This Ancient city track with your version also deserves an acoustic version with recreated versions of instruments found at prehistoric sites. Bone, wood, snew-string, leather, wood, stone materials to replicate ancient instruments. One of my most favorite tracks and tribute I enjoy and keep revisiting.

I have "SEGA AGES - Phantasy Star" on Switch & 2-3&4 on Steams Sega Genesis Megadrive Anthology

From an autistic kid at his 12's, the world is a terrible and permanent dissonance, you can't connect to anyone because you don't understand the cues and the meanings, while you try to find a way into society - because you are told you had to do so - by mimicking behaviours you don't really understand, and get mocked for your awkwardness whithout realizing why. Everything was incredibly confusing. The constant fear of showing off, of judgement, of anything that went an inch off my routine and my own spaces was overwhelming, and I needed assistance for pretty much anything. Being aware of all of it (because cognitively I'm ok) but not knowing why it was that way (because I never got a diagnosis until I got into my 40's) kinda made things worse, now that I came to think about it. When I played Phantasy Star around that age, it was my first RPG. For the first time, I felt I had control of what I was doing, of what I had to do - it was pathetic as, in the first play, I just got stuck into Camineet for an hour or so because I followed a guard's advice and wanted to stay "safe" :P. But then, I could even control what was happening in the game, by chosing to go here or there or how to deal with maps, enemies and NPCs. It was my first experience of self control outside my own world. So this became the most important game in my life, one I just can't stop "living", because I don't play it anymore (I grew to have a job and a family to take care of that takes almost all of my time), but I think about a lot; I learned to draw from it, I learned to creatively write from it, I learned other languages and came to meet people whom are the oldest friends I still keep in contact because of it. Phantasy Star has been this big part of me for over 3 decades now. This medley just hit me like that. Thank you.
