- In this tutorial, I’ll be showing you how you can create a signature watermark for your photos - for free. Plus, I’ll give you what I think are the ten best signature fonts to use for this task. This is a great way to create a logo for your photography. I’ll be showing you how to do it in Photoshop but you can use any programme that uses layers. I’ll then show you a much more professional way to create signature watermarks by using Lightroom and attaching it to a batch of images at once.
Not only is this really easy to do, it will instantly make your photos more professional! We hope you enjoy it 😊

I have watched almost seven or more youtube clips to learn how to create a signature in photoshop. None of them helped me to create a signature that I could add to my photos. Your clip was the BEST of them!!! Thank you very much for providing this information!!

Thank you Marc works great. Most helpful. I created the text in black and then created the png in a couple of different ways. I then created a brush for each. Now I just have to add a new blank layer, pick a color to suit the image.

One of the BEST videos on how to create signature / watermark for photographs... Honestly, I have seen numbers of videos on this topic but every time found something missing, something was not clear - something was not quite there... But this video was the answer... Outstanding work sir... I have created a beautiful signature in 3 colors (B,G and W) ... Now I simply love the my pictures with my new signature/watermark. Big Thank you!

Good tutorial. It's also possible, in Photoshop, to create a custom brush, and "stamp" it on a new layer on top of your photo. That way you can make it any color you want, resize it, and move it all around too.

Easy to follow and do.
In my photoshop save as doesn't have a png so a bit of scratching the head thinking export it, and gives a options to save as a png.
Job done.
P.s hate lightroom and always use photoshop.

Excellent tutorial, good sir! Thanks for taking the time to make these and help us newbies learn some of the basics! One question though: I've created my watermark in PS per your instructions and saved it to a common location on my hard drive, yet when I attempt to use it as a graphic in Lightroom, it's as if Lightroom doesn't see or recognize the PNG. Any suggestions?
Thanks Steve. To use them in Lightroom you need to learn about creating presets and exporting.
nice video! but how do you determine the place (and size) of the logo when you make the preset in Lightroom (before the mass export of all the pictures)?

When doing the batch process, couldn't find export in Lightroom cc. Found it in Classic though. Great tutorial.

I liked your video and followed it carefully, however at 7.34 I dont get that dialogue box, I just get a save box, but it saved as a 'psdc' file. After that I was unable to load it onto a photo. Click and drag did not work. Im using a mac and the latest version of Photoshop. Any suggestions? Please
