Also you don’t have to worry about the fondant tearing, which can be stressfull at times.     That's perfect!! I live in a very hot and humid city and always have had issues with fondant (bubbles, sweating, etc) it's so satisfying to see someone doing everything perfect

    whoop whoop im famous!!! Im learning not to have a heart attack when you flipped this week still not tried it yet as all the cakes ive done recently have been just buttercream, maybe ill try on a very small one first like a 4" lol ;-) hubby says id probably even drop that one, the cheeky man, thanks again for the wonderful tutorials.     Hi love! I so love this tutorial! I have been using ganache under my fondant cakes because I’m just afraid of the buttercream melting under the fondant! How thick did you apply the buttercream?

    Thank you for sharing this. I recently paneled a round cake using the upside down method. The cake looked great. But after some time (at the event) my cake started bulging on the side. Do you have this problem? How do you prevent bulging?

    When you say "chill your cake" before you panel it, is it chilled in the fridge or freezer? Mine in the fridge would not be able to be handled without denting. Thank you in advance.

      Thanks so much! It actually sticks by itself and rubbing it with my hand "heats" it up a bit, so I think that's it 😁

      Hi there! I use either Funcakes or Massa Ticino Tropic fondant. I don't know if Funcakes is internationally available though. I heard good reviews about Couture Fondant too 😊.
