Good video John!!!! Im waiting a bit but Ill have one later this year. I have a few original RA rifles. Love them. I have one orig magazine RA. MY 300 BO, It feeds flawless. I have the newer magazine and I have the AR magazine guns. None have been problem.
I read somewhere years ago that many weapon stoppages are related to problems with the magazine. I realise some plastic mags are ok but I have been disappointed with IMO some manufacturers taking shortcuts with the magazines. Unlike my old Sako and Mauser 98! Thanks John. 🇺🇸 🇳🇿
I have 6 Ruger Americans. Rotary, ACI and AR mags. I guess I'm lucky, I never had an issue with any mags. I shoot 100-200 rounds a month. I do know you have to pay attention when loading the rotary mags. I agree that the rotary mags are not designed well. Ruger could have done better.
I have a gen 1 American in 6.5 CM and all my experience with the Ruger American relate to that gun only. Mine has a AICS magazine. I have used both Bergara and Ruger magazines and they do require some trimming to make them feed quickly. I have seen videos of people who have converted the Ruger mags to aics mags.

Thanks CW! Yeah, for some shooters they work, for others, they are cussing them nonstop. My 450 Bushmaster Ranch rifle is a bit finicky. Happy Easter!

The AR and IC magazine models seem to work OK. The Ruger rotary has many complaints, some of my friends have problems with those. Thanks for watching!

Yeah, the AIC magazine works better then the Ruger factory flush fit. Happy Easter and thanks for watching!
Havent got many rifle with detachable magazine. I prefer internal magazine. Allway have. Give it a flat profile for carrying
