Excellent video as always. You mentioned that Warcry is a one-stop shop sort of game. Once you assemble everything, punch out the tokens and all that good stuff, how good would they all be repacked in that same big box? I'd love to get into either AoS or Warcry with my wife - we love the theme, the look of the models, we both are big into painting miniatures - but it's very daunting to see sprues like this - in the games we play heavily such as DnD, Mice and Mystics, Gloomhaven they are pre-assembled, this just looks like it will take as much time to glue up as it will be to paint and base (the part we don't mind). With a lot of the more RPG style miniature games we can at least play a scenario or two to decide "Ok, I like this faction/person I'm playing as. I'll go ahead and send the time painting them nicely". Or even: "Meh, this class isn't as fun he'll be on the back burner as we play though with our main guys." I can just see it now my wife waiting on me going "Can we paint yet!? When will they be ready!?"--"A week from now, then spend the next two weeks painting. We might be able to start playing this game next month." And I get it - seriously, I love taking my time painting certain models for weeks or more, and we all have those models that are truthfully never going to be done that we will fidget with forever. But to invest into a starter version of a game (and it's a sizable investment, think of if the new player wanting to start with the starter set but still needs paint/brushes/supplies/tools on top of practicing skills of painting on other models) then weeks later even be able to try the game for the first time to see if they even like; it seems daunting. The problem I see with Games Workshop games is that even starter kits are aimed for people who have been in the Games Workshop family of games for multiple iterations that can pick it up as a supplement for there collection they already have. I've tried so hard to even have my friends into Games Workshop games invite me over to watch them set up and play and explain to me what's going on and how to get into it - I've asked the hobby store workers, even the officially licensed "Games Workshop" outlet stores to explain the most simplistic way of getting the toes wet for this epic adventure and they start bombarding you with jargon that makes sense to their loyal fan base but not to people wanting to get into it for the first time. "Yea man, just grab these three books and then grab you a "hero/leader" model for your squad and only start with one or two squads, grab some Start Collecting bundles, and grab their lore books to understand if they are for you - Unless you can find Heresy area stuff then grab anything you can find. But don't worry about it now because 9th is coming soon so everything is going to be obsolete when the new Codex drops."...that is so many words that make perfectly good sense to anyone who currently understands this world but coming from something like Gloomhaven I just stand there and blink going "The hell does any of that mean? So buy some things but I don't know if I want these things because there's lots of other cool looking things, I can learn about these things from the hundreds of books but there isn't a format of the books that I should start with - just grab a book and it will tell me more about one of the factions I might or might not care about? And if I want to play this faction I need to buy another book that tells me the rules of this faction? But wait these books expire?! I need new rule books when new editions come out...is this like an Apple phone where yearly they expect me just to buy a new one?!" So yeah - it's massively overwhelming - I just end up sitting here watching at least 11 different painting/warhammer channels going: "Yeah looks awesome." and being content with the spectator element of it all.
Does Atom have any content on going to a game shop solo for the first time to play? I'm not at that point yet, trying to figure out which exact game... Sigmar, D&D, Infinity, 40k. Right now I'm just at the painting minis stage :)
Internet is also your friend :) some shops dont always run the same games and such. As an example I play 40k at a pretty normal lgs and infinity I play at this table top gaming cafe that specializes in board games.
Yah it's harder than I thought to start out. Lots of games, similar sounding, have to sort through my local games shop to see who plays what. I think I'll just show up one day and see what happens. I just went down to my local shop today and the woman working said something like "Yeah I don't know what they play now, I don't work on those days. They were making terrain the other day" So just bad timing I think.
"If you step on them"....Not a lot of plastic mini would survive that...unless it is a Reaper Bones fig. And damn you Uncle Atom, I do not want to get into this! I got enough with KT but this is exactly what I wanted...damn you and GW too. ;)
you covered this in another video I recently watched - but again: why the heck, they don't sell that big "all you need to play" box anymore?!?!? As a beginner it is so much easier to get into a new game when you just can buy the complete box, ready to play. Now I have to buy terrain separately, minis, rules, cards....all separately..... WHY?! (I secretly know: because MONEY) but still.....WHY?!
Jody B he was rude but the 3D printer comments are like telling someone struggling with an application to get Linux to fix the problem. It *can* be obnoxious.
I wish they would stop doing these new games and sort out the factions that haven't had any attention for a while, like soulblight, bonerattle, beastclaw raiders to name a few.
We have the same taste on warbands! Iron Golems looking probably the best, with bird men and beasts being close behind. The cypher guys probably come bottom of the list for me, all look kinda samey.
Hey Uncle Atom! Really love your channel. I'm super interested in Warcry, got out of Age of Sigmar but I think Warcry will get me back in. Was wondering about the play mat that comes with the box. Is it cardstock and does it fold? Thanks!
The reviews coming out so far are pretty much all the same. Great quality components. Fantastic models. Value of plastic is very good. The terrain is brilliant. The cards used to determine deployment, victory condition, and layout are great. Game itself plays like shit and has no replayability. I might wait a bit.
Sigh, unfortunately this. I'll still buy it if for nothing else the scenery and miniatures. I just don't see it being anything more than a display piece. Though it might be better to ebay the untamed beast and scenery (not feeling the golems too much)
I spent the weekend playing it with friends and we all enjoyed the game. The way in which you randomly determine terrain setup (if you want to) and deployment, and the Twist and the agenda (victory condition) made it feel different each time. With more factions coming out, it will be more versatile. And it's been like 10 years since I've played a GW game, so I was surprised how easy it was for me to pick up.
Yeah, I loved this from the initiative roll. It is fast, brutal and furious, no overly tactical, cautious sly playing in this game, you aim for the objective and batter your way to victory. The card system is a brilliant idea for making a level playing field. I got the core box, the first scenery expansion, my two favourite extra warbands, (birds and snakes), the annual, the nighthaunt box and I will be buying the Mausoleum set when restrictions are no longer needed as well as the beautiful new Khainite Shadows band. lol (When I go all in, I mean all in.)
Kinda wished they had used the Underworlds dice, stats, and combat mechanics to make what is essentially an open-board terrain-involved skirmish version of Underworlds. Easy to do.
Easy to do but then you need those special dice and people would have moaned that it wasn’t based on D6s so they can’t win either way. I think the combat definitely has shades of Underworlds in there and is nice and simple
I love the models that Games Workshop comes out with....I just usually hate the gameplay. For me, I prefer the simpler mechanics of stuff like Star Wars Legion where I roll to hit and they roll to defend. I tried to play Kill Team but I can't remember all the different things I have to roll for.
You should get on well with this game then as there’s no To Wound or Save Roll. It’s just a single hit roll, so much less rolling than in other GW games.
I am sad there is no Seraphon support right out of the gate with Warcry :( I feel like some people who's factions are not represented in the game (like Beasts of Chaos) might just end up forgetting about Warcry.
True. But at the same time i think that the warbands stats can be "stolen" and be represented with the unlucky races. That is said without the rulebook on my hands ofc. It is probably not acepted in a competition but after all if you are just visually replacing the model and/or names with other... Who really cares? Idk like the untammed beast seem easy to be replaced by beastmen. The Corvus and/or the snake ones might be played with skaven minis.. And so on. Although some extra rules for everyone would be better, in the end if you are playing with a friend it should not matter too much. At least i will have my "non morathi bullshit" dark elves playing probably as the snake guys (poison and such).. Just pick up a warband that works like your own minis, and fill the roles. Maybe you can go with the lizards replacing the golems. Saurs here and there. A big kroxi as the ogor...
Wesley Chartrand no one has patience anymore. This just launched. All it takes is a little imagination and some agreement between players and boom you have skaven rules
I'm assuming it will be like the Kill Team Starter, and in 6 months you wont be able to buy it anymore? As popular as Kill Team is, it's getting hard to find any of the game specific box sets for it only a year later. It makes it hard for guys like me who dont have a lot of time to build and paint and dont want a huge pile of shame. This does look really good and right up my alley, so I guess I better jump on it quick!
I think you're possibly right. Anyone with their eye on this will probably do well not to hang about for too long, even if they don't plan to build/paint it up for a while.
You are most likely correct about the quality effect of coloration of plastic, they are almost certainly the same underlying plastics, but certain colors require much more or less of the color additives which can have some minor effect on the quality of the plastics. Red in particular is always a troublesome color.
Not sure on this 'new entry' boxes… I think the best way to get into the WH hobby is to buy minis that you like and then play with the free play rule of W40k or AoS. I find these easier and immediate than KT or this… maybe is only my impression… :)
Personally I’m excited that standard AoS models aren’t the base. That means any sort of elites or commander expansions will be hopefully more thought out and won’t feel like they’re just baiting you into a full scale army like kill team has done.
Well, as gorgeous as everything seems to look, I´m still out of it. For one, I play Maggotkin of Nurgle and Blades of Khorne (Chaos? Check!) and then it´s a completely different rulesset. I´m not happy with that development. :(
Granberg Agreed. They can produce all the stat cards with symbols on them and then only have to worry about translating the rulebook which tells you what the symbols mean instead of translating EVERYTHING.
Oh, sprues. I thought you said screws. I was like "Say what?" LOL. I saw this in the local hobby store and it looks cool but they said it is $175. A little out of my price range right now unfortunately.
Looking forward to getting started with this. Necromunda always looked too crunchy for my son and I to pick up, whereas this looks a lot more accessible.
Isn't this more the Necromunda of Age of Sigmar? KillTeam of AoS existed from the beginning in all the General's Handbooks or even seperate as AoS "Skirmish"...
Games Workshop just pulled the "Warcry Starter Set" from their online store... Replacing it with the "Warcry Starter Collection" (basically the same collection minus the minatures, althought terrain is still included.) It's a pretty bad deal for customers. the Price tag gets dropped 25$ but you lose out on all the faction minatures and the beast minis. If anyone's thinking about picking this up, might want to try to find a new box of starter set while you can. An off topic rant: I hate how Games Workshop creates scarcity among their products and quickly takes things off their store in less than a year. I swear this is a marketing ploy often used by companies and GW is doing it pretty flawlessly. Games Workshop one of the most profitable companies in all of the UK... Why do they have to split up the "warcry starter set" the best value in their warcry line up... and now force customers to spend like double the amount to get the equivalent in their separate boxes and packs? If they were hurting for profits, I'd get it... but in the past few years they have been doing unbelievably well. So it's kind of like a kick in the nuts from gw. I wonder what your thoughts are?
I don't see this as a decent "place to start", I've been at this for a little while and the War Cry box is a bit intimidating to build/paint up. I remember the video (pachow) when you point out that all you NEED to play AoS is a box of models each and the 4 page rules. THATS the intro to the game people want/need.
I agree that it can be intimidating but as a starting point with everything that comes in this box it's great. 2 warbands, terrain, mat, rulebook, dice etc it's awesome. Especially as most people who jump in have friends who already know how tabletop games work.
I wonder if this will work as a pure Ork centric game. Because like Chaos them greenskinz love to fight. I know the stats are there (in add-ons), but thematically it might not be Orky enough.
ron d, I might tell you something that will pull your socks off: you don’t need mr. workshop to tell you how to play or if it is ork enough. After paying +100$ if you want o play with teddy bears it’s fine.
never got into Warhammer....total noob and I just decided to get into Warcry just starting out with nothing is daunting.... building models and painting 🎨....I've spent over 600 on Warcry stuff so far lol
I got back into the hobby right after this set went out of print and was impossible to order online (no stationery shop nearby unfortunately) and the prices got doubled from the resellers.... this is one of those things i regret a lot.
Why NOT review the game if you’re going to make a whole video about it? Even if it’s (obviously) just based on your opinion and taste I don’t see what’s wrong with offering your opinions on the pros and cons of the game and then offering some sort of final score. I’m just curious because I’ve noticed a couple other channels where the creator acts like there is something kind of distasteful or something about them offering review.
I am just getting into 40k & Kill Team but am also curious about AoS. Could this serve as a decent introduction? I know nothing about the fantasy setting, the lore or the rules of AoS. Also could the terrain be used in 40k/Kill Team as well?
Ed Mccormick This will introduce you to a part of the AoS setting, in particular the Chaos faction. If you want a better intro to the setting, the AoS core book is better. The scenery is perfectly viable for 40k.
Lore, yes. Only thing you need to know is Archaon is the big bad general of the Chaos forces. AoS rules, no. Models will probably be given rules to be played in AoS, but Warcry as a game is radically different from playing a game of AoS. Terrain will work for other war games just fine, but it looks as if this terrain (and other AoS terrain sets) may be desired for Warcry.
Pretty much all GW Terrain is made for their 'slightly more than 28mm' scale, including this one. So it will work fine for nearly all GW mini games. (Except apocalypse probably). As for an introduction into AoS, it seems to have very different rules and stats, unlike kill team which had only small deviations with mostly identical core mechanics to 40k. However, you might well like it as it's own game, it does share the AoS lore, and if you are anything like most wargamers i know you will probably have a good bunch of models for various factions for this around which you can upscale forAoS if you ever want to.
Thanks for the info. Glad to hear they're keeping to scale. I'm rather terrain poor at the moment so the opportunity to mix things up is very welcome. If it shares the setting and lore then that will tell me all I need to know about AoS. I'm more of a lore guy than a rules guy, the mechanics can be simple and smooth or clunky and complicated as long as the world I'm playing in is fun
8:30 the board from the Kill Team starter set also only folded in half. I suspect the boards in the Ravaged Lands expansions will follow the KT format and fold into eights :)
I‘m already playing some AoS and I‘m totally into Warhammer Underworlds since Shadespire came out, but still I‘m waiting for Warcry! I guess I like the quick and dirty approach, plus I‘m a dad and beer and pretzel games, that can be played on a weekday night are the closest I get to a huge battle nowadays.
I am severely let down by the fighter cards. Thought there was going to be a bunch of interesting juicy stats, but they made a skirmish game even simpler than the main game. It's no longer "to wound" but there is no hit roll nor save roll. It's simply just a str vs tgh check. So there's seemingly nothing interesting that can be done with terrain modifiers? Save a tgh or str modifier. And for a game that is only melee focussed they REALLY need something else to make this complex enough to stick around. If the campaign for this game isn't better than killteam.... I think this might flop.
Kill Team's concept but better executed. Having tried and failed to get into Kill Team. This is what it should have been from day 1. Finally a REAL skirmish game with not so much dice spam and rolling as Kill Team. That said I still own the KT Manual as I don't want to give up on it yet.
"You’ll be able to pre-order your Warcry Starter Set this weekend" from the community website, not sure when the additionnal Warbands will be available though
It looks like they learned from the necromunda initial release in that they are providing an extra warcry specific warband and rules for a few more factions right out of the gate. I would expect to see other factions to get rules thru white dwarf and expansion books. Keep an eye out in the next few months.
Anjohl ya know, when people say they “ruined” a game... you can always just use the base stuff, right? Just play with the original rules and not all the optional extras, if that’s what you don’t like?
@@marks6928 theoretically, yes, that's true. But getting an opponent(s) to agree to that restriction is the rub. Most people want to use the newest iteration of a game. Case in point, KT Elites, which was just shoved into the game as a mandatory "DLC" without notice.
Anjohl no DLC is mandatory, only if people make it so. I’d happily still play ‘vanilla’ kill team, and it’s a shame the people around you are chasing the new stuff.
I've had that GameFor app since the GalaxyS7 was new and recently re-opened it a few months ago. There was very little going on, even in a major metropolitan area (Los Angeles/Orange County/Riverside County CA) I hope people outside this region get more out of it than I have.

Hey, thank you for review! Could you please say if there are any rpg elements at the game rules? I like the systems like Frostgrave, Mordheim and Necromunda because they have a good portion of "progression" mechanics. I like the scenario-style play within a campaign, when the results of previous battles affect your further battles. Does this game support such a style of play? Or should i look elsewhere? Thank you in advance!
The "iconography" thing, isn't game design specifically, it's actually to make translation cheaper. That symbol means the same thing in all languages, unlike words.
Have always liked the idea of war bands; with all of the terrain it is worth considering. building them up into a separate force to add to a larger model count game. If I choose. Thank you for sharing.

I need new rule books when new editions come out...is this like an Apple phone where yearly they expect me just to buy a new one?!"
So yeah - it's massively overwhelming - I just end up sitting here watching at least 11 different painting/warhammer channels going: "Yeah looks awesome." and being content with the spectator element of it all.
WHY?!
(I secretly know: because MONEY)
but still.....WHY?!
I love the idea of more terrain, GW NEeds to offer. More terrain
Check out GW ForgeWorld for some pretty cool terrain albeit a bit pricey.
I'll be honest, I dont like it in boxes. It skyrockets the price of the box set and you can get a lot more at reasonable prices from 3rd parties.
Oh I didn't know this was the 3 d printer comment section, I thought it was the mini one. Long hair dont care.
Jody B he was rude but the 3D printer comments are like telling someone struggling with an application to get Linux to fix the problem. It *can* be obnoxious.
Dice with a picture for a six are really annoying!!!
Better than those ones with a picture instead of a 1...
GW did some dice that had pictures on the 6 AND the 1. Now those were bad.
Mark Sosbe And the ones with pictures on everything
I wish they would stop doing these new games and sort out the factions that haven't had any attention for a while, like soulblight, bonerattle, beastclaw raiders to name a few.
We have the same taste on warbands! Iron Golems looking probably the best, with bird men and beasts being close behind. The cypher guys probably come bottom of the list for me, all look kinda samey.
Stu R you can’t tell me the unmade look “Samey”
@@matthewbennett1972 huh dragging up some old comments I see... Never said anything about the unmade :)
Guess I’m late to the party.
Hey Uncle Atom! Really love your channel. I'm super interested in Warcry, got out of Age of Sigmar but I think Warcry will get me back in. Was wondering about the play mat that comes with the box. Is it cardstock and does it fold? Thanks!
@@sleepysasquatchgames Thanks, he kinda says a little about it but just wanted to be sure.
So at least try the game before you bin the rules. :)
Yeah, I loved this from the initiative roll. It is fast, brutal and furious, no overly tactical, cautious sly playing in this game, you aim for the objective and batter your way to victory. The card system is a brilliant idea for making a level playing field. I got the core box, the first scenery expansion, my two favourite extra warbands, (birds and snakes), the annual, the nighthaunt box and I will be buying the Mausoleum set when restrictions are no longer needed as well as the beautiful new Khainite Shadows band. lol
(When I go all in, I mean all in.)
Wow, just look at all that terrain. That got me interested. Thanks for the video!
According to your 90/10 rule I now need to model for 200 mins.
Challenge accepted :D
Michael Peila I mean, painting for over 3 hours isn’t that long. Or maybe I’m just a slow painter.
@@coltonm3888 it's the finding the time that is the challenge
Yeah, that’s fair
Kinda wished they had used the Underworlds dice, stats, and combat mechanics to make what is essentially an open-board terrain-involved skirmish version of Underworlds. Easy to do.
Easy to do but then you need those special dice and people would have moaned that it wasn’t based on D6s so they can’t win either way.
I think the combat definitely has shades of Underworlds in there and is nice and simple
Always how to play bits should be photos and 2 pages of the models painted to super standard the rest should be art work brings it alive for me !
If your getting it make sure you get plastic glue, I got it but couldn't build because i didnt have glue
I totally agree on the colored plastic feeling softer!
No idea if it is, it just gives of that impression lol! Gray all the Way!
I love the models that Games Workshop comes out with....I just usually hate the gameplay. For me, I prefer the simpler mechanics of stuff like Star Wars Legion where I roll to hit and they roll to defend. I tried to play Kill Team but I can't remember all the different things I have to roll for.
Roll to hit, roll to wound and then your opponent rolls to save. Only one extra layer!
Albany isn’t there also a flesh wound roll? Also, remembering the to hits on each roll...I’m pretty dumb...
Maybe they'll update some Seraphon models before they add to warcry. There is some rumour images that look Seraphon
Anyone with their eye on this will probably do well not to hang about for too long, even if they don't plan to build/paint it up for a while.
radarcannon I am having the same issue with KT, all the teams are either discontinued or have to pay a lot more money 💰
@@mouseketeery that's what I'm going to do, but itll probably be winter before I get to building it!
You know, I’ve been wanting an excuse to get some Idoneth Deepkin. This could be it.
You are most likely correct about the quality effect of coloration of plastic, they are almost certainly the same underlying plastics, but certain colors require much more or less of the color additives which can have some minor effect on the quality of the plastics. Red in particular is always a troublesome color.
I'm just sitting here wondering why the box looks so small in your hands
Well, I’m a pretty big guy, with larger-than-average hands. It’s probably that. Thanks for watching!
Not sure on this 'new entry' boxes… I think the best way to get into the WH hobby is to buy minis that you like and then play with the free play rule of W40k or AoS. I find these easier and immediate than KT or this… maybe is only my impression… :)
Quite disappointed, nothing like Necromunda, Killteam or Mordheim:
- Zero customization
- Everything is fixed in cards
- No equipment options
Good to know its not just chaos warbands in this game. I may pick it up now. The models look good but Ive just always been more of an Order player.
It will take me 2 years to paint that mountain of plastic. And only if I’m ignoring the mountain I already own..
Straight up, just buying this for the terrain haha
Why not wait for it to be released separately.
A Bridgeburner send me your Minis
Personally I’m excited that standard AoS models aren’t the base. That means any sort of elites or commander expansions will be hopefully more thought out and won’t feel like they’re just baiting you into a full scale army like kill team has done.
Well, as gorgeous as everything seems to look, I´m still out of it. For one, I play Maggotkin of Nurgle and Blades of Khorne (Chaos? Check!) and then it´s a completely different rulesset. I´m not happy with that development. :(
But it's so good, balanced and action-packed! Killteam always seemed off to me. Upping the wounds was a much-needed change, models stick around.
you dont have to just play one system and two specific factions.
I would agree that the coloured spruee have less detail than the grey
Could you make a video of playing this game for us? I love your explanations and would deffo watch a let's play from you.
I will listen to the VOICES as I hug my tattered Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader Rulebook
Thanks! Great video. Picking mine up tomorrow at my local FLGS!
it's kind of strange that the stormcast options are basically just vanguard. i dont see liberators, sequitors, etc
I think with the icon system, it makes the game language independent.
Ive jsut picked up kill team, and you can get rules and two sides for around 100-125
Thanks for this. I was unplugged from GW's news, but this is a better way for me to hear about it - which is why I subscribe!
Looking forward to getting started with this. Necromunda always looked too crunchy for my son and I to pick up, whereas this looks a lot more accessible.
For sure. Check out Blackstone Fortress! It is awesome! And you and your son can play it together. It's a great coop experience!
Necromunda is a bit numbers heavy. My son is 6 I play a watered down version with him. But I think this would be great
Isn't this more the Necromunda of Age of Sigmar? KillTeam of AoS existed from the beginning in all the General's Handbooks or even seperate as AoS "Skirmish"...
I agree, this has more in common with Necromunda than kill team
AoS skirmish is a pretty shit , under-developed game system. This is far better.
An off topic rant:
I hate how Games Workshop creates scarcity among their products and quickly takes things off their store in less than a year.
@@zyearwood4587 I agree with that, it's for pre existing players with experience already rather than all new to gaming.
it looks exaclty what I was looking for... lets see the final price of the box
$170 if I'm not mistaken
Great vid & informative. I've been looking forward to this. My only worry is price & if the models are snap fit & any chance converting the models?
I don't think any of it is easy-build, but the poses are very dynamic so I doubt there's much choice in poseability without surgery and greenstuff.
This is what GW gives you when all we wanted was Mordheim 💸
We'll never get Mordheim since it was in the Old World. RIP :(
we get this, monopose epidemic and increased prices of the models all over GW
Well, if you like Mordheim you will also like Kings of War Vanguard. Especially if you want to get new players hooked (we did and it's great)
Gonna need a shitload of contrast paints for all that grey plastic !
Damn. Was trying to ignore this. Now it's getting a touch more difficult to.
One benefit of Iconography in board games is its easier to be language dependent. I don’t know if that’s something they were thinking about but maybe.
I'm so glad it's not only chaos! Waiting for Skaven rules!
Nice analyse and I love you re prononciation.
French guy 😉
Sounds good. Thanks for the great answers. I think I'm going to have to make room on my shelf for another game
Fun terrain I could use for Zombicide hehe
Very excited for this.
Can i buy those two warbands separately? I dont need all the terrain and rules
They'll probably release them separately in a few months time - they usually do.
Great video and an excellent run down. Thanks!
I want everything in the box aside from the models lol.
How do the creatures work? And who controls them? Also, where could I find a box set with them other than the starter set?
Does anyone know if they made a product that’s just the terrain? Name?
8:30 the board from the Kill Team starter set also only folded in half. I suspect the boards in the Ravaged Lands expansions will follow the KT format and fold into eights :)
You don't sound as excited as when Kill Team was released...
maybe because he was more existed for 40k kill team because he wanted to play smaller gamer of 40k. i don't think he is that big into aos
It is MUCH MORE exciting :)
What!? ... No Skaven!? The great Horned Rat is not amused.
Not my thing- but deffo looks interesting & lots of plastic is always a good thing! Thanks
I'm interested in these Corvus dudes, is the release date already out for these?!
"You’ll be able to pre-order your Warcry Starter Set this weekend" from the community website, not sure when the additionnal Warbands will be available though
@@mezawockee5050 thx for the info, appreciated :D
The Corvus are available to preorder today and come out on 3rd August
I feel like gw needs to chill with all the damn skulls on everything like it’s cool but some times I feel like it’s a bit of over kill
Man this looks neat. It's a shame i cant use 90% of my figures though...
Feel the same mate. I have only skavens and some old Empire xD
It looks like they learned from the necromunda initial release in that they are providing an extra warcry specific warband and rules for a few more factions right out of the gate. I would expect to see other factions to get rules thru white dwarf and expansion books. Keep an eye out in the next few months.
I said I wouldn’t go back after KT... butting my nails now
Give it a few months, make sure they don't ruin it like they did Kill Team.
@@marks6928 the vast majority of events and pickup games will use everything available, that's just a general truth.
I've had that GameFor app since the GalaxyS7 was new and recently re-opened it a few months ago. There was very little going on, even in a major metropolitan area (Los Angeles/Orange County/Riverside County CA) I hope people outside this region get more out of it than I have.
Nope. Uncle atom stopped heavily talking about it and so it's not getting the free promotion to help bring people to it's platform. It might help if he added a 10 second message at the end of his videos ....pa chow
I do love how much you talk with your hands 😂😂😂
The "iconography" thing, isn't game design specifically, it's actually to make translation cheaper. That symbol means the same thing in all languages, unlike words.
Have always liked the idea of war bands; with all of the terrain it is worth considering. building them up into a separate force to add to a larger model count game. If I choose. Thank you for sharing.
When you want to play Chaos, but use models from an AoS army instead of a newb Warband. XD
I just come back listen and listen to this. Appreciate for high quality sound and content vedio
