vancouver's colour palette is so iconic. Looking at those colours instantly brings me back to those amazing days
It fits the city perfectly.
What’s even more cool about the colours they chose is that blue, green and white are also the uniform colours of the Vancouver Canucks
the color palette they've used is calming and pleasing to the eye 😊
I like the mascots that were chosen for the Vancouver 2010 Olympics. Miga is a sea bear, a mythical creature that’s half kermode bear and half orca. Quatchi is based on a Sasquatch. The Paralympic mascot Sumi is a thunderbird and their sidekick Mukmuk is a marmot, a small rodent

This games was so so so beautiful
It was lovingly designed in a fresh nature based palette. Definitely a great BC baby.
There’s all kinds of landmarks in Vancouver: Science World, BC Place, the 9 O’ Clock Gun, the Gastown Steam Clock, Waterfront Station, the giant spinning Q at the Lonsdale Quay...you name it, it’s in Vancouver!
This Olympics made me who I am today. I hope one day I can design for the Olympics as well.

I don’t personally own one, but I DID get to wear a torch bearer’s jacket and hold a (not lit) torch when one of the torch bearers visited my class when I was in high school a week before the games. I lived in Kamloops at the time and this was just the day after I had gone to Hillside Stadium at the Tournament Capital Centre to watch the torch come through. I was so close to the front row that I could feel the heat from the Olympic flame

Yeah they were cute. I have a plush of the Paralympic mascot Sumi which I bought on the day the torch came through Kamloops. Love the Canadian folklore that inspired the mascots, such as the Sasquatch that Quatchi is based on and how Miga is a hybrid between an orca and a kermode bear. Sumi is supposed to be a thunderbird wearing a traditional aboriginal orca hat and Mukmuk is a marmot which is a small wild rodent

Vini Ervilha You don't need You Tube to find answers. All you had to do is ask Google or Alexa or Siri AND you get an immediate answer. That would be the logical choice. I would NEVER post anywhere asking for anything EVER. I don't get it 🤔

Winter olympic games is Very boring! I prefer Summer olympic games
Say that to the hundreds and hundreds of athletes who train for four years or more just to have a small chance at the games to show their hard work. These athletes who go through blood, sweat, and tears for you to say such an ignorant comment.
