Just a minor correction: the current iterations of the Fox 2.0s don't require a spanner wrench. You just turn the lower collar by hand after compressing the spring and loosening its set screw. The Fox 2.5s require a 2.5 spanner wrench. Still, we strongly recommend using a wall or floor mounted spring compressor, as Noah stated.
I like how your videos are actually a real tech review and real world recommendations, and not just a sales pitch to stroke the manufacturer. As someone who is trying to learn what setup I want. Thank you.
Love the feed back brotha I think ima go with something a little better cause of the money you might as well spend a little more and have a better outcome so you definitely saved me money 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Awesome video! Thank you for this. I’m looking to keep a 3” lift and came across these for a good price but it seems I may not accomplish the lift I need. Thx again this was great help
Nice video. FWIW - lift doesn't increase the fit for larger tires on ifs. You're changing static height, not travel range. The same size tire that fits at 3" lift also fits at stock height.
Needing to replace my suspension on my 2019 and this kit is the only complete kit avail anywhere, hope I made the right choice. Anything has to be better than my current setup. Well see,
It will be still the same as stock because it has still the same leafspring from factory. But performance will be less because of bigger tires and stock gearing.
I’m in a 2010 prerunner daily driver with 110.000 miles. Looking to replace the stock shocks and leafs. Not doing any off roading at all and not necessarily looking to lift. What replacement shock would you recommend that would handle rough roads and a rare occasion dirt road. The OME middle weight leaf springs is what I’m thinking but lost on what shock to go with. I was considering the fox 2.0 but any suggestions would be appreciated
Wondering what you ended up going with, I'm in the same truck trying to do the same thing except I'll be carrying a 500lb load in the bed at all times.
I have a like that truck is 2021 SR it’s not come with fog light. Where do you find those and how I can install it can you make a video about that? Thanks.

You think a 2" lift should fit 285/70-17's without trimming ?

You bet! Glad you enjoyed it
What did you go with for the 3in lift?

The Fox 2.0 does add 2” of lift out of the box for 2nd gen Tacomas
No. That would be their maximum recommended adjustment. I think it's maybe 1" out the box

How are you liking the kit?
Can I use this shocks with no lifting,I just want them for everyday use not off roading
I love you guys..Noah you are on point..
Nice video showing another option. How will this affect the towing capacity? Thanks

Great review! Side question: What headlights do you have installed?
Did you guys do the body mount chop? Or just fender and pinch weld trimming?
Can you use this kit if you already have a lift? I have a leveling kit 3” front 2” rear on stock shocks. I want to upgrade the shocks any suggestions?
