferrari, Lamborghini, or whatever could pass by and I'd be like "cool", but every Termi I saw was like a whole event for me, lol. Nothing else in the world sounds like that supercharged DOHC 4.6.
I loved my 04 ported Eaton Cobra. Best driving experience of my life.
It’s always nice to see vids of people properly rev matching.
When I was stationed at Ft Knox a dude in my neighborhood had a blue one. I lived 2 blocks from him and could hear every time he started it and left. I loved that car.
One of the best car POV's that I ever watched on youtube, perfect angle for the camera, good driving skills and my god... those shifts , pure pleasure for the ears, Well done !
Thank you sir!
Best cobra channel on yt ! I always appreciate that you make everything in 4k !
Thanks dude!
and interventions sonic blue cobra is my fav 🤩
Having the non-supercharged version of that car and motor it is a lot of fun and sounds awesome. It is because I drove the car that I now own that changed me from a Mustang New Edge is ok to I FREAKING LOVE THIS CAR! Thanks for the video.
That exhaust is so beautiful. I can't get enough of that whine too.
this is one of the best sounding car videos ive ever heard. you have very good sound engineering skills and im sure there would be plenty of people who pay well for your skillset. keep it up, your car sounds great, and i bet the drive is even better!
Thanks man! I really appreciate that. Glad you liked it
I don'y know what I like hearing more, The exhaust or the eaton! 🤤
the camera angle is absolutely killer, keep it up!
Thanks Lucas!
Great car. Great driving. Love to see that these are still being driven by competent owners who appreciate the driving experience and aren't just doing highway pulls followed by putting it in neutral like ding-dongs.
Well you nailed it here man! And the car sounds so good down low! Really deep!
Thanks!
Great video!
Love the audio quality…..could listen to that blower whine all day….👊🏻
Thanks Jason!
Have the torch red ‘03 anniversary edition, myself. Just crossed 80k miles. Still a blast to drive!
Enjoyed the video! 👍
This gave me THE chills! I got goosebumps just by listening to it! Thank you :)
This is up there on sound with the LFA and hellcat. That supercharger whine and angry v8 sound is amazing
I had a 03 GT with some minor work and what I thought was great exhaust, until hearing this thing, WOW!
The overrun is really nice. Almost gentlemanly.
I always come back to this vid when my cobras at the shop lmao 😅 it gives me the fix I need!
Awesome quality and sound!
Thank you!
Thanks for the ride, I enjoyed it.
In my opinion this car is an icon!!! This will always be my favorite mustang cobra. It lives to make power!!!!
This car is my childhood. The terminator will always be the most special mustang to me. And will always be my dream car.
Great great video!!!!! Awesome car, shifting, no bs, great editing! Awesome!
Thank you!
I dont know why but this video brought me great happiness thank you bro
I had an ‘01 cobra. Wasn’t a terminator but still an awesome car. I never drove it with the radio on, just windows down so I could listen to that engine rumble. I’d love to get another one someday..
Absolutrly love that whining sound from the supercharger on top of that thoaty engine and snarling exhaust note. Motoring ecstasy.
love the ride along view, can taste the power
im not american but... now i got the feeling.... this thing is badass!
I love this video, straight to the point
My brother had a sonic blue 03 with the Bassani X pipes and upgraded supercharger belt. The sound of the exhaust and whine was like nothing else
My uncle just built a similar motor minus the supercharger still doing 400+ hp lots of fun awesome sound
just wow what a fantastic car and video, amazing sound and power. just awestruck and in love with this car
Man this makes me miss my Cobra! Ive had many cars but there's nothing like rowing the gears and hearing the supercharger whine!!
My buddies brother had one. He passed away but they just left it out in their garage collecting dust Even had nitrous All black on black 2004. I’m glad we never talked him into driving it because we would have wrecked it but man hopefully it eventually got driven. It didn’t even have marks on the rotors. All fresh and new. This was probably 2010 when I seen it last. He bought it brand new I believe. By far top 5 coolest sounding cars.
My all time favorite mustang the terminator Cobra and the V8 sounds awesome.
what a beautiful landscape to drive through
Best mustangs ever built. Never forget the time when I first saw one on a hot summer day at a car show. Timeless without a doubt.
There’s just something so menacing about that SC sound 🤘🏻.
God the sound of a good ol' v8 with the supercharger in the background. Classic
Absolutely worth every second of my time to watch this 🤧
cannot wait to get one of these bad boys
Definitely putting one of these on my list.
i’ve been learning how to drive stick with my dad so that one day i can get a manual mustang like this. everything about it just looks insanely fun
I had no idea this video would be so awesome
Thanks for the two channel soundtrack! All that Pony is lacking is me being it's new Dad and a slightly larger throttle valve. SWEET Mowsheen 😉
great sound, favorite mustang. i love how bro blurred the spedo so people cant roast him for still only doing the speed limit despite flooring it lol
This is wild! I was enjoying the video and looking at the pictures at the end, and did a huge double take at the Soerens license plate bracket at 8:33… I used to be a technician there, it was my first shop out of tech school before I moved to Arizona. Small world. Bad ass cobra man! I have a ‘99. Cheers.
Thanks brother! Very cool!
Could watch this over and over
Great video Kyle. As always.
Thanks Bruce!
I remember seeing a Terminator with the paint that shifts it was absolutely beautiful
OMG, sounds so freakin awesome man
Thanks dude!
Coming from a 2006 cobalt ss coupe supercharged 5spd manuel I definitely can see myself having fun with this
When they are highly modified like this one, they sound great. My stock one I had and sold sounded nothing like this one!
Music to my ears! I love the sound of the terminator Cobra 🐍 ❤❤
The sound is awesome, love watching this video.. wishing I had one right now.
Thanks!
God, what an incredible car. I have a FBO Coyote S197 that's a riot in itself, but these Termis just do it for me.
Not sure how, this video gave insight in how clutches work. Which I've been trying to understand how to know when and how to shift
just bought a new edge GT. thanks for this
These cars have some of the most durable motors ever produced. The stock internals can reliably handle 600hp
More than that, the internals are forged
0:44-0:52 is the epitome of a 4.6L DOHC SUPERCHARGED V8 "friendly fire" symphony i remember these were terrorizing the streets of Dallas TX 2002 my junior year of high school. Proud ford Man here will die a ford man
Ripping around my area! Great video
Thanks!
The one mustang i ever really coveted. Looks like it shifts like butter 💯
The greatest pov drive video in the galaxy!!
Thanks!
@@KyleSVT np
Great video sound is on point
the "remove before flight" strap reminds me of my pops :)
I’ll never forget the night dad and I test drove mine. I was thinking about getting a Mach 1 and the dealership that had it was being an ass about the trade in and jacking up the price on it. One night my mom and dad got into it and so dad was like they’ve got one of those new supercharged Cobra’s over at another dealership, let’s check it out.
Long story short took the Cobra for a test drive. Got out on the interstate and let it have it. Immediately dad was like “You know after this you will never be happy with that Mach 1.” 😂
This October will be 22 years of ownership. 😁 Loved every minute.
The wonderful thing about this car is you can put cat-back on it, Stingers in my case, without doing anything else to it and it sounds like you’re driving a stock car with a blower on it.
