I learned to play piano with Rise of the Triad, this is one of the songs I played. My favorite is OWW, I would love to hear a remis for OWW. Daym, how'dido just creeps up on you and there it is. I love this mix.
*Perfect*! I love the fading effects on this arrangement. It's like the song is building up every measure. The piano doesn't overpower the counter-melody, the drums change every-so-often, the brass is brilliant, and this is just... just absolutely perfect. Thank you.
lol, Thanks, yeah with this one I actually did it like the new and old versions mixed together with my own creative touches lol, With this one I think alot of what "makes" this song is the build ups but also the parts that are quieter, like the piano, pads, etc. give your ears a bit of a break from the upbeat loud parts, and makes it seem more explosive when it all comes in at once, like the ending.
I'm digging it. :) This actually reminds me a lot of Andrew Hulshult's remix but it uses better instruments at several points, especially the percussion. I think the only way to make it sound even better would be to use electric guitars in place of the brass section - on the Cccool part, not Howdido. Hulshult used guitars in both (and I love what he did with them on Howdido) but he still used the brass, and the brass is what kinda... I don't know, gets a bit repetitive because it was there on all the original pieces. So I think a greater variety of instruments, and maybe some more sustaining notes, would have made it even better, but in general terms this remake sound pretty good. :) Keep it up.
I know ROTT had an awesome sound track, I will mostly do more in the future. To be honest i'd like to do all the songs its just having time that's the problem lol but anyway, I'll put "I choose the stairs" on the request list for you :)

Awesome stuff! I think I found another song to add to the driving playlist.
Nice work, dude! I appreciate the transition into How'd I Do.
Thanks mate!
Criminally underrated set of remixes
This is sublime 👌
Awesome job, mate! I can imagine this playing in the Triad's disco. ;)
lol thanks man :)
Your comment just made me picture all of the ranks of the Oscuridos army having a huge dance party in their uniforms. Would make a great machinima...
Oh man this made my day. Great cover!
Haha Thanks man! :D

I love it!
Thanks man!
Could I request you work your remix magic on "Where izit", "I choose the stairs", "smoke and mirrors" and "chant"? I really do enjoy your work.
Thanks! & probably just choose one song for now otherwise i'll be there for ever lol
I think "I choose the Stairs" would be the best one at this time then. It's just so hard to choose, since Rise of the Triad's OST is so good overall.
