This was my first attempt at the Leadville 100 and it took EVERYTHING to get across the finish line. Even though it was extremely hard, I absolutely loved the experience. I'll never forget my fellow runners, the crowds, the nature, and the full moon! I owe a huge thanks to my crew--my mom, Dana, and Xanthe, and my all star pacers, Amelia Boone and Darcy Piceu. I can't wait to do it again ;) *My shoes are the Hoka Speedgoats 4.

It’s amazing that you can put yourself through so much pain and still be interviewing people during the race. Picking up the camera while you’re struggling is heroic - a true inspiration in your adventures and your filmmaking Ryan.
Youtubing takes priority over being a whiny crybaby. haha. Plus, talking to people helps distract me from pain :)

When my husband and I sat down to watch this video - we thought - an hour? You did such a great job talking to the camera and editing that we were surprised when it ended. It seemed more like 20 minutes. Great job showing us what it was like and also coming in 55th!! The comment from 1982Lancia says it all. Thank you for sharing.

I was there to pace someone (unfortunately she sprained her ankle before Twin Lakes and missed Winfield by 2 min). It was such a fun experience still. Being in Leadville during this race week was so exciting!
Outstanding. ALL the feelings at the finish line! This accomplishment honored all the great things you’ve done in life so far, and the people who’ve helped and inspired you. Finishing a 100 is a special thing. Well done.
