    Couldn’t be better timing Sneed. I literally have my Verizon router showing up tomorrow! I have T-Mobile rn, wanted to do a side by side. I get wide variations with T-Mobile… 200-350 down, 15-25 up. Ping 25-30, loaded 500-800 up/down, under 5 jitter. Can’t wait to try out VZW’s. Thanks for all the effort, going to be a great help for tomorrow! :)

    You couldn't have uploaded this video at a better time! I literally just ordered my Verizon home internet today and will get it in a couple days. I currently have Spectrum as my ISP, I'm very happy with the service extremely reliable. But I'm not happy with paying $80 a month for 300/10 service. I do have Frontier fiber available in my area, but decided to give Verizon home internet a try as it was cheaper than Frontier and has a 10-year price guarantee you can't beat that. Also I live super close to the tower which has in N77 for Verizon.

    I just got mine yesterday 01-03-2023. I posted this on your other video did not see this yet, I just got my Verizon 5g home internet. I am running it through my ASUS router. I ran the speed test while watching your video from my computer and my ping was only 25 download was 302.16 Mbps upload was 21.39 Mbps , on my phone ping was 37 and 302 Mbps download and 20 Mbps download and this was also while playing your video. I also watched a few episodes of tv over the network and had not lag or buffering. I am going to cancel my Spectrum. Thanks for your vids Sneed!

    Great video! I work at Verizon and have been selling this for a while now, and the hardest part is getting people to just try it and see if it will work for them, have had some returns and the majority of them never even opened the box... I haven't seen how it all works till your video . Thanks for putting this out there. I will probably use this to show customers to show how easy it is, and if it isn't for them bring it back np just try it lol.

    I believe you could always call customer support for internet/tv services to ask what promos they have to offer if not talk to a supervisor that's what one other RUclipsr said which isn't a bad idea because it's either no things would stay the same or you'd get a better bargain but I thought you had at&t fiber I don't think people should have more than two internet coming into the house

    I'm in the same fix with sudden and unexpected rate hikes, twice in one year after my intro rate expired and my regular rate was double the intro. I mean, sheesh! My concern with Verizon LTE is streaming while working on a separate system. It's just me. Everything else I have plugged in (Echos, tablets, etc.) isn't in use simultaneously. Would you tell me how it is when you chill with your Netflix while your phone is active and you ask your PA how long it will rain? Haha. My life in a byte.

    Great video. What is the difference between ping and loaded ping? What should the range be for the loaded ping? Is a higher or lower number better? Thanks.

    • @realsmt
      @realsmt  Год назад +1

      With latency/ping and jitter, the numbers should be as low as possible. Unloaded ping is fine below 50 Ms, the lower the better. Loaded ping is basically a more real world usage measure. As the network pull is happening, inconsistencies and throttle can happen in real time.

    Verizon is saying I can get G5, but I am not too sure. I am eligible for discount. I think I might be too far from the nearest node( 6 miles, as the crow flys , but no direct line of view) AND I live in Poconos - fairly mountainous. My current download on dsl is 15m and and upload is 1.5m maximum. If I get it, will it automatically switch to 4g or lte, if the 5G doesn't reach? Do you think I should give it a try?
