Thank you all for the kind words, both regarding the run itself and what I said after. It's overwhelming and heartwarming that many people are affected by the message that holds such heavy personal importance. Thank you.
This is my favorite speedrun I've ever seen. I caught it live but I've watched it two more times since then here. You are amazing both as a runner and as a human being. You brought me to tears and made me laugh, I look forward to watching more of your work!
@Kalina Ann I did wonder if I'd end up getting this question eventually, and the answer is just that I decided to make/use an avatar of my game's character instead of my fursona, my youtube channel name's not really related to the game though as the vast majority of the videos aren't of my game
The best GDQ run I've ever seen. I have never felt so much compassion, so much positive energy from a single runner ever. And his Dad donating, and him breaking into tears, and the hug from on of the guys on the couch, and the random guy yelling "I love you halfcordinated!" And just... The feels!
I'm glad that I caught this live. When his dad donated at 30:23 chat was getting a little choked up (as was I.) and at 35:24, chat was nothing but crying emotes. Very inspirational and moving. This run was great and the runner is even better.
35:25 I want to say so many things, but halfcoordinated said them unequivocally with his actions and his voice. You are an amazing and inspiring human being.
Half and the DGQ events in general has confirmed for me that games are inclusive and are for everyone. And as a guy who has been playing games for 30 years now it is great to see people get together and enjoy playing games. And, don't ever let anyone tell you that video games are not for you or that you don't belong in a certain gaming community. Those who say these hurtful things are the exception, not the standard. gg GLHB.
This was amazing like always from halfcoordinated. Great run but almost more importantly it always provides a special type of entertainment with both laughs and beautiful heartfelt moments. The world is a better place because of halfcoordinated and we are all better people for having been touched by him. Thank you for being who you are
I'm coming back to this because when watching this run live back in 2016 I became deeply interested in the game and bought it on steam, and I played it for well over several playthroughs worth of time, and it became one of my top games of 2016, and even now in 2020 I'm coming back to this game for repeated runs of this game, so thank you SGDQ and Halfcoordinated for introducing me to one of my favorite games of all time.
Every GDQ event, the first thing I do is looking for his name on the schedule. I didn't know any of the games halfcoordinated played at the events, but it didn't matter. It still doesn't matter to me if I know any of the games he plays during the marathon because I know I will be entertained. Much more, inspired. Never have I left without positivity after watching a halfcoordinated run at GDQ. And I keep coming back to watch the VODS on RUclips. Thank you so much.
Half's runs are always amazing. This was yet another one. That donation from his dad and his words and the end damn near got me all choked up. Much love Half
Wow. I just completed the game for the first time and had to look up something about this game and came across this. Halfcoordinated is an incredible player and person. Much love brother.
This is one of the best speedruns I've ever seen! Halfcoordinated, you're an inspiration to the masses. Halfcoordinated maybe, but the best heart I've ever seen! Keep up the amazing talent that inspires sooo many! Also, Kill the Animals!!!
Halfcoordinated runs are always amongst the very best ones in GDQs, between the skills, the lolz and the eventual tears. Great job man, can't wait for AGDQ! ;)
Right in the feels! FeelsGoodMan Great run Halfcoordinated! I love this game and just now like minutes ago beat it for the 1st time. Thank you for running it!
Oh god... that made me cry... I was kinda weird that he played with just one hand... now it makes sense.... Ummm I feel somewhat bad because I played a pirated version of Momodora but I'll buy it as soon as I get the money. I was going to do it anyway is such a great game but this speedrun just made me want to play it. He was a patreon too... that's awesome. I want to become a game designer myself someday and seeing what a game can do is just.... is just too much for me... Keep up the good work everybody.
Last I checked, people in Gamergate helped at least one person with a disability, and from the impression I've gotten would probably like this guy a lot. We could always use more of this kind of thing, and more visibility for it, I think. What he says is totally true, and people need reminding.
+Solatic Syot A group known to criticise journalists for being corrupt would never be poorly represented by the press. I mean, that's just nonsense talk. /s
Watching this video did get me choked up as I believe I can do great things, but a dark shadow is drawing in fast. I suffer from a progressive neurological disorder that may take my ability to game in 5+ years. Keep on playing for me Halfcoordinated!
Fantastic work. I'm sort of surprised you didn't buy the double damage when low health item, though it definitely didn't seem like you needed it. Love the Momodora game, and to see a run with one hand is even more satisfying.
Half is awesome. I only maybe an hour ago started playing this game, but he makes me feel ashamed at my noob skills... literally everything is a one-shot kill, and he's totally fine with it. Me, I get hit by those tiny jerks in the first area that lunge at me because I forget to use my roll. I need to use it, but I just take hits for no reason. Even once I get comfortable with the game mechanics, I will never be as good as Half. Great job man.
Wow, this guy has a form of paralysis and speedruns games, whereas I put off playing games casually due to my arthritis and fibromyalgia, haha. Such a great run, such a great end speech that was truly inspiring and not unrealistic.
and here I was, thinking that this was an old, worn out persian plushy where the whiskers and the jewel fell off over the years till I saw the cat transformation.
Thank you all for the kind words, both regarding the run itself and what I said after. It's overwhelming and heartwarming that many people are affected by the message that holds such heavy personal importance. Thank you.
Awesome run sir. You are an amazing and entertaining runner. Good job!
my favorite run of SGDQ this year, you are awesome.
This is my favorite speedrun I've ever seen. I caught it live but I've watched it two more times since then here. You are amazing both as a runner and as a human being. You brought me to tears and made me laugh, I look forward to watching more of your work!
you rock my man
Thanks for the run Half!
Turning a disability into an insanely impressive speedrun category, now that is something to be admired.
I hope we see Halfcoordinated in more GDQ's.
ProblmSolvd is that why he's only using one hand?
Late reply to you but yes, his other hand is kind of paralyzed and harder to use.
@@sleepyspades5386 It's *hemiparesis*
The speech make me cry of joy. What an amazing person.
I'll keep coming back to this one as a reminder that one doesn't have to be perfect to be amazing
@Kalina Ann I did wonder if I'd end up getting this question eventually, and the answer is just that I decided to make/use an avatar of my game's character instead of my fursona, my youtube channel name's not really related to the game though as the vast majority of the videos aren't of my game
Halfcoordinated is the kind of person that gives me hope in life.
The best GDQ run I've ever seen. I have never felt so much compassion, so much positive energy from a single runner ever. And his Dad donating, and him breaking into tears, and the hug from on of the guys on the couch, and the random guy yelling "I love you halfcordinated!" And just... The feels!

Yeah, I got all choked up there and like all teary.
Fuck Trumpet Best. GDQ. Ever.
or Pepsi Man
13:00 - actually, Derelict Frida kinda looks like some kind of a goofy penguin. I've seen the speedrun on your channel. You're amazing, dude!
Half will always be my favorite runner. Love seeing him in any event playing any game.
Waited for this video just to like it for the feels. Amazing run Halfcoordinated
8:33 - And of course the thumbnail of this video would be of a fight against Lubella. =P
I mean, you get the best item from her! That's why she's best boss! :P
35:25 I want to say so many things, but halfcoordinated said them unequivocally with his actions and his voice. You are an amazing and inspiring human being.

Props to the inspiration for plenty of peeps!
I watched it live and at the end I couldn't help the tears from falling out...Halfcoordinated, you're an absolute legend! Keep up being awesome!
Came here for a straight up speedrun and I came away crying!!! I love SGDQ so much.
Halfcoordinated is truly a gift and inspiration to all of us.
this is beautiful, thanks for the amazing run, I feel this has changed my life
This guy is why I watch these speed runs tbh. Always chill and upbeat.
Best and most inspiring game of sgdq so far :3
you are an absolute inspiration halfcoordinated! you have a new fan forever! luv ya and see you at ADGQ 2016!
Every GDQ event, the first thing I do is looking for his name on the schedule. I didn't know any of the games halfcoordinated played at the events, but it didn't matter.

Half's runs are always amazing. This was yet another one. That donation from his dad and his words and the end damn near got me all choked up. Much love Half
Great run, playing with one hand is amazing , having to talk at the same time is pretty unbleviable , great work
Wow. I just completed the game for the first time and had to look up something about this game and came across this. Halfcoordinated is an incredible player and person. Much love brother.

I love you Halfcoordinated! You're the best, and a huge inspiration to me!
What an awesome dude!
I wish I watched this live... It was so heartwarming, I teared while I watched it... Great run!
The credits music during his speech fit pretty well. I initially thought it was added in post.
I'm watching the rest of his monologue after the game because he's that damned impressive.
That speech at the end made me teary eyed.
Halfcoordinated runs are always amongst the very best ones in GDQs, between the skills, the lolz and the eventual tears. Great job man, can't wait for AGDQ! ;)
Amazing run, amazing game, amazing person.
Well said, Halfcoordinated, and well done. I'm at a loss for words. I look forward to the next GDQ!
I was not expecting all those feels ;_; What an amazing run and a fantastic person. This community is absolutely awesome.
Man, I sincerely love you. You are incredible my brother.
Right in the feels! FeelsGoodMan Great run Halfcoordinated! I love this game and just now like minutes ago beat it for the 1st time. Thank you for running it!
Yanno, that was a really heartwarming speech at the end there. You did great on that run, HC. Keep up the good work.
You are the Hero of alltime SGDQ!!!
Man I can tell this guy is really happy to be there. Good for him! :D
Oh god... that made me cry...
I was kinda weird that he played with just one hand... now it makes sense....

You are amazing dude never stop what you do, it just shows you can do anything you put your mind to ^.^
I thought I was watching a speedrun, and now I'm crying. Well played halfcoordinated, well played
Wow, so cool. One of my favorite GDQ runs yet. Excellent Half!!!
I wish guys like this and events like this got more press instead of negative things like Gamergate, death threats for delays or disagreements.
Agreed.
Last I checked, people in Gamergate helped at least one person with a disability, and from the impression I've gotten would probably like this guy a lot. We could always use more of this kind of thing, and more visibility for it, I think. What he says is totally true, and people need reminding.
Gamergate wasn't a negative thing, was just surrounded by needless controversy and was poorly represented by the press.
+Solatic Syot
A group known to criticise journalists for being corrupt would never be poorly represented by the press. I mean, that's just nonsense talk. /s
Rififi50 Lol fair enough
Halfcoordinated is awesome, that's all there is to it.
Amazing, inspiring run. So much respect for halfcoordinated.
so excited to see him again playing the aperture event at SGDQ17!
I really like this dude, happy to see him each time :)
Watching this video did get me choked up as I believe I can do great things, but a dark shadow is drawing in fast. I suffer from a progressive neurological disorder that may take my ability to game in 5+ years. Keep on playing for me Halfcoordinated!
Stay strong man
I can't even beat this game on hard with two hands. Halfcoordinated is a legend.
Even with his disability, he plays this game a lot better than I ever could. Good lord!
Has anyone noticed how perfectly credits music fit Halfcoordinated's speech?
The saddest part of all this was that most of the time I thought he was holding a plushy of Meowth from pokemon...lol...
This man is a hero
"Don't even try this".
He tried that shit. With one hand. Fucking legend.
+Chromidorr Couldn't agree more
you are inspirational! great run, and great words after!
fantastic in every way, the game, the run, the feels. i can hardly play RPGs one handed
It was a joy to watch you speedrun this game, halfcoordinated!
What a badass run! He kicked that game's ass, and it has some INSANE movement for a two handed runner! Super hype
"So here's a sub boss... *Beat*
And here's the sparse thread."
I love the humor in these runs (And the puns in this one!) Keep it up!
This was heartwarming and awesome.
Fantastic work. I'm sort of surprised you didn't buy the double damage when low health item, though it definitely didn't seem like you needed it. Love the Momodora game, and to see a run with one hand is even more satisfying.
You sir are truly amazing.
This guy really is an inspiration!
This game and this run are just awesome.
What an amazing run and runner!
This literally made me tear up when I watched it live.
Quick updates. Love that.
Wow, what a tearjerker :*)
Fuck... that ending... :'(
Hey, wusste gar nicht, dass du Speedruns schaust. :D Hast du Momodora schon mal gspielt?
What a beautiful human being.
Halfcoordinated will always be the best speed runner I know!
Great run, great message. Great work :)
**swipes through the first two stages of the final boss in seconds**
Kaho: *Yawns*
**Instantly nukes the final stage with a million attacks**
Fucking loved RutM. Fucking loved this run.
Start at 8:52 for a short introduction if you're not familiar with this game/runner. (Actual run starts 10:13)
Run starts at 10:14
33:00 YES SYNC HITS
I'm not crying, I'M NOT CRYING
Wow, this guy has a form of paralysis and speedruns games, whereas I put off playing games casually due to my arthritis and fibromyalgia, haha. Such a great run, such a great end speech that was truly inspiring and not unrealistic.
he is playing that good with one hand?? he is one of the best gamers i ever see !!
Damn, i ain't gonna lie, i cried.
Proper inspirational. Great run.
I was expecting sick strats not feels... fuck
You're the best Half
I thought I was being cheap on Derelict Frida, but I was actually using SPEEDRUN STRATS!! So cool!
and here I was, thinking that this was an old, worn out persian plushy where the whiskers and the jewel fell off over the years till I saw the cat transformation.
Is that Yung Venuz at 28:10?
So impressive!
This was amazing!
That plush is so cute.
I'll admit, I almost cried at the speech.
This is a great game it is criminally unknown
I just realized I beat this game without using items
