Proud on Stage 2017 Top Secret Drum Corps

- Op zaterdag 14 oktober 2017 werd door de Stichting Proud Event voor de tweede maal, en wederom met groot succes, het evenement "Proud on Stage" georganiseerd in Schouwburg de Harmonie te Leeuwarden.
Top Secret Drum Corps is wereldberoemd door hun optredens in landen als Rusland, Canada, Australië, de Verenigde Staten, Zuid-Afrika, China en in heel Europa.
Ze zijn vooral bekend geworden door hun tijdens de Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in 2006, 2009, 2012 en 2015.
In 2016 speelden ze nog voor de Engels koningin in de Royal Albert Hall in Londen. Hun spannende optredens staan ??bekend om hun Zwitserse precisie, humor en fantastische effecten.
Met twintig plus jaren van passie, verbeelding en toewijding, hebben deze topslagwerkers zich bewezen als wereldklasse-act.
We zijn er ontzettend trots op dat we Top Secret met 22 leden naar Leeuwarden hebben kunnen halen voor fantastische optredens tijdens Proud on Stage 2017.
Dit was een optreden dat je niet hebt mogen missen.

Amazing! Performed as a member of the US Army Drill Team alongside these badassess at the 2003 Edinburg Military Tattoo. They were great performers and great friends during that time. We partied and had a lot of fun! Wish you guys well! :)

ik zat mijn foto's te bekijken op zoek naar deze band. We hebben ze namelijk buiten zien oefenen toen wij in Leeuwarden waren. Nu lees ik dat dat in voorbereiding was op deze avond :)

I think they intentionally drop one to show that they can switch to a new one quickly.
Did anyone else notice the drum stick on the floor that was later kicked out of the way of where these amazing guys were performing? I see two performers with one less stick in their drums stick pouch. I guess they carry spares for just such an rare event that a mistake is made.
Still brilliant in my opinion, even the best cnc controls of today have glitches!

I would too. Along with doing something about the bass line. Don't know if it's the heads, the tuning or something else. They just don't seem to project well. Maybe muted too much? Maybe it's different in person? I'm not a fan of the way DCI lines crank the basses so high, but they still have a clear tone.
@@kmabru They don't want to junk it up. This is THE line apart from the Royal Marines, nothing comes close.
@@TheMarkyMarx - Not sure what you mean by "junk it up". What would junk it up? Changing the tuning/muffling on the basses? Or adding a quad line?
Nothing comes close? Have you seen any WGI or DCI lines? How about the line from the Commandant's Own? All much cleaner and at a higher degree of difficulty than Top Secret.
