Doctor Wrong it’s not overpriced, it’s just expensive. This is overpriced and expensive for what it is, but the Star destroyer has a reasonable price for its amount of pieces

I like the flatter cockpit area. I wish the front blasters were cowled better like the older Y-wing. And it wouldn't have been too hard to make the entire round turret assembly rotate instead of just the central area.
Got this for $55 brand new. One of my favorite sets. Even $70 for the piece count and minifigs isn’t terrible. Not nearly as overpriced as the Sith Tie Fighter for $80 or the Grievous Starfighter for $80.
I have the older y wing, thank you for comparing them, size wise it looks small, and then you put the other one next to it and it's WAY longer than it. I'm getting it when I can, maybe a self Christmas present
a small trick to properly place stickers on several tills. they must be blocked as they were when they were assembled and liquid used to clean the windows must be used. so stickers can slide and position more easily. when done, wipe them with a soft cloth
Wish lego would make a new cockpit piece that slants in at the sides for this and the snowspeeder models like they do in the films, would make the set a hell of a lot better

Glad i was able to get this set when i did, got it at walmart a few weeks ago along with poe’s x-wing on clearance. Spent $40 on this and $50 on the x-wing.
This build was extremely satisfying. Absolutely loved it. I am with you on the price, but wrote that off to the characters. It’s a shame they made a micro fighter with zorii bliss. Would’ve been great if they kept her unique to this set. The price would’ve been easier to swallow if they had. All in all this was one of my favorite builds thus far.
MandRproductions it’s better to have it than not if it doesn’t bump up the price, like in the y wing. They can add to a scene or at the very least, spare parts

I agree, this y-Wing comes off as overpriced. It is a very good looking set with good figures so at least it has that going for it. If it’s super badass in Ep 9 I’ll prob get it on sale some day but for now I’ll pass on this one. That snow trooper with the cape is super nice though 👌🏻
$70 is honestly steep but this is still a sleek build with very good Minifigures...

I got mine for 48$ in 2017 at Wal-Mart.
This one is actually $55 on amazon.

The older one had the loading forklift thing that fluffed the piece count up a little for the old one.
The “T” pneumatic part isn’t supposed to come all the way down, that’s why the clips aren’t attaching properly and are constantly coming off.

The box art for these new sets is class I love the black greebles on the box mixed with the yellow. I love that teal droid.
