People in the comments: "Man this guy seems like a jerk" Me: At 7:30 Bubbles starts giving praise and thanks to all the people who helped him start speedrunning this game (thank god he said one clap or else we'd have been there all day) and ends it with a heartfelt thanks to his friend and rival, how exactly does he seem like a jerk again?
This was a great runner! Nice, in depth commentary on both the strats used and giving respect to the community, with a way to get audience participation in a way that doesn't leave them clapping awkwardly at the wrong moment. Not a ton of jokes, but just a very polished technical run.
I'll be honest, I figured out the Railroad puzzle on accident. I was like "This is like the underground railroad!" *Sliding letter puzzle* "Nora: First letter is R...." ..... Okay is it railroad? IT IS! Is this like an awesome secre- WHO THE FUCK ARE THEY!?
I actually solved it the legid way :D no wiki, and a pen with some paper ;D oh and ofc some brainworking Edit: oh and btw I actually didnt noticed that its "railroad" until I had the "rail" right in front of me >
DerManuel LOL! I can see that happening. For me, old D&D player and Bethesda has not changed their puzzle philosophy much from its D&D inspired roots so I was able to just guess it. Nora will say "First letter is R..." even without having found the previous letters. From there it is a case of "How basic do you think the solution is?" Its like the Twin Lamps back in Morrowind.
Really interesting speedrun. The runner was definitely quite the character, haha. I can see why he irks some people. Although I'm not sure why there's so much fighting about it. Some people like him, and some think he's a douche, but it's not a big deal either way. In the end, at least he helped raise money for charity.
watching this taught me a lot about speed running - I am anxious to try out Fallout NV tomorrow - I have smashed the quests and stpry lines on that game numerous times and could use techniques learned here like loadwarping to fly through it - only thing though I have never played through without mods and using the bare minimum skills/weapons. it will be a challenge for sure I cant wait. Thanks for this
He's a douchebag. He lies about finding strats and has a big ego. He got a souls runner banned from twitch just for criticizing him. He is a total asshole and the worst souls runner in the world. He should stick to these games and stay out of souls.
40 hours and you did every quest i doubt that if your talking about main quests i believe you the story of this game feels like it should have been fallout 3 dlc
"the institute kidnapped my son" "damn thats bad even for them" "why would you want to mess with the institute" "they kidnapped my son" "damn" all within the span of 30 seconds... preston has a pretty shitty memory EDIT: i just remembered its called alzhiemers or something like that after forgetting what it was called, how funny is that?
actually you can enter kelloggs memory while in thirdperson and you will still be in third person when you are in the actual thing, though you cant change between first and thirdperson once in the memory
He said, "you guys at home can do one clap." I proceed to clap just for the hell of it, and he says, "Just don't wake up your dog." And my dog is lying a few feet away. Trippy
Player: Damn it Todd why do I move so slow in 3rd person? Todd: It just works!!!!!!! Player: No Todd it doesn't Todd: It just works!!!!!!! Player: No Todd it really doesn't! Todd: But it just wor.... Player: Shut up Todd
lmao, did the same and thought "hey" lets go back and see the comments for this video, goes back sees your comment, like comment and now Ill leave once again
No. The character Tinker Tom can literally be sleeping when you go in there depending on the time of day, just like every other character in that basement. Stop being so sensitive and looking for a reason to be offended.
Player: Is that a bug or a feature?
Todd Howard: Yes.
Yes.
It just works
Yes.
+MrRandomgamersNL Yes
A quoke.
"And I'm going to go through the back door, don't try that at home" not a single person laughed, tough crowd.
My life Why yeah I thought that joke was funny
Same he said he was using a dirty little pip-boy. Silence. All the Sex jokes went over everyone's head
@IG: confused_melo For FACTS #Ginga well, since humor is subjective, we can agree to disagree.

FINAL PAM
I'll be honest, I figured out the Railroad puzzle on accident. I was like "This is like the underground railroad!" *Sliding letter puzzle* "Nora: First letter is R...." ..... Okay is it railroad? IT IS! Is this like an awesome secre- WHO THE FUCK ARE THEY!?
I got it on my own too. But I knew I was looking for railroad so I entered in railroad.
I actually solved it the legid way :D no wiki, and a pen with some paper ;D oh and ofc some brainworking

DerManuel I only had to look up what the hell the Freedom Trail was so I could follow it.
Notsuzpicious
There is a quest marker isn't it?
I loved the shoutout section. That was a really cool thing to do.
"he's the best friend I've ever had, full applause"
"(murdered two innocents in their beds) full applause"
I kek'd
"THAT'S what I think of settlement quests."
Me too. Like, any more settlers need help? *silence.* Good, that's what I thought.

THE FINAL PAM
Ezra R. Comfort who?
THE FINAL PAM LIVES
Y'all are buggin I like this dude, I actually like almost all of the runners that appear
Really interesting speedrun. The runner was definitely quite the character, haha. I can see why he irks some people. Although I'm not sure why there's so much fighting about it. Some people like him, and some think he's a douche, but it's not a big deal either way. In the end, at least he helped raise money for charity.
Exactly! 🙋
Bubbles had a god roll in charisma irl. He's probably the most enjoyable runner to watch in any GDQ event.
watching this taught me a lot about speed running - I am anxious to try out Fallout NV tomorrow - I have smashed the quests and stpry lines on that game numerous times and could use techniques learned here like loadwarping to fly through it - only thing though I have never played through without mods and using the bare minimum skills/weapons. it will be a challenge for sure
I cant wait.
Thanks for this
the one clap feature added a different feeling. i loved it.
I love this guy
Bubbles is awesome.
Dude, his attitude is killing me in a good way. I don't think they get runners *without* personality for GDQ's... And that single clap xD
You must not have watched the Trials run.
He's a douchebag. He lies about finding strats and has a big ego. He got a souls runner banned from twitch just for criticizing him. He is a total asshole and the worst souls runner in the world. He should stick to these games and stay out of souls.
Feels
>Nah, he’s cool
painful to watch this knowing how much speed-tech has been discovered over the last 4 years
So this is like my run but -139 hours
;-;
Wut.... I have 40 hours and im bored I did every quest
40 hours and you did every quest i doubt that if your talking about main quests i believe you the story of this game feels like it should have been fallout 3 dlc
This is mine but about -500 hours.
todd cost him a second by jumping into the ceiling and slowing him down
"slow movements okay?" What bubbles does: MOVING AROUND AT THE SPEED OF SOUND!
Hifumi Takkimoto one clap
final pam is pleased with metal speed runner
James Medina
49:00 and like that, Bubbles became the world record holder for Fallout 4 Tinker Cone speedrun.
Thanks for editing out the intro and getting straight to the run!
"Single clap everyone..." *Mixed single claps* - My night has been made.
that guy behind the couch in the green shirt did the negative clap
Fascinating watching this and comparing it to the runs in 2020 with even crazier strats discovered
"Shes gonna let me know she loves me" "which is really nice :B" ahahaahh this guy is awesome
9:28
THANK YOUUUUU
lol hahahaha
That was awesome. Both the strats and commentary.
"the institute kidnapped my son" "damn thats bad even for them"
"why would you want to mess with the institute" "they kidnapped my son" "damn"
all within the span of 30 seconds... preston has a pretty shitty memory EDIT: i just remembered its called alzhiemers or something like that after forgetting what it was called, how funny is that?
ironic
I enjoyed it. Thanks for the speedrun :)
one hour to finish the game? jesus christ
It used to be 5 hours at one point.
fallout 3 is 20 minutes lol
Now it's in under 40 minutes insane
morrowind is under 5 minutes
Waabflips damn
Bubbles is love. Bubbles is life.
it was so entertaining it felt like 10 minutes to watch but i watched the whole thing
My grandma is upset because the lights keep flickering but I didn't tell her to buy the clapper, I'm watching my damn video game video
"if you did two claps, i swear to gosh"
That first minute of banter had me hooked.
Bubbles is my lifeblood.
"She's gonna let me know that she loves me, which is really nice :)"
Great run and chill runner, i rememeber 2012 speedruns where all the runners where really weird
actually you can enter kelloggs memory while in thirdperson and you will still be in third person when you are in the actual thing, though you cant change between first and thirdperson once in the memory
I love the Final Pam polygon monster factory reference.
I donated before this run! A shame we didn't get High Quality Video Game Rips for the file name. But TheFinalPam is certainly a good second choice.
He said, "you guys at home can do one clap." I proceed to clap just for the hell of it, and he says, "Just don't wake up your dog." And my dog is lying a few feet away. Trippy
"1 clap" had me staying till the end xD
The best part of the speedrun is when the guy on the couch does a negative clap 😂 52.00
Player: Damn it Todd why do I move so slow in 3rd person?
Todd: It just works!!!!!!!
Player: No Todd it doesn't
Todd: It just works!!!!!!!
Player: No Todd it really doesn't!
Todd: But it just wor....
Player: Shut up Todd
Loved the commentary this guy is hilarious
the video is broken ? or for just me ?
yeah sync is way off, got this problem with a lot off GDQ VOD´s....
Same, I just could not figure out WTF is happening
Let's give a ONE Clap for this dude
Cheers to that negative clap. - 52:00
DrTChops ftw
"Take it slow" -Dr Amari's last words as he sprinted out of the room
Has anyone broke a record at SGDQ?
Yes, a couple. The only "bigger" game was Braid afaik: ruclips.net/video/jeQJNyHDW2g/видео.html
All three guys on the couch head bob at the same time lol. 33:16
Komplex lol great observation
anyone know how to do the vendor glitch he did?
I think it was patched
Valentine: Where's your son? What happened?
DrTChops: Where's your run? What happened?
I nearly died laughing
"One clap"
*turns off video*
why tho?
Because forced appreciation isn't appreciating something.
+Thomas Druce it was a joke tho
**whoosh**
lmao, did the same and thought "hey" lets go back and see the comments for this video, goes back sees your comment, like comment and now Ill leave once again
Fun to see a speedrun done of a game where the game speed is tied to the frame rate :P
What if someone designed a game ONLY meant to be played with engine exploits? (Like wall glitching, or sequence breaking)?
run starts at 1:34
left dude on the couch hurts his hands with the magnitude of that clap 5:00
I can’t abide one clapping for this man on command
So anyone fill me in on the Pam meme?
+Taoc Hoddock thank you ;)
1:04:55 did they really Imply what I think they did?
At GDQ?
Dayum. I hope they don't get trouble for that one.
are you saying they implied the n-word?
No. The character Tinker Tom can literally be sleeping when you go in there depending on the time of day, just like every other character in that basement. Stop being so sensitive and looking for a reason to be offended.
What the hell are you talking about? I was talking about the line shackmountain said.
18:40 I see you back there, you triple-clap heretic!
18:45 This badass in the backround...
I love this dude already, 1 clap 👏
these guys are legendary
Oh hey that guy on the couch is the guy who was making fun of that "glitchless" mirror's edge speedrun
I don't get why people think that "one clap" was awkward. It was clearly a joke
Way too entertaining for its own good, very nice personality!
Where's the mention of TrashHulk?
19:55 any tutorial how he did that glitch???
If people haven't seen you you REALLY REALLY should go watch Monster Factory's episodes with Final Pam.
Starts at 8:40
Favorite speed runner! Let's go!
ahh..... one clap ?
How did they do the Daisy item underflow glitch?
18:43 we got us a practical joker top left and in the back
How did he make the 10mm pistol into a one shot kill?? In the beginning at least (edit: 47 minutes later I just found out why)
if you having trouble with railroad code it is railroad you have to spell railroad
Yeah I figured it out in like 5 seconds on my first play through.
PavlovDelFuego
9:00 I counted 22 hits, but I might've missed one
1:33 start.

THATS WORTHY OF ONE CLAP AND NOT ONE TOO MANY

THE FINAL PAM LIVES ON
48:58 "We got the cone!"
Always gotta go to the comments to find where the runs start
idk man fallout speed runs really tickle my fancy
That's actually the road cone from Half Life 2. HL3 confirmed.
oh man I love this con :)
