Why Do You Think Some Of The Caitlin Hate Exists?

    • @brianl.3579
      @brianl.3579 3 месяца назад +34

@@PlayersUnlimited simply... Embarrassment and the unwillingness to admit that she is better that almost everyone else. She does not make a fuss or try to show up others, she just does what she loves and is there to do.
I can not wait until she starts telling the opposing team exactly what she is going to do, and executes it perfectly (Bird). The hate will continue but she will remain above it all and answer it on the court.

frankly i think her not being on the Olympic team was a huge gift for her, she had been playing nonstop for almost a whole calendar year and the first month of the W season was unprecedented even in an olympic year for games played in a short amount of time, we will see shortly when the W starts back up and a rested refreshed CC is unleashed on the rest of the league. they haven't seen her best yet (or Angel's for that matter though its easier on a big than a PG and their schedule wasn't as frenetic).

The WNBA is almost a charity with the NBA giving them millions every year just to exist. If they were an independent sports league, they would have been bankrupt 20 years ago. The WNBA has existed since 1996 and neverr has even been close to making a profit, just massive losses.
Now they have a chance to have a huge surge of popularity that would benefit all the players. What do the WNBA players do? They hate on her and collectively are playing dirty against her.
I am not looking for the the players to worship and praise her. But how about not being jealous and evil? When young phenoms like Lebron and Steph came into the league, the NBA players weren't constantly fouling them with dirty non-basketball plays. Yes they played hard to test them but nothing what Clark is facing.

How can ANYONE say that she’s ‘overhyped’? What hasn’t she been able to accomplish, in her short time in the WNBA, that she was ‘hyped’ to have achieved? She’s literally doing it ALLLLLL. And whilst staying humble and engaging and endearing. Y’all need a higher power in your lives, if Y’all throwing shade.

Had zero interest in the WNBA (sorry) before CC. She puts the work in and delivers at a whole new level. She elevating the whole league. (sorry again -just facts) So, haters will hate, but players R gonna play. These ladies have to make a decision of which they wish to be.

I see a difference between the men's and women's games. The Birds, Magics, Isaiahs, Jordans, Kobes, etc. would figure out year to year what was lacking in their games and how to improve their skill set during the off-season. They'd come back improved. They stood up to the challenge. But hating Caitlin Clark and roughing her up only serves to expose a lack of mental toughness and willingness to to do the work necessary to level up their game.
Where are the other WNBA players who can consistently shoot 3s like CC? The WNBA game has been largely unwatchable because you see wide open 3s and layups regularly missed. CC is refreshing in that she's consistent AND spectacular. The jealous and resentful women ought to be grateful that she's bringing positive attention to what in all honesty has been a subsidized league that has benefited from artificial life support from their NBA brethren.
The ones who are trying to bring CC down are just showing, unfortunately, that the quality of their play is beneath hers.

There's a little voice in my head suggesting that #22 has played all of these haters as fools and their day of reckoning is approaching quickly. The floor will possibly fall out for the remainder of the WNBA playoffs and with it all of the gains that were provided by a lilly-white, straight rookie whose only crime was a tenacious work ethic and a flair for a game that was no more than a minute blip on the consciousness of an entire block of new fans. Yet, all we can visualize are the fingers of haters pointing at the "vicious Indiana fan base" as if they were the cause of a fast-approaching black hole that was once a possible salvation of a dying women's sports league. Congratulations, WNBA! YOU FOOLS!

WNBA acts like petty girls in grade school. Imagine being such a talented player and not being able to experience the Olympics. To take this honor away is beyond tragic.

Oh please her numbers are not that good. And if the wnba is petty so is the NBA. There's more examples of men crying and throwing tantrums in sports so don't even go there.

I know apparently nothing about female basketball.
but....I can recognise the "Green eyed monster" when I see it. and of course, being the USA, the race card has been thrown in to justify the bullying and hating.
I'm glad to see the pro male players and veterans have been stepping up to defend this girl... who has done nothing wrong other than being a fantastic talent. The stats don't lie.
Talk about trying to kill the goose that lays golden eggs... From what I've seen on this sarger, the total hypocrisy is beyond belief... it's quite sickening to watch.

I used to watch the WNBA off and on. I started following Clark a few years ago at Iowa when she was becoming known. I watch all the Fever games now. She brings the spark that many people love. She has the fire that Kobe had and the popularity is insane for her. The snub from the was a blessing in disguse. She got a break away for a little bit and is coming back on fire!

Tarusia is the reality of the game mean being abused, beat up on, knocked down and whole hand of sharp finger nails to the eye. That is BS and you know it. Yall are all jealous b/c she is good. You all could be learn from her instead yall are trying to hurt her. Are yall so scared of her that you would rather hurt her so she can't play. Finger a to the eye were intentional. She meant to take her out of the game. KARMA IS COMING. I'll be waiting to hear about it and about just how many fans come see the rest of the playoffs!!! It won't be me

I still don’t understand why there is so much talk about ‘bullying’ on the court. How is it that other sports can control the performance and behaviour of the players. Players do not control the game unless the officials are incompetent. This is the case in the WNBA. How can such behaviour occur in front of the officials? The ruling body controls the officials, have the officials been told to allow such behaviour?

  • @BossDoogles

Nope Team USA did exactly the right thing. Leaving Clark off the roster Has only boosted more interest around Katlyn Clark. More interest around Katlyn Clark means more sales in the long run. This is all perfect marketing for the WNBA. They don’t want to stop the bullying because the bullying is making headlines. It keeps Katlyn Clark relevant. Imagine how much publicity would’ve been lost if Clark would’ve rolled into the WNBA and would’ve been a star without controversy. Less people would have cared but no you make her a victim and everybody has something to say and everybody wants to see for themselves.
