I work for Spectrum. There are 3 possible outcomes.
1.) He shows up to court and pays the ticket. He is required to report all of this to his supervisor regardless of the outcome. If he doesnt its instant termination. Everything blows over, no harm no foul.
2.) If he's lucky....They will bring him into a room with his leadership and give him a written write up. He will be required to acknowledge what he did wrong and write out steps he plans to take to avoid the same situation in the future...Everyone in the room signs the document. If he refuses to accept the correction and acts disrespectful during the interaction they'll terminate him.
3.) HR will fire him immediately for making them look bad. There are written codes of conduct all field employees are required to adhere to. Remaining respectful when interacting with the community is one of the expectations. Technically they have grounds to fire him at any time. He should start kissing ass and apologizing real quick if he wants to keep his job.

Now you want me to believe that the van was doing circles around the cop car blasting his music? I call bull. It dont make sense. The most likely answer is that the guy pulled out, and now that he was starting to get away from the kids and karens he turned it back up as the reason he was asked to turn it down was cause of kids and karens. If the guy wanted a conflict, he had a chance for one. He could have told the cop to piss off when initially confronted and there's his conflict.
in conclusion, you have to do some mental gymnastics to believe 1. The guy decided to run circles around the cop with music blasting after he respected everyones wishes, 2. That that van has the accustics to break sound ordinances, 3. A cop can be respectful when possibly being disrespected and 4. Just look at his video titled "Illegally arrested for defending her brother" for instance, where he cut out certain parts of the video where she made threats to kill an officer's family.

CPD has been featured on this channel at least a dozen times over the past year or two. That is disproportionately terrible compared to the size of the department and the city. For context, CPD has been featured for their terrible behavior more frequently than Ohio highway patrol, NYPD, LAPD, Chicago PD and Miami PD….all of whom have more interactions and more crime in their area. Columbus PD frequently uses excessive force, overcharges for minor crimes, escalates situations and has been known to shoot at least one unarmed person and one person in the back at least once per year for nearly a decade (look it up). THIS is the reason why officer involved shooting camera footage is required to be released to the public within 48 hours. They are untrustworthy and their police practices should not be mirrored anywhere else.

@Notsirol Avniw aka Backwordz both the channel and cop conform multiple citizens got his attention so this was a public disturbance. Unfortunately if there is a public disturbance and a law, in this case a noise ordinance, that applies to it then it would be shitty to ignore it. The cop did the right thing by simply asking him to stop. The guy not only didn't stop he waited for the cop to leave the store, raised the volume, and presumably drove circles around the cop while he got in his car. He did stop him because he informed him he was breaking the law, asked him to stop, the guy said he would, then turned around and made a scene. I'm usually happy to assume the worst but when the driver agrees with how the cop describes the situation its hard to do that.

It is another way to see the body cam as friend not for, it saves him from having to remember everything when later typing the report, it provides more transparency because it will be released with the body cam footage (in litigation even if not under a state's FOIA), it makes finding a pattern of mistaken beliefs easier _before_ those result in a lawsuit or death, and provides for more public security through accountability because it's another place to see how the story changes if something ends up coming under scrutiny.

The Connecticut State Police (CSP) are the only agency in the USA, Canada, Europe and anywhere in the modern world where the patrol fleet, their entire fleet, has no overt high visibility markings. The CSP has no specific identifiable license plate, striping, no anti-collision chevrons, no badging or graphics, no roof mounted warning lights that allow easy recognition and identification from a distance during any weather or ambient lighting condition. By marking their cruisers the CSP would have the affect of appearing more ubiquitous than they are. The CSP will say we have lights. The lights are at the discretion of the operator, the other vehicle markings mentioned is what is missing and should be required by legislative action if not department proactivity. A Mass state police study, the Feds, Arizona DPS and others have indicated the importance of vehicle markings for the officer and the public. - Discuss.

Blasting music in public. We've all been there, when some; "yahoo", does this. However I did the same type-of-thing, when I was a younger person.
And now that I am older, I have to agree with this Leo. Just be respectful and lower the volume, or put headphones on.
Also, we all need to remember that when we are using company vehicle's, wearing company clothing or on the clock. We are an agent or representative of that company. And there are numerous instances when the company was held liable for the actions of thier employee's. So most companies don't want that exposure. Therefore, cross a serious line and it could cost you your job.

This is so petty on both sides. Don't waste our tax dollars on loud music in a vehicle. And don't be a dick to a cop.
