Soooo first I want to say that this is the first thing I've watched after working at McDonald's for a solid eight hours today, and it made me weirdly giddy. But to answer your McFlurry question, no, the spoon is not a straw. We blend the mix-ins using the spoon in this machine. Hey Emmy! As someone who has worked at a McDonald's, when you make the McFlurry, you put the spoon in the unmixed ingredients (ice cream and toppings) and you attach the square end to the blender machine and that's how the McFlurry gets nice and blended up!

The spoon is square so that when it is attached to the machine, it can be used to blend the toppings into the vanilla soft serve ice cream. The ice cream you get in a McFlurry is the same soft served ice cream you would get in a cone or a sundae. It's funny. My wife is German and my twin daughters are blonde haired blue eyed beauties. They both LOVE Emmy and want to be just like her when they grow up ( they're 9), and we're totally down with that. Love the world we live in.
The spoon hooks into the machine and it acts as a churn to soften the ice cream and to mix in the toppings instead of using a metal piece that can harbor bacteria
Emmy has to be so educated and from a great family. Just look at all the adjectives she uses in her other videos to describe what things taste like. Mindblowingly accurate and paints a perfect picture in one's brain.
I recently traveled to Europe and traveled to different countries. We stopped by a McDonalds in Madrid, Spain, and we're shocked by how nicely is looked. I think what shocked me the most was the burger that had Goat Cheese on it! Delicious. 💙
Emmy the spoons are like that because they are used to actually stir the ice cream! It clips onto a machine and when turned on it spins the spoon and stirs the ice cream! I was a manager at a McDonalds :)
Does anyone here from the states remember McDonalds Salad Shakers?? I loved them! It’s kinda funny how almost every item questioned for why they aren’t sold in the US, is either now sold in the country or came at least for a limited time. Psychic Emmy!
McFlurry isn’t a milkshake but really just a regular soft serve with special toppings that is mixed into the ice cream. The spoon attaches to the machine that mixes the McFlurry, which is why it looks a bit funny, they kinda put the spoon on a little peg that then spins around so that the spoon spins in the cup and mixes the topping into the soft serve
The mcflurry spoon isn't a straw it's so we can put it in a mixing type of machine you attach the spoon and press a button and it mixes the mcflurry with whichever topping
The spoon is like that because when you attach it directly to the machine to spin up the Mc Flori it’s not a separate piece of metal it’s just it stirs it with each individual sponsors no cross-contamination
We do *have them here in the US* 😁 and YEA here in Little Rhody --They're at *Wendy's* Cheesy Baconator Fries ( and they use real bacon 😋🥓 ) Great video , always Much Love ~ 😈🔺🦋
Hi Emmy, 🇳🇱 here. Thanks for picking us 😉 Since you are working so hard on all your pronounciations, and stroopwafels are your favourites: you are close with how you pronounce it but it is more like strOOpwafel. With a O like in 'hope'. Now you are smuggling in a 'oe' sound in the middle that is not there. Enjoy your stroopwafel 😀
TheCoolKitchen That’s exactly what I was thinking! She actually does her best to display the food and dissects and describes the different tastes with an extensive vocabulary. THIS is food appreciation.
I tried the stroopwaffle McFlurry and its so good! I happen to really love that caramel crunchiness, but I do want to try some real ones the way they are meant to as soft and gooey. You trying to figure out the straw was so adorable
Im disappointed. If McDonalds are going to introduce some of their international stuff...why not go with the asian ones. The asian McDonalds food always looks amazing. This stuff just looks like regular old stuff you could get here anyway. Come on. The exception is that strupwaffel flurry....love strupwaffel.
I have a feeling this is a business test to see if anything “sticks”. Because you say the Asian food is so nice, it may be too much work and standards to keep 😂
dear emmy. I dont know if someone told you this. but the back of the spoon is for the machine to mix the McFlurry. My english is bad but I know the purpose of that. they stick the machine into the back of the spoon and then it mixes the McFlurry so all the bits mix in the flurry.
Someone must have said it first; but why Gouda (a Dutch cheese) on a Spanish bun? Spain has it's own very good cheeses. Manchego is the most known Spanish cheese I think.
I love that Spanish Burger. You can get it with double meat if your really hungry. The extra meat makes that burger even more tasty and satisfying to me.
Speaking of the birds hanging out round your car. Where I live in the UK on he coast, seagulls know you're eating even with your windows closed! They sit on the bonnet of your car watching you lol.
In the UK at the moment, McDonald's have veggie Happy Meals with veggie nuggets (fried lumps of breaded mixed vegetables). This is the best thing they've had since the frustratingly short lived Quorn Burger.
The spoon attaches to the mixing machine that they use to mix in the candy bits. After it's done mixing they simply detach the spoon and give it with the mcflury.
Back about 1965 you could get a small burger, fries, and a drink for 88 cents. Round it up to a dollar and you could add a fried apple pie. That was the zenith of McDonald's empire and they've gone precipitously downhill ever since.
The stroopwaffles are at DOLLAR GENERAL!! I tried it recently before the McDonalds mcflurry was introduced because I'm always intrigued by foods from around the world ! I really liked the Canadian chicken sandwich!

Hi Suz, Christine from Idaho, U.S. Isn't that cheese and bacon fry covered in gravy sorta the Canadian poutine?
hi fellow Aussie serious question what mc d's have you been to that still use the spoon to blend the thing i haven't seen them do that since 2005
Poutine is fries topped with cheese curds and gravy. Not processed cheese sauce and bacon.
Christine King the gravy fries 🍟 just have normal fries and gravy on top. No cheese and no bacon.
ReddoMao to be really honest I haven’t had a McFlurry in a very long time. By the looks of her spoon they still have them in the US
The mcflurry spoon connects to thmachine to mix it. Spain has a delicious Galleta mcflurry with dulcet de leche. Also bacon cheese fries are sold in Spain and now here in California where I live.
You’re always so sweet! Love your videos Emmy 💜
Would love to see a video of how you prepare for these kinda videos, like a behind the scenes? What do you do with all the left over food? Or do you eat it all lol, or give it to the family? Would love to know
As a Canadian I'm happy you liked the Canuck chicken burger but I'll wondering what about it McDonalds felt said "Canada!"
Is it something they offer in Canada that they don't offer in the States?
@@DPir1320 I live in montreal, have honestly never ever seen that burger... But we have poutin. ❤
@@DPir1320 No, that's the weird part. Most summers they offer a lobster roll sandwich (it's vile, don't bother if you've vacationing her in summer) Maybe it's the brioche bun?
They offered it for a while, last summer there was the guacamole version too. I'm in Montreal and have seen it quite often. A couple years ago this was marketed as the Ontario chicken burger
What do they have for America? Or is it just the four?
It's funny. My wife is German and my twin daughters are blonde haired blue eyed beauties. They both LOVE Emmy and want to be just like her when they grow up ( they're 9), and we're totally down with that. Love the world we live in.
It clips on the machine stir the mcflurry.
So stinking cute.
The spoon hooks into the machine and it acts as a churn to soften the ice cream and to mix in the toppings instead of using a metal piece that can harbor bacteria
You should try de McKroket form Netherland. Its crispy, its creamy.
And is stays warm while you eat.
gokmachine they have it in several European countries
Emmy has to be so educated and from a great family. Just look at all the adjectives she uses in her other videos to describe what things taste like. Mindblowingly accurate and paints a perfect picture in one's brain.
WATCHING YOU TRY TO USE THE SPOON AS A STRAW MADE MY DAY LMAOOO
I recently traveled to Europe and traveled to different countries. We stopped by a McDonalds in Madrid, Spain, and we're shocked by how nicely is looked. I think what shocked me the most was the burger that had Goat Cheese on it! Delicious. 💙
A couple of years ago, I was introduced to fries with gravy. How can you go wrong? :)
Emmy the spoons are like that because they are used to actually stir the ice cream! It clips onto a machine and when turned on it spins the spoon and stirs the ice cream! I was a manager at a McDonalds :)
None of these makes me want to go to McDonald’s.
I loved the first burger she tried. The McStreme? Or whatever it's called lol
Does anyone here from the states remember McDonalds Salad Shakers?? I loved them! It’s kinda funny how almost every item questioned for why they aren’t sold in the US, is either now sold in the country or came at least for a limited time. Psychic Emmy!
I can tell this video is going to be BOMB
sea side sigh Why?
Her taste tests are so great and that thumbnail got me lmao
9:20 The spoon has a hollow handle because it is used to mix the McFlurry. It attaches to the mixer.
emmy making me hungry after midnight ahh 😭❣️
Daanngggg its midnight where you are ? 🤔 Cool AF, where ya at ?
I'm watching this at four in the morning and I can only ask, why am I doing this to myself?
McFlurry isn’t a milkshake but really just a regular soft serve with special toppings that is mixed into the ice cream. The spoon attaches to the machine that mixes the McFlurry, which is why it looks a bit funny, they kinda put the spoon on a little peg that then spins around so that the spoon spins in the cup and mixes the topping into the soft serve
Each time I watch your videos I just get so hecking hungryyy but I love them 💙
The mcflurry spoon isn't a straw it's so we can put it in a mixing type of machine you attach the spoon and press a button and it mixes the mcflurry with whichever topping
i died when you tried to use it as a straw 😂❤️
The spoon is like that because when you attach it directly to the machine to spin up the Mc Flori it’s not a separate piece of metal it’s just it stirs it with each individual sponsors no cross-contamination
Now I want to buy you a box of stroopwafels since you like them so much.
The McFlurry spoon is multifunctional and they hook it up to the machine that stirs it to mix your mcflurry and then you can also eat with it.
We do *have them here in the US* 😁 and YEA here in Little Rhody --They're at *Wendy's*
Cheesy Baconator Fries ( and they use real bacon 😋🥓 ) Great video , always
Much Love ~ 😈🔺🦋
Omg those are so good. Yummo!!🍔🍟
Hi Emmy, 🇳🇱 here. Thanks for picking us 😉
Since you are working so hard on all your pronounciations, and stroopwafels are your favourites: you are close with how you pronounce it but it is more like strOOpwafel. With a O like in 'hope'. Now you are smuggling in a 'oe' sound in the middle that is not there. Enjoy your stroopwafel 😀
The original Mukbang channel. I really prefer this type of format than the gross ones we see nowadays.
Smoked gouda is common all over Europe, it's the default smoked cheese. Manchego isn't a cheese you add to things it's a cheeseboard cheese.
@@Rose-jz6sx I stand corrected about the fact that Gouda stands more for a procedure than a protected regional cheese.
I love that Spanish Burger. You can get it with double meat if your really hungry. The extra meat makes that burger even more tasty and satisfying to me.
I'm on a diet Emmy 😢 but great video as always, got my stomach rumbling
Speaking of the birds hanging out round your car. Where I live in the UK on he coast, seagulls know you're eating even with your windows closed! They sit on the bonnet of your car watching you lol.
Hey Emmy, I know its random, but would you ever think of making Martabak Manis? An Indonesian sweet.
omg i looked up a video of it being made it looks sooooooooo sweet. i dont think i could handle it.... but i might still try lol
@@Corkoth55 I'd leave off some of the butter lol. That's to much. Hopefully she will make a video.
@@monicaperez6672 true. the videos I saw were drenched in condensed milk also.
@@Corkoth55 i could do the condensed milk without any other sweet just peanuts and sprinkles.
Indonesian food is the best!
Wow, that was actually a lot better than most food reviews. Subscribing now.

In the UK at the moment, McDonald's have veggie Happy Meals with veggie nuggets (fried lumps of breaded mixed vegetables). This is the best thing they've had since the frustratingly short lived Quorn Burger.
I was visiting my mother in Germany an tried the new frappes. When i got back to the states they didn't have them yet. LOL
What a McBummer. I totally missed out on that foreign currency deal. I've got so much yen laying around too.
the mcflurry spoon is used to mix the toppings into the icecream so it looks into a mixer that's why its hollow with the clip.
