As a retired journeyman pipefitter/welder, I just wanted to let you know you have gained a new subscriber. Your content and instruction is spot on. I just wish that when I was an apprentice and rookie welder there would have been RUclips videos available with the instruction and content that you provide. Good on you brother for sharing your knowledge and talent. Stay safe and well.

You should have a put a spacing tool on the tight side then you start welding on the opposite side until the spacer falls out, that is when you stop and switch to the spacer side and weld there. Putting just 2 tacks in is asking for problems.
