- In this video I renovate a house listed on Zillow in the Sims 3. This is a 4 bed, 2 bath, 2,522 square foot (~234 square meter) home in Xenia, Ohio which was listed for $224,999. The home is renovated for the Platt-Steele family (Danielle Platt and Richter Steele from Starlight Shores).

wow, i love this concept and style. this is the first time i’ve watched a sims 3 build in possibly years but i’m going to watch the rest you have now!!
In regards to what you said at the end of the video, I really felt your pain. The home affordability problem is definitely a big problem in Australia too. We're calling it a housing crisis here. I think it's certainly not a failure as an individual but a fundamental systematic problem we are facing. It's frustrating so many millenials are facing a future of renting because of it. I wonder if there are other possible ways our generation can invest sensibly outside of the housing market.

I love your videos though- especially how thoughtfullly you create spaces for these specific families and individual sims, how much research you put into things like the building materials of pixels (I'm a big fan of Belinda Carr), and tbh just that you acknowledge late-stage capitalism for what it is haha

Thank you so much for this comment! My dog is doing a lot better now and we're lucky to still have him after such a close call. I hope you and I can both reach home ownership one day, but still have a real good time in life if it's not in the cards
