The cake and your work are amazing! For the next cake: a1 is always black, not white. The queen loves her colour, that means that the black Queen schould stay on black and the white one one white. 😊

And making a chess ♟ pieces and the board on top of a checkerboard cake. Lol And checkerboard cake is my son favorite cake and his birthday is only 2 weeks away and l’m going to bake him a checkerboard cake l’m ordering the cake pans but l might just make it square l was doing it round but l haven’t decided yet but excellent work .! One small detail. With the chess pieces set up your last square to the right should always end with white square. In other words turn the chess cake over so when you set up the pieces the last square is white.👍

Why my chess pieces are breaking while taking the chilled/ set pieces out, ? I have seen some videos how to melt the chocolate and all but still ? Any idea which chocolate to use? I’m using the same mould as yours? What I’m doing wrong?
after a lot of trial and error, I managed to get the pieces to mostly work by spraying the trays with a little oil and leaving them to set overnight in the fridge. Then carefully pull the silicone side to side to loosen the edges. Goodluck!

Mine it's so bad, sticks and makes a mess!! Do you think it has something to do with the fact that it's gluten,peanut free? Thanks for sharing your videos!! You are my number 1!!!
Aahw thank you so much Zule 😘! My fondant is gluten- & peanut free aswell. Do you mean that it sticks to itself before you've applied it to the cake? If so, you could dust some icing sugar on the back and also reach out to make other brands to see what works best 😉
