    I am a senior woman. Please, please get some programs that are more oriented toward women's issues. It would be great if you had some that dealt with younger women and some that dealt with women like me. The issues are quite different. The concerns are quite different. The way of dealing with things is quite different. Please consider finding a woman to lead some of these programs and guide those of us that need help. Thank you so very much for listening to my concerns. This program is much appreciate it. I've been using it to good effect, but I would love to hear some women talking about their successes and failures within it.

If you any specific questions for me, feel free to reach out or ask them here and I'd love to answer them for you.

    I have a question I’m hoping someone can help me with. My dad (70 yrs old) was recently diagnosed as pre-diabetic. However he is very lean and active. Some say skinny people can still get diabetes because they’re “skinny fat” however my dad has been active his whole life and has very little fat. When I search “lean diabetes” in RUclips I get video after video promoting keto diets to reverse diabetes in skinny people. But I can’t find any information if plant based is effective. Would a plant based diet help someone like my dad?

    Hi. Thank you for this discussion. I normally do 3 sets of 12 - 15 reps with about 11 weight machines at the gym. My brother says I should do about 4 reps but go heavier. Can you please let me know your thoughts on that? What is better? I am 61 year old female.

    Thank you for the right info and inspiration. I am following Cyrus for a few months now and doing better and I have just started strength training at 65 years and will add the slow resistance as it is key and easy. I would be interested in receiving one of the gift books of your Mastering Diabetes as Maxime mentioned he was kindly offering ten.

    Great info. I tried vegan for a couple of months with trying to get 100 grams of protein but with all the beans my digestive system was very uncomfortable for me and my wife. I am going to try again but use lentils & pea protein powder this time.

      Here is a tip for you. Plants are toxic to the human body, beams are one of the worst.
      Follow Dr Berry, Chaffee and put the plants in the bin, eat a proper human diet.

      Awesome I would also recommend looking into non-gmo and organic tofu or tempeh, those would be great sources of high quality vegan protein.

    Can one use resistance bands for strength training?

    • @maximesigouin
      @maximesigouin Год назад +1

      Of course, any form of resistance works. As long as it's going against gravity it will work, so it could be a reusable bag of groceries with cans of beans if you want too.

      Yeah, they both look like they would benefit from bining the toxic plants, chomping into a 16 oz rib eye, and getting some good diet advice from Dr Chaffee, Berry or Baker.

      @@jeremiahhundley6629 Well, I guess everyone is different. Seems each has to have their own designer diet.

      Actually, my experience has been quite varied with diets. As someone who has competed in CrossFit, I initially found success with Keto, but eventually, it ceased to be effective. I also tried Paleo, which was beneficial until I developed Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease. The carnivore diet lost its appeal to me due to the high meat consumption it demands and my aversion to factory farming practices. In the last year, I transitioned to a Vegan diet after Keto, but it didn't suit me well. It was only after eliminating fats from my diet that I began to feel better. Having experimented with numerous popular diets, I've concluded that a diet rich in whole food carbohydrates is the most effective and sustainable approach for me.
