There's neat little mirrors of the surface, inversions of it, and plenty of stuff to find and defeat down there. Hyrule itself isn't all interesting stuff either. There has to be boring stuff between the interesting stuff.

1 year later, one of my favorite things about this game is that every streamer independently came up with the idea to torture koroks. They weren’t copying each other, everyone came up with it on day one before learning everyone else was doing it too. Like how every country invented beer before learning that every other country also invented beer.
The puzzles, the sheilds, the exploration. Watching a streamer who is actually smart enough to understand and try out most things in the first stream is dope. SMARTANT 🐜

Same it is the ultimate strategy. If you have 2 platforms you can go back and forth and get super high. Just stand on one life rhe other up stand on the other rewind lift the other up while being lifted up repeat

You can see how a lot of this stuff would have made sense as DLC alterations to certain quests in regular botw.

I noticed that sprinting takes more stamina, swimming takes less, and bullet time takes stamina if you fire. It's definitely an improvement.
If you fall from the air with no stamina into the water, you are given stamina instead of instantly drowning.

I love going back to this to see the initial reaction to all of TOTK's mechanics.
The moment when he made the minecart shield is when I realized how many possibilities there are and how much I need to get this game.
It opened up so many possibilities that i never even considered AND I WAS PLAYING IT
