You don’t need to remove the mag release lever. That’s why he showed the ball end Allen key. Why he couldn’t do it, I have no idea. Pretty embarrassing for him.
Not sure why you needed to remove the mag release. That’s… odd. Also, you could leave the gun in the stock. 2:18 you can see the trigger adjustment screw right there…

Tool should have came in the box to aid in taking the mag release lever out of the stock assembly to better access that bolt
Mine came with the installation tool for the mag release.
It works slick once you figure it out!

I have a ball end hex wrench but try as I might I could not get it to grab the screw.

You cannot adjust the trigger without removing it from the stock. All instructions were followed from the manufacturer.
