I love how poetic and romantic you created this song, full of softness and gentleness. It's such a delight to get lost in a bygone world while listening to it on loop. A true masterpiece for the ears and the soul :)
i cried once reading the geralt saga about them both, and now again reminds me of something that can't be completely mine but bounded by a wish or some sorcery
When I first was listening to this song, I liked it, but now, when I've listened to it the second time, I've actually teared up, cos it's full of gentleness and love. It often happens to me when I listen to your songs, sometimes I need to listen to it a few times to really feel it, and I always want to come back to it, even if I didn't really understand the first time what I feel about this song, if I like it or _love_ it. I think it's a sign of a great art.
it's a main quest in the game, Witcher 3. The game us SOOO GOOD! I've played it 3 times lol. Geralt tells Yen she smells of lilac and gooseberries. Karliene does a PHENOMENAL JOB of capturing the pure essence of what the Witcher is! The person doing the string music is also PHENOMENAL! put me right back in the game lol.
Listening to this song makes me calm somehow. You made this song so poetic and romantic, full of softness and gentleness. It feels like you're telling a love story. Last weekend I watched The Witcher, and I love it. It sums up how Gerald and Jennefer felt about each other. At least, that's my opinion.
Hello! I play the guitar and personally this is one of my favorite songs especially because I read the first book, saw the Netflix series and currently playing the Witcher 3 game and I understand the story behind this song. This is a truly masterpiece! I can say that this song will have a special spot in my heart. Can someone please make a tab for classic guitar for this song? Great work with this song!! Thank you for sharing with us this catchy and beautiful song! Sending love from Romania!
I love the lyrics they are so relatable to both the characters it is just perfect, is this some sorcery. Oh common give me some lilac and gooseberries ✨✨❤
Just kinda understood that in Sapkwoski's work, Love is very complicated and not absolute. A magical Love has thus the same value than a "normal" one, maybe even greater than it. Sad that the show didn't work their love story as it should be worked...
I don't know much about the witcher myself. Couldn't really get into playing the games enough and I find the modern way they create series horrid, so no fan of the series either. But this song... Ha, this is how you tell a fantasy tale. Better than the games. Better than the series.
@@ironwoodssolstice5502 that's actually a very good idea. I just started the name of the wind, but I'll make sure to remember this when I've run out of books I haven't read :)

Thank you so much, gorgeous lady. So much of it is all down to you and your lovely Jan. You guys really elevated this song into something magical.
@@Karliene You're such an inspiring composer, it's only joy and pleasure adding instruments to whatever you create!
Jaskier would have a hard time if you arrive in the Northern Kingdoms
Haha, what a compliment. Maybe Jaskier and I could team up and become travelling bards together. 💙
@@Karliene I wish 👍👍👍👍👍👍
This fits the Witcher perfectly

The instrumentation and vocals just created magic together! Absolutely beautiful.
So excited to listen to this wonderful love song! I love the lute and the Medieval touch in the music! So happy to be here! Love from Greece!
Thank you so much, lovely. I'm glad you like it. Jan did an incredibly beautiful job with his lute playing.
Yes she is one of the best new artists I have heard in a very long time. Love her music
Thank you. That means a lot to me 💙
My favorite♥!!! Beautiful Medieval Celtic love song. Love the lute with this one.
Jan really did a spectacular job with this song. His lute is magical alongside Roxane's strings. They're both amazing

I know, a bit late, but Iam curious, how did you mean that"modern way" part?
I usually date Triss but I just changed my mind
