I know, Christmas is over and this feels like the Christmas clearance section in the supermarket, but I still wanted to share this little glimpse into our lives at this time, in this little cottage.

All season I kept listening to hear the Waitresses Christmas Wrapping and not once was it played on the radio while I was listening and I was sad but not sad enough to stream it, then besides Kevin's always great music, you provided me with just enough to wrap up the season! I can now take my tree down completely fulfilled with holiday cheer. 🎉🎁

You two work well together in the kitchen. I bet the birds were happy you two got back. We finally got winter in Alberta. This weeks is suppose to get to -38 at night and a high of -26 and it’s been snowing. Take care.
Hole = you forgot to put porridge outside for nissen (in danish). Tomten i think it is in sweden.

Lovely video once again :) It's nice to see you try out the local "cuisine" and not just sticking to known foods! The moose looked amazing, btw. We have a rice-pudding dish here in Belgium too, we use vanilla and saffron for a sweet version. First time having risgröt in Sweden, we were surprised that it was salty, the only time we bought a premade pack 😛
So are you signed up to Vasaloppet yet? 😀 Gustav Vasa did that ski trip when trying to rally the Dalecarlians against the Danish king, who was at the time king of Sweden, and had just had most of the Swedish nobility executed. I think it's disputed if he really did that trip though, and he probably used snow shoes and not skies. But in the end, the Dalecarlians joined him, they defeated the Danes, and Gustav Vasa was elected king, 501 years ago this year, the last Swedish king to be elected since he made Sweden a hereditary monarchy.

😂 ..... when you showed the creek down the steep hill ... reminds me of what happened to me ... I wanted to take an Ice Dip in the Wolf River and I slipped and tumbled down the steep bank --- looked SO MUCH like in your video except my river is wide. LOL ... SPLOOSH !!! 💦
Was it "Pösa"? It's a traditional Swedish dish, but usually not eaten at Christmas. Kroppkakor/palt isn't really Christmas food either.
