      JohnWesley Downey would have been cool if they somehow achieve in one actual shot, but it’s a very quick and clever cut. There’s quite a few in this scene. It’s slick but if you know what to look for, you notice them

    • @kinnexion
      @kinnexion 5 лет назад +1

      Connor Levers no, I wasn’t just talking about that bit. And in fact, that very same transition could have been done easily without the use of special effects. I wasn’t insinuating using CGI. I was also pointing out that there are quite a few transitions in this scene that could have been done in one shot. I counted about 5 maybe even 6

      He's got a great clean singing voice. Does an unimpeachable job imitating old Reg. He's already in the movies, so branching out would look naff, but he can def do roles that involve singing and take on the vocals himself.

      it's absolutely criminal he didn't get nominations from Critics Choice or the Oscars. His peers at SAG at least nominated him and of course BAFTA. But everyone was all over Joaquin Phoenix Joker, which IMO is a bit overrated because Phoenix acts like that naturally, but he'd been around 30 years with several nominations from various bodies. Always an agenda. But so glad Taron won the Musical or Comedy categories for Hollywood Foreign Press Golden Globe and International Press Academy Satellite. And in both he had tough companion with Leonardo DIcaprio and Eddie Murphy

    I watched this film in a way you shouldn’t 🤫 and this is where they are getting these scenes from obviously I mean streaming just look online the whole film is there HD but has foreign subtitles on the bottom didn’t bother me I forgot about them the whole credits aren’t there and I’m someone who will sit through them but that’s ok can’t be picky when I’m being illegal

    it's absolutely criminal he didn't get nominations from Critics Choice or the Oscars.

    Kids voice just doesn’t have the same cut as Elton’s but the scene is great.

    this scene is great but (like quite a few scenes), I always wondered what exactly he was telling the group. cause we see him telling the people in therapy about his life so, in scenes like this, what exactly is he telling them?

    They actually do this song better than Elton did?

      Stephen Courton I personally agree. I love Elton. I have since I was a very small child, but I personally think a lot of the songs in this film are better than the originals

      This had the same nuances that Elton did, so it's impossible to say they did it "better" when it's just updating what he did. If anything it's a fresher take, but his actual live performances remain superior.
