In this video we are going to show you how to apply a vinyl decal or "Wall Decal". The decal is from WallPressions. If you have any questions please feel free to comment below and we will get back with you as soon as possible.
    REQUIRED ITEMS
    • Masking tape
    • Measuring tape or level
    • Squeegee or edge of credit card
    WALL LETTING INCLUDES THREE LAYERS:
    1. Transfer Sheet: The sticky, tape-like sheet that covers the lettering. (The decal will
be visible through the transfer sheet.)
    2. Wall Decal: The actual product that will be transferred onto the wall.
    3. Backing Sheet: The protective sheet on which the decal is adhered.
    BEFORE APPLYING WALL LETTERING:
    1. Ensure the wall to which the lettering will be applied is washed, rinsed and dried. A mild household cleaner is recommended.
    2. Wall decals come rolled in its package. Unroll and lay the product on a flat surface with the backing sheet facing up. (The decal should be facing down.) Smooth out the entire image using the applicator. This will release the decal from the backing sheet onto the transfer sheet.
    3. Using a tape measure or ruler, determine the specific placement for the wall decal.
    TIPS:
    • Prepare walls by cleaning with a mild household cleaner.
    • When choosing a wall decal location, be sure to determine precise placement. Once the lettering is applied, it can be removed but not re-applied.
    • Wall decals can be applied to most non-porous smooth or semi-smooth surfaces. You may find some difficulty applying the decal to porous or chalk-like surfaces such as stone, flat painted surfaces, or textured walls. We only recommend decals for smooth surfaces.
    • If bubbles appear on the decal once it has been applied to the wall, rub with fingers in an outward motion, working the bubbles to the edge of the design.
    • Work carefully and slowly for best results. Some decal designs are intricate and can be delicate.
    • The decal can be cut apart and stacked in rows, applied at an angle or arranged around windows and doors.
    • If the wall has been recently painted, allow 2-3 weeks to dry properly before applying the decal.
    • For easy removal, simply warm applied decal with a hair dryer and peel from surface.
    • We recommend having someone help you with the application process for larger decals.
    1. Use masking tape to attach the top portion of the transfer sheet to the wall. This will ensure the quote stays in position while applying.
    2. Once the decal sheet is taped into position, flip sheet up and then slowly and carefully peel the backing sheet off at an angle. While removing the backing, ensure that the decal is transferring from the backing sheet onto the transfer sheet. If portions of the decal are not transferring, carefully replace the backing sheet over the decal and rub with applicator until it fully adheres to the transfer sheet.
    3. Carefully replace the transfer sheet, which now has the decal on it, onto the wall. Using the squeegee or edge of credit card, rub the pieces over the transfer sheet onto the wall. Working outward, ensure that the entire transfer sheet has been rubbed onto the wall.
    4. Once the transfer sheet is completely adhered to the wall, use a squeegee or edge of a credit card and rub the decal (making sure to thoroughly rub over corners/edges of the decal) before removing the transfer sheet.
    5. Slowly peel the transfer sheet away from the wall and lettering, carefully pulling the sheet off at a tight angle. If portions of the decal are not transferring to the wall, stop pulling back the transfer sheet as to not tear the decal and carefully replace the transfer sheet on the wall and rub the decal with applicator until it fully adheres to the to the wall. After the sheet is removed, smooth over the image with your hand.
