You can send your ecu or you can get a spare one and also like clonetrooper said you can use EK1 which is a tuner device to upload a tune to your car directly
@@PolishBullitt Just a simple stage 1 flash makes the car more peppy and first gear useless haha, absolutely love it! I know there's alot of options out there but if you ever move forward to flash, you won't regret it!
@burblen7818 I’m sure it does haha I would like to see how this thing stacks up against tunes and other competition, that’s why I have to take it to the dyno
Nice man.. looking forward to updates for this. I’m thinking of getting something similar for boost. Octane learning is a bit annoying n doesn’t last 🙄 Good to see you again, I hope all is well.
Thanks brother just figuring out some things in my life at the moment 🙂 yes I will definitely do more testing cause I’m curious myself and hopefully I can take my baby to the track one last time before the winter 😉
Yeah def interested.. I know it doesn’t affect the warranty, until something breaks, then they’ll do a diagnostic and see that I’ve had a tune. Then the warranty is void. That’s the only thing holding me back fr getting one.
In the instrument cluster, does it show it go to 23 or 24lbs of boost? If so, include that in your next video. I'd like to see that. It has me very intrigued. The octane learning is so annoying!
No it doesn’t show it’s still regular 15-16psi no OL or 18-19psi with OL cause this piggyback lies to your ecu that it produces less boost so it compensate for it haha but it pulls hard ngl
Yea my EN dct is my daily driver so im not trying to go crazy cause reliability. You got me wanting to try it out now lol wonder what cars you can beat now with the piggyback tune
Haha I 100% get it brother same like me 😉 I will make sure everybody got full info and numbers plus what you can run with it so we can compare with other cars, but I suspect it can be close to new Mustang GT S650 😉
Nice video man!😊 I do have a question I was hoping maybe you could answer. I just got my 23 EN 3 days ago. I have been constantly stepping on gas everychance I get. I forgot abt the engine break-in. Am I at risk of serious damage? I’m really stressing😅
Haha you couldn’t resist huh? Haha they usually recommend some kind of mileage to break in you engine but honestly those are not oldschool engines anymore so if you not banging it from rev limiter daily then I don’t think you should be worrying about damaging your engine just make sure you change your oil often 😉
@klasseact6663 you can log all engine parameters. 5 different maps. Including custom tuning map6. Digital gauges. Options for different fuel. I'm using map 4 e30 24psi on my veloster N.
I assume you are in Europe cause I don’t think we got those engines in US unless different model. There might be a similar option like that, but how our piggyback works is they raise boost so you need a turbo obviously and it seems like your engine is non turbo
Yo, hope all is good with you! Couple questions. Did you change or re-gap your spark plugs when you did the install? If not, have you experienced any misfires? Thanks!
Yeah I know there’s few companies that uses that system but they all got their own tune in it that what I have been told, I watched bunch of racechip videos and that helped me to decide honestly haha 😉
Yo brotha, have another question for ya. Do you ever experience any misfires or issues when you’re running “stock” boost levels with the upgraded plugs due to the difference in the gapping? Did you leave the new plugs gapped as they came? Or did you close the gap further? Thanks!
Hey brother what’s up 🙂 No I don’t experience any misfires with different plugs, I remember I gaped them to around .026 and everything seems to work good even without using my piggyback with “stock tune” Do you have any problems with yours?
@@PolishBullitt Thanks for the quick response and Info. I have not installed my JB4 yet. Just received the HKS M45XL plugs today. However, I was doing some research that suggested, spark plug fouling could result when using non stock gapped plugs while running stock boost levels. Maybe I am overthinking it. I know the HKS M45XL are made specifically for the 2.0T N cars so that may be what alleviates the issue. I guess I will know for sure when I install everything. Thanks again brotha and hope all is good with ya!
@rockysobekbeats 100% brother no problem 😉 I’m running NGK’s not HKS’s but I don’t think that should be a problem, I literally have plugs and 0w40 Mobil 1 oil in my car and 90% of the time I’m on stock settings meaning piggyback is off completely plus I did the oil analysis at blackstone and everything looks great except slightly higher level of fuel in the oil 2,5% instead of 2% after 4000 miles including some racing, dyno day and winter time settings, so yeah I think you should be ok haha
@@PolishBullitt Oh nice. Was going to go with the NGK’s myself, however because the dudes at BMS and SXTH recommended the HKS I went with those. I heard the 2 are similar. Glad to hear the everything is running well! Are you running 0w-40 vs 30 cause of the colder weather where you are? Do you think you will opt for a catch can? Oh one more thing, when running tune boost levels, do you experience any DCT slip from the extra HP?
@rockysobekbeats yeah I’m sure those plugs are similar 🙂 I’m running 0w40 cause of the extra performance so I don’t overheat the oil, but honestly it never happened to me, cause I don’t beat on my car all the time haha If it comes to DCT I didn’t notice any slippage so far and I should be around 340whp and 360tq on dynojet

I was lucky enough to have ridden shotgun in Marsin's car this past Sunday...it pulls HARD! Luckily him and I will be in Mexico around the same time so we can "test" his Stillen TruControl and exhaust against my N75 Stage 1 ECU tune and Shark 🦈 Racing TIP & N Performance intake...stay "tuned" indeed🏁🏁
Haha I want to make a video about it when Im done with Christmas craziness plus I want to dyno my car with Stillen exhaust and piggyback next Friday hopefully to see what kind of power those parts make. Honestly I don’t think there’s anything wrong using either of them, my experience so far with Stillen are very positive, piggyback is super easy to use. Normally I drive with my piggyback back off and if I see there might be something going on or Im racing you just press 2 buttons and you good to go 💪😉
@EN_Kenn that’s exactly what Im doing haha only thing is that you have to run different spark plugs and I used 0w40 oil for add performance so I don’t burn regular 0w30 or 5w30 that I used previously. I use EK1 with STAGE 2 from N75. Daily driven for 10,000km with tune now no issues. Definitely worth it.
I agree, those tune’s seems to work pretty good on our cars N75 or Lap3 is the way to go if you looking for a full blown ECU tune
Interesting 🤔
@RedLine_90 😉
I would have to send my ecu out correct?

ECU tune cures this and other issues, same price as piggyback
