@@MimieBatte, you have been taken by blue Eyed soul. That term was created just for them, because of them. They created something that is ageless. No one can compare to them right now. If you want to hear something that is also ageless, get into Louis Armstrong, he is a Jazz musician but he also sings. He played the trumpet from the 1920's to when he died, I think in the '70's. But his most memorable song was "Wonderful World " it's just so great. Listen to it when he sings it live, it'll completely floor you.

@@MimieBatte , you can't explain Blue Eyed Soul. They were so perfect. People don't have words for it. That's why when they first played in front of a black audience, they were first booed. When they finished singing, someone in the audience cried out they were "Righteous brothers ". That is where they actually got the name for the group. And now you know how much they were appreciated after people began to really listen to them.

I can't help but notice how women today are not use to this kind of music. It sends them into another place and time. It's sad that so much music today has degenerated into a very dark place. Another group that touches the soul from a few years later was the Carpenters try Superstar or Solitaire or This Masquerade. You won't be disappointed.

When they started as a duo Bobby Hatfield had the tenor voice and Bill Melody was the baritone voice they shouldn't have blended together but they did and it was pure magic They went on for decades singing together. This song was played more than any other song in American Radio and T.V history. No other song has surpassed it in the 20th century. They were also known as The Blue Eyed Soul Bros because they sang from their hearts and souls every performance. 💙

I love that you put comments instead of talking through. BTW : Bill Medley sang (Time of my life) with Jennifer Warnes for the movie Dirty Dancing. Great reaction so I'm checking out a few more of yours. Well done!

I love the fact that you let the song play and didn’t keep pausing to comment, great reaction.

Gotta remember that this was long before digital editing and auto-tune; they had to nail it in one shot.

True brilliance, a masterpiece by two artists. Their songs will never be matched especially with today's "wanna be" singers.

You've Lost That Loving Feeling is quite possibly the cross cultural high-water mark for pop music of the 60's and 70's. Of coarse Michael Jackson had something to say about that in the 80's. Mimi, that was simply beautiful. Thank you for sharing, RNB

I really wish there were more of this style of music being recorded. These guy had it nailed. Lyrics voices slow tempo, really great in a very musical and touching way. No autotune or any electronic tricks. Just talent.
