I can definitely relate to the urban-fatigue, but the food did look good!

Very nice vlog. Wow some of the portions are huge in Germany. I love my acreage life. I never thought I would but years ago when we moved out here it only took a very short time to know this is the life. Take care.

Thank you! Glad you found the perfect life for you too! :) And true, some are really big - it´s helpful to be able to share everything. And thanks for teaching me a new word: acreage. Never seen it before.

Looks like you guys had a bit of an adventure :) Traveling can be quite stressful, but it helps to go to familiar places I think. The contrast between your cottage and the city is so huge, did you get used again to the noise/lights/people at all in your short stay? I hope you had a good time over Christmas and nice start to the new year :)
Just seeing these impressions is giving me flashes of anxiety/overstimulation. I so get that craving for calm and nature, and I grew up in Köln (the suburbs at least)! I never enjoyed living in the city though, but work/life forced the situation until now.
Although I do miss the German Konditorei goodies, and Knödel! And I'm sure I will miss the Belgian bread and Brödchen scene as well, and proper fries after we move to Sweden 😛

Thank you - happy new year to you as well! :) We did not get used to it, no.. but seeing familiar faces was still worth it. Oh I've only been to Köln a couple times. :) Yeah so many people are stuck in the cities due to work etc.... at least you are getting out - that´s great! Yeah a real Konditorei I am sure you will miss. But there are actually Brötchen in the regular supermarkets here.. Hope you have an easy move!
