@@aarne602this is real,but it wasn’t explained great. You have to specifically buy a copy in one of those eShops. So if you have a switch with a Japanese account, for example, you could buy the game on the Japanese account through the Japanese eShop and play it early.

So many of the random things in this game feel like “royalty free zelda”. Like for most of the game, ganon is just called the “blue guy”, Link has the “sword of might”, and i think the triforce is called the “prime energy” or some shit.
Yeah, for the past few games, the Zelda series has tiptoed around naming things what they're called. (Although that isn't the Master Sword, so calling it the Sword of Might makes plenty of sense.)

It's interesting how Zelda and the king call Link "the swordsman in green" and Ganon "fell beast". This implies Zelda and the rest of Hyrule don't know Link nor even Ganon. In every Zelda game where Ganon existed, the royal family at least knew about him before meeting Link. But this time, Ganon is completely foreign to them. Just Link and Ganon seem to know each other which is very interesting because now I want to know the backstory between them if Hyrule and Zelda aren't even involved here. This suggests that Ganon kidnapped Zelda (without knowing her) just as a bait trap to get Link to walk up to Ganon so he can end Link. You clearly notice this from his laughter when he dies. This Ganon is a genius.
5:06 He sounds like Kronk here Also, 10:57 there are multiple slime enemies in the series, chu-chus are usually the ones in the 3D games like WW and BotW, and zols are the ones in the top-down games. There are exceptions, like the Minish Cap, which has chu-chus despite being top-down.

this game did something very similar to splatoon 3 with its intro: you start very powerful, setting off to fight past some fairly easy enemies, eventually facing off against the final boss from previous games. this boss is very easy, and the game only really starts afterwards.

The more a game bends, the harder it is to actually break. When the dev intended method is literally just "do whatever you want, it'll probably work" its really hard to do stuff they didnt intend. Cheesing with beds? Intentional. Walking over an entire forest? Intentional. Scaling sheer cliff faces and walls? Intentional. Obtaining super strong echoes early? Intended.

That infinite height thing requires a wall to be up against; if water isn't attached to any ground or walls or non-echoed water it will disappear.

The old bed is genuinely travel meta. You can stack them like stairs, and use them to get to places otherwise impossible to reach
