    Binge watching the Design Focus episodes of Olympics. So nice to learn the story behind the emblem and brand of each Olympic games.

    As a German, this type of graphic design makes me extremely nostalgic. It's something that, in my opinion, perfectly represents the feeling of west germany, especially the colors.

    The design of Munich '72 is now my new favorite! It looks modern, yet vintage at the same time, just like Futura! What if the Philippines used this design for the 2019 SEA Games?

    Munich 1972 was the first Olympics to have an official mascot, Waldi the dachshund (Schuss doesn’t count)!

    It's a shame footage from the 1976 Montreal Olympics at 8 secs was used in a homage to the 1972 designer Otl Aicher.

    Waldi, ese fue el nombre de la mascota Múnich 1972 y es emblemática por ser la primera mascota de unos juegos olímpicos de verano.
