I used to have a phobia for whipping cream ,I live in Nigeria and the weather can get pretty hot here. So I used to be afraid of the cake melting and all that .
But I’ve overcome all those fears now😀
I still remain a loyal Fondant Fan though 😂

I tried this cake covering method but the edges where they join is still obvious. I thought I could smoothen it out and no one will notice.
You need to smoothen it out patiently .

@@Isbccakeacademy i don't know mom it keeps breaking . I cant even cover just the top of the cake properly without it falling apart . It has given me so much trauma anything fondant scares me
This is my recipe
1and half kg icing sugar, 4 table spoon gelatin, 4 table spoon glucose, 2 table spoon glycerin and 5 table spoon lemon

Is there any reason you include lemon to it ?
@@Isbccakeacademy some clients say its too sweet so i add lemons to reduce the sweetness

I’m suggesting that you try making the fondant without the lemon .
I also noticed there’s no CMC in your recipe
