Thanks for the tutorial. I appreciate the help in adding an effect I am used to on my PC with another program - but that is lost in the Mac version of that program (ACDSee). Photoshop has so many features - I feel as though I'll never learn it.

Daniel, I understand everything in your tutorial, It is very helpful, thanks. But the one thing I am having problem doing is getting the "Canvas Extension Color" to go white, I have a light grey box that will not let me click on a color. When I continue without a color, I get a checkered box. How to get the Canvas Extension Color box to open up? I tried googling it but am not able to find an answer. I am working on a Mac with PS CS6

I've commented previously saying it was excellent....now with the latest version of Photoshop CC - it won't let me copy the background layer like you have done, because its locked....Just like yours is in this video. Any reason for this? Also, when you create a new layer, it then locks that white background layer and unlocks the initial layer. Mine wont do this?
I've also just imported my action set from my old computer and installed it on the new one. Its exactly as this video shows and worked perfectly fine on my old laptop with the same Photoshop CC that is installed on this new PC. The action list is having the exact same problem I've described above. I have no idea why the instructions in this tutorial don't work now.....

Can you answer a question? I am getting ready to send some photos off to get printed. I have heard people sat TIF format is best and other say the other. I want my pictures to look the best? What do you recommend?

It worked very well in 1st photo but i tried in 2nd photo but it didn’t work. I mean that drop shadow option can use but effect on frame doesn’t work. I am wonder how it came. Please suggest.

You have to bring up Actions, 'create new action' which starts recording and allows you to name the action and set a keyboard shortcut, then perform everything that the video tells you to then click stop.

A tip, do not try this on rgb16, I was an hour and nothing happend, so I open the jpg file, instead than the raw from Lr.
